Chapter Thirteen
Later that night Shikamaru ended up at Sasuke’s house and shuffled his feet as he knocked. The door opened and Sasuke almost glared at him.
“What do you want?” Sasuke asked.
“Um…well I wanted to ask you something.” Shikamaru stammered.
“Well….” Sasuke waited and still nothing came out. “Well what the hell do you want to ask?”
Shikamaru cleared his throat and looked Sasuke right in the eye.
“I was wondering if you like to do something together…you know like a…date?” His voice squeaked and the normally passive expression of Sasuke was now set in shock.
“…What?” Sasuke asked.
“You heard me.” Shikamaru shuffled his feet again. “I really like you.”
They both blushed and Sasuke wasn’t sure what to say.
“Well…I guess.” The Uchiha said slowly.
‘There wouldn’t be any harm in it, besides it’s not like he’s ugly or anything. I think if I was to ask Naruto like Kakashi sensei said, the dobe probably would have sicked Kyubbi on me.’ He thought. (NOTE: I know Kyubbi’s name is misspelled, but feh.)
“Really?” Shikamaru asked, his once heavy lidded eyes now large.
“Yes. When should we….”
“Now!” Shikamaru nearly shouted and then calmed down. “I mean if you don’t mind.”
“No, I’m not doing anything so I guess so.” Sasuke said and quickly locked the door after grabbing some money and keys.
They then started their way to town and Shikamaru couldn’t stop smiling and looking over at the Uchiha.
‘I can’t believe he agreed like Kakashi said.’ He thought and slowly brought his hand to try and hold Sasuke’s.
“It’s a little soon for that.” Sasuke said and Shikamaru took his hand back.
“Sorry.”
Meanwhile Kakashi watched from afar…somehow not being detected by the two ninjas and smiled at how wonderful his plan was going.
‘After a bit I should set up Sakura and Rock Lee, then Ino and maybe Kiba.’ He thought. ‘This village is lucky to have a matchmaking genius as myself.’
(-_- Full of yourself much?)
(Ahem onto the story.)
“What are you doing Kakashi?” It was Tsunade, don’t know where she popped up from, but here she is in all her Hokage glory.
“Umm just observing is all.” He said and she trailed his line of sight.
“I see.” She said. “You’re waiting for some Sasuke on Shikamaru action.”
Kakashi stood besides her and his visible eye went large.
“No!” He gained his composure and gestured an apology. “No, I’m trying to get Naruto and Sasuke together through jealousy, but if that doesn’t work than it’ll be Shikamaru and Sasuke.”
Tsunade’s eyebrows flattened.
“That’s cruel Kakashi.” She said. “In the end someone is going to get hurt and you’re going to be responsible.”
“Don’t censure me.” Kakashi said quietly and received a death glare.
“Go fuck Iruka!” Tsunade yelled before disappearing.

NOTE: o.O I know I made Kakashi and Tsunade immature and really ooc, but I couldn’t help myself. It was tooo funny. ^.^
