Chapter 13: Waking Up From A Dream??

Naruto met Sasuke's lust filled eyes. He licked his lips. He was intent on feasting on his love and he was about to do so. A small smile graced his lips and he put his hand on Sasuke's cheek. He traced Sasuke's bottom lip with his thumb and leaned to kiss him passionately. His heart began beating faster and faster. He was about to make love to Sasuke...

*In the Actual Reality*

"Hey!" a voice called out, making the unconcious Naruto stir. The ground underneath him was cold, ice cold. He shivered as he sat up. He could see his breath. Naruto quickly opened his eyes and realized he had been captured. He was in a cold, dark, damp cell and there was no getting out right now. At least, not right now. He supposed that the dark figure that had captured him in the alleyway had knocked him out. He was frightened. He remembered being in the inn with Sasuke, just about to make love to him and then he was here. He knew exactly what had happened. When he was grabbed by that person, he must have been knocked unconcious. He knew that had to be it.

He was worried about the others. Neiji and TenTen must be looking for him right now. He hoped that Orochimaru didn't end up finding them. He wondered if they had ran into Sasuke yet.

"Hey, hey you kid!" the voice called again, Naruto realizing it was the man in the cell across from him.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Naruto asked sharply.

"You are a prisoner of Orochimaru," the man told him. "I cannot say how long I have been here, for I do not know."

"No one's going to keep me captive, believe it!" Naruto shouted. He did the hand sign for his Shadow Clone Jutsu and suddenly another Naruto appeared. He then readied his Rasengan and tried blasting through the wall. It was alot thicker than he thought it was.

"That won't work," the man told him. "It's impossible to escape from here."

"Nothing is impossible!" Naruto shouted back, readying another Rasengan. It was very tough after he broke through the initial layer of concrete on the wall, so he tried breaking through the door with his Rasengan. He didn't even dent the door. He tried to catch his breath.

"I told you it was useless. Orochimaru catches many a ninja and keeps them here. None have escaped."

"No one will keep me prisoner because I'm going to become Hokage someday!" Naruto shouted
at the man.

"You can't be Hokage when you are rotting in a cell."

*With Neiji and TenTen*

"Didn't we tell Naruto to be back here by now?" TenTen asked Neiji. "I hope nothing happened to him."

"I will try to find him." Neiji got a weird look in his eyes. "Byakugan!" He shouted, activating his special kekkei genkai. He looked around frantically for Naruto, but to no avail. He was not able to spot him at all. "I hope he didn't get hurt."

"The sun is setting. He said he would be back," TenTen informed Neiji. "We have to find him."

"Let's search the city," Neiji suggested. "Let's stay together, in case we have any problems."

*With Sasuke*

He shivered a little as a cold breeze blew through the air. His search for the day was about to come to an end as he spotted a familiar face, the face of his old sensei, Kakashi Hatake. Thousands of thoughts ran through his head as to why he would be there, but he knew it would be his safest refuge to go to him. Taking the pack of cigarettes from his pocket, he began walking toward the masked ninja. It was if he was waiting for him, the entire time. He pulled out a cigarette, lit it and inhaled the first drag deeply. He sat down on the park bench beside Kakashi.

"I knew you would be coming here," Kakashi told him. "It seemed like you, to be wandering in thecold night, thinking, searching."

Sasuke looked over at him, unable to say a word. He didn't know what to say to him. There were so many things to say, but none would emerge from his lips. He took another drag from his cigarette.

"Naruto misses you terribly. You were the only one on his mind since that day. He wanted to get stronger to save you. He has trained almost as hard as Rock Lee since that day."

Sasuke leaned back on the bench, inhaling another drag from the cigarette he was smoking. "I was looking for him," he said softly.

Kakashi looked over at Sasuke, his visible eye softened his gaze at the boy. "Why were you looking for him?"

"I want to tell him I am sorry," Sasuke admitted. "That hurting him was never something that I wanted to do. I believe that I will never be able to be sorry enough for what I did to him. If I have to be in misery the rest of my life to see him happy, then I will gladly be."

"Did Orochimaru send you here?" Kakashi asked.

"What are you doing here?" Sasuke asked. "I don't like being the target of questions, I want to find out your intentions first, before I answer another question."

"I came with Iruka. We are here on buisness," Kakashi told him.

Sasuke looked down at the ground, taking the last puff from his cigarette before tossing it aside. He sighed deeply. "Do you know where I can find Naruto?"

"I do not know exactly where he is," Kakashi informed him. "You should find Neiji and TenTen, they would know where Naruto is. It is up to them whether you get to see him or not."

"Kakashi, I mean him no harm. I just wish to apologize," Sasuke told him, his eyes looking into Kakashi's. "Never again will I put him through any kind of hurt."

"Forgive me if I can't fully believe you yet," Kakashi explained to him. "After all, you did almost kill him."

"I understand if you can't fully trust me," Sasuke told him. "I wouldn't trust me either."

Kakashi stared into the darkness as he watched Sasuke walk away. He has certainly
grown. He could feel the evil energy coming from the boy. It was eerie, making shivers
go up and down his spine. He was afraid if Sasuke found Neiji and TenTen he might hurt
them, but then again, he knew Sasuke did not lie to him about his words. All that evil
energy that he had gathered from Orochimaru had made him a very strong ninja, almost
as strong as the sannin that gave him that mark.

Kakashi got up from that bench and headed back to meet Iruka. He was going to tell him
what he had seen and have them send word back to the village, that he had contact with
Sasuke. He needed more ANBU here immeadiately. He was suddenly afraid for Neiji
and TenTen. He knew he needed to find them. He hurried to get to Iruka.

*With Neiji and TenTen*

"I'm really worried now, Neiji," TenTen told him. "You don't think Orochimaru has something to do with his disappearance, do you?"

"I'm not sure what to think right now, TenTen," Neiji replied. He looked frantically, until his eyes fell upon someone he recognized, that man was Iruka-sensei. "TenTen, Iruka-sensei is here, let's get with him."

They both approached him, intent on getting his help. "Iruka-sensei," TenTen said softly, "We need your help. Naruto is gone."

"What??!!!!" Iruka shouted. "We were sent here to make sure that nothing like this happened!"

"Who is 'we'?" Neiji asked.

"Kakashi," Iruka quickly said, trying to regain his composure.

"We last saw him this morning, he went looking for Sasuke," TenTen explained.

"Hey, Iruka," Kakashi called out, waving at him. "I have something to tell you." Kakashi neared the group. "Ah, I see you have found each other. That makes my night much easier."

"Kakashi, you look like something is bothering you, you have that look in your eye," Iruka told him.

"I saw Sasuke," Kakashi explained. "He was free from Orochimaru. I think he's trying to get away from him, and trying to find Naruto. I think Orochimaru captured Naruto to keep Sasuke. I believe that he's also trying to lure us in. He knows we are here and for some reason, wants to kill us all.

"What could he want with Naruto?" Neiji asked. He then realized he knew the answer to that question right after he had asked it.

"Orochimaru wants to keep Sasuke, so in order to keep him around, he must kill Naruto," Kakashi informed them.

"We have got to find Naruto," Iruka suggested frantically.

"I agree!" TenTen agreed.

"I think we should wait for Sasuke to come back to us. He will know where Orochimaru is hidden. He longs to escape from him. I could see it in his eyes," Kakashi told them. "We will get him to help us save Naruto."
