Chapter Fourteen


Orochimaru smirked at Itachi and reached for the bars and received a shock.
“Well god damn it.” He swore and Tsunade and Kakashi appeared behind him.
“Can’t you guys just make this one little thing easy?”
“You’re not killing him.” Tsunade said and he turned around to look at her.
“Well I can’t with these chakra shit bars.” Orochimaru said. “Unless I find away around it.”
“There’s no way to release it unless you’re the one that created it in the first place.” Kakashi said.
“Yeah and that’s not going to happen.” Tsunade growled. “And you can’t, especially after having that fresh seal put on your arms.”
Orochimaru pursed his lips and it returned to his eerie smile.
“No, but Sasuke could.” He said and looked back at the trapped Itachi.
“He can’t help you if he doesn’t know you’re here.” Kakashi said and Orochimaru snickered.
“Oh but he does. That seal that’s on him lets him feel my presence when I’m near.” He said with a chuckle. “Call it a paternal tracking device. It goes both ways.”

Itachi remained remarkably quiet through their talk, but listened closely.
‘I can’t believe that it’s this snake bastard that’s my wife’s father.’ Itachi thought with disgust and Orochimaru shook his finger at him.
“Uh uh uh.” He said. “Are you having naughty thoughts of Sasuke?”
“He’s going to be my wife!” Itachi spat.
“Sasuke doesn’t want anything like that from you rapist.” Orochimaru said.
“I’m not a rapist!” Itachi yelled, his Sharingan activating.
“Sure, just forcing yourself onto a little boy. No that’s not rape.” Orochimaru said sarcastically.
“You two stop shut up!” Tsunade rubbed her temples. “Orochimaru, you will come with me or I will put you in a cell as well.”
“I doubt you could get me in one.”
“Wouldn’t you rather visit Sasuke?” Kakashi offered and that rewarded him with a interested look from the snake nin.
Tsunade meanwhile gave him a ‘Are you out of your mind’ look
“Hmmm. That’s a interesting distracting gesture.” Orochimaru said. “Okay. I will leave him for now and go see Sasuke.”
Slightly relieved Kakashi nodded.
“Okay then lets go up and we can be on our way. We can’t just teleport over to where he his because we’ll end up with a gut full of kunai’s” Kakashi explained.
“I’ll stay here.” Tsunade said not liking the thought of them going over there, especially in broad daylight, but Orochimaru has been unusually cooperative.
The two started their way out and to Naruto’s house.

Meanwhile over at Naruto’s Sasuke’s eyes popped open even though the sedative should have knocked him out for eight hours. He rubbed the now pale seal mark on his shoulder and stood up with a slight wobble. He walked our of the bedroom and into the living with huge eyes watching him.
“Sasuke what the hell!?” Naruto exclaimed. “You should be still knocked out!”
Sasuke looked at the group, Shino, Kiba, Shikamaru, Neiji and Naruto.
“He’s here in Konoha.” Sasuke said in an almost sleeping voice.
“Yeah Itachi is.” Naruto said.
“No. Orochimaru is here.” Sasuke said and closed his eyes. “I can feel him.”
All their eyes went large and stood up in an almost guard like stance.
Sasuke swayed a little and Naruto held him up so he wouldn’t fall.
“How do you know he’s here?’ Neiji asked.
“It’s the marking he gave me. Whenever he’s nearby it…warms up.” Sasuke said.
“Man that guy is so bothersome.” Shikamaru said and turned to Sasuke. “So where is he?”
Sasuke closed his eyes again and leaned against the blonde.
“He’s coming through the door.” He said.
They jumped when the door opened and Kakashi and the snake nin walked through.

Neiji, Shino, Kiba and Shikamaru was motioned by Kakashi to stand down so they stood off to the side. But Naruto held onto the drugged Uchiha tightly and let a low growl out.
Orochimaru smiled and walked toward Sasuke.
“Hello there Sasuke.” He said and Sasuke looked up.
“Hi Orochimaru…or should I say father.”
