Chapter Sixteen

Soft gasps filled the air as a pale hand moved steadily up a smooth thigh, calmly seeking its prize. She made such pretty noises when he applied the right amount of pressure to various points on her body and just hearing those pretty noises was enough to make him keep going. Of course, there wasn’t much that could make him stop anyway.

Dark eyes stared into smoldering green eyes, the sound of her soft gasps reaching his ears. The dark haired male traced his fingers lightly over the woman’s slit, feeling her wetness gathering as he lightly probed for her clit. “Sai…” Came a throaty moan.

Sai smirked slightly, knowing that the impending begging would soon begin. “Hmm?” Sai questioned as he applied more pressure. “What is it, Sakura?”

A cry left Sakura’s lips as she gripped the sheets tightly, her heart pounding loudly against her breast. Gods, he was so maddening when he began to touch her. “Please.” Sakura managed to gasp.

“Please what?”

“Stop teasing! Just fuck me already!”

Sai smirked slightly as he listened to Sakura’s demands. He wanted to keep hearing her yelling at him to stop teasing. Pulling her into a searing kiss, the raven pulled away before pinning the woman’s hips against the bed.

A chuckle threatened to leave his lips as he shoved his tongue into the woman’s opening, hearing her cry out with a combination of surprise and pleasure as he assaulted her clit with his tongue. He just hoped that she’d let him keep playing with her body a little longer before she got irritated enough to make him stop.

Sakura tangled her fingers in Sai’s hair as her body was assaulted with jolts of pleasure. Begs left the woman’s lips as she pressed against the raven’s hands, trying to get her pelvis closer to his lips. Whimpers of “please” mixed in with low growls of frustration reached Sai’s ears, letting him know that she was beginning to get impatient.

Forcing himself to abandon the woman’s juices, Sai lined himself up with her opening before pushing into her. He hissed with he was fully sheathed inside of her, rotating his hips slowly. Gods he just loved being inside of her.

Sakura gasped softly as she felt Sai moving inside of her. There were honestly no words that could describe just how full she felt with him inside of her and there weren’t enough words to accurately describe how much she loved him.

A light layer of sweat covered their bodies as they moved together, the sound of moans mixing in with the wet sounds of Sai pulling out of Sakura only to enter her again. A groan left Sai’s lips as he felt Sakura dig her nails into his upper arms, urging him to move faster. “Sai!” Sakura cried out when he moved slightly.

The woman’s nails left Sai’s arms as she began pressing her palms against the headboard in an attempt to keep from being pushed away from the raven. Cries left her lips as Sai’s thrusts grew harder, pushing deeper into her. Sakura’s cries grew louder as she came closer, screaming Sai’s name as she was sent over the edge.

Sai gripped the woman’s hips tightly as he roughly thrust into her, feeling her body convulse around him. Keeping a tight grip on the woman’s hips, Sai felt himself releasing into the kunoichi’s body. After a few more thrusts to ensure that his seed was placed firmly in her womb, Sai collapsed next to Sakura as she moved so she was resting her head on his sweaty chest.

How long ago had it been when they first had done this? Oh, right. Soon after Sasuke had tried to kill them again. Gods… it had been about what? Four months before Naruto found his daughter in that damn cell?

Sakura nestled against Sai and felt his arms wrap around her naked form. It didn’t matter to her how much time had passed since she and Sai had started sleeping together. Hell, if somebody had told her when they first met that she and Sai would be dating and sleeping with each other, she would have broken every bone in the messenger’s body.

Of course, she knew that she would have apologized profusely when she discovered the messenger had actually known that they were talking about.

“Sakura?”

The pink haired kunoichi looked up at Sai, seeing the questioning look in his eyes. “Yes?” Sakura questioned. “Is something up?”

Sai studied her for a moment before questioning, “If duck-butt returns, will your affections for him overpower what affections you have for me?”

Sakura wanted to slap Sai for even suggesting that she still held feelings for Sasuke, but she knew that the raven’s concerns were justifiable. Rumors had been spreading that Sasuke had been seen in the area and of course Sai would start asking questions like that.

Kissing his chest lightly, Sakura shook her head. “No. You’re better for me, Sai, than Sasuke could ever have been.” Sakura told him with a serious look. “I’m pregnant with your baby, Sai. Not Sasuke’s. Yours. If Sasuke were to return, my affections for you will remain while any affections for Sasuke that had survived would be cast aside.”

Sai nodded slightly, his hand resting lightly on Sakura’s lower abdomen. Other than the small bump and her growing breasts, there were no signs that she was pregnant. He almost couldn’t believe that he had helped create a living being and that it was growing inside of the woman that he cared about most.

Softly kissing her, Sai allowed his fears and anxiety to wash away. Sakura loved him. Duck-butt could just go to hell and stay there for all he cared. The Uchiha had been stupid enough to let the pink-haired kunoichi go instead of seeing who she truly was.

Holding her close to him, Sai allowed sleep to overcome him just as Sakura began to drift off.

Naruto sighed as he rolled out of bed, fully prepared to kick the ass of the genius that had decided to tell Mahina that Sasuke had been spotted in the area. Ever since she found that tidbit of information out, the little girl had been clinging to whoever was keeping an eye on her and suffering nightmares again.

The blonde barely had time to brace himself as the little girl ran to him, throwing her arms around his waist. Tears stained the child’s face as Naruto picked her up, rocking the child’s small frame against his larger one. “It’s okay, honey. Daddy’s here.” Naruto said softly as he stroked the little girl’s hair. “It’s okay. Everything’s fine.”

“Sasuke’s gonna know that I’m talking again.” Mahina sobbed as she clung to her father. “He’s gonna tell Orochimaru that I was being bad.”

Naruto closed his eyes as he took the little girl out of her room and went into the living room with her. Handing the little girl her favorite blanket, the blonde sat down with her in a chair and began rocking softly. “You want to know a secret?” Naruto questioned gently.

“What?” Mahina sniffled.

“Sasuke can’t tell Orochimaru anything. You wanna know why?”

“Why?”

The blonde pretended to look around as if he were going to tell her something that no one should never know. “Because we received information that Orochimaru’s dead.” Naruto whispered to her.

The little girl stared for a moment, her mind processing the information. “So he’s in the bad place now?” Mahina questioned as she wiped her tears away.

“Yep.”

“What about Kabuto? If he finds out that I’m talking, he’ll get mad too.”

“Don’t worry. We’ll get that sorry excuse of a medic and we’ll show him why it’s a bad idea to mess with my little girl.”

Mahina rubbed her face against Naruto’s bare chest, her gentle blue eyes unfocused as she stared at a wall. Orochimaru was dead. One of the people that had hurt her was dead. He couldn’t hurt anybody anymore.

Naruto kept rocking, even when he noticed that the little girl had started to drift off to sleep. As he gently stroked her hair, he began singing softly to her one of their favorite songs.

In my daughter’s eyes, I am a hero

I am strong and wise and I know no fear

but the truth is plain to see

she was sent to rescue me

I see who I wanna be

in my daughter’s eyes

In my daughter’s eyes, everyone is equal

darkness turns to light

And the world is at peace.

This miracle God gave to me

I realize what life is all about

It’s giving more when you feel like giving up

In my daughter’s eyes I can see the future

a reflection of who I am and what will be

though she’ll grow and someday leave

maybe raise a family

when I’m gone I hope you see how happy

she made me

Mahina shifted comfortably in Naruto’s arms, her chest rising and falling gently as she slept. Naruto chuckled softly as he moved to the couch, careful not to wake the little girl up. Casting a glance at the clock, he mentally groaned. Four in the morning. Oh, well, he could get a couple hours’ worth of sleep before Mahina woke up at seven to get ready for school.

Gently kissing the top of his daughter’s head, Naruto closed his eyes. For now, everything was right in the world.

The sound of knocking woke the blonde an hour later, grumbled curses leaving his lips as he carefully got off of the couch. Putting the little girl on the still warm cushions, the blonde stretched before answering the door. “Baa-chan? What are you doing here?” Naruto questioned with a surprised look.

Tsunade honestly looked as if she had seen better days. Her hair was a slight mess and there were bags under her eyes as if she hadn’t slept all night. “Sorry to disturb you so early in the morning, GakI.” Tsunade said as she entered the apartment. “You know I wouldn’t unless it was urgent.”

“Yeah, I know.” Naruto answered as he closed the door, careful to keep as quiet as possible. “Hi-Hi’s sleeping on the couch. She had a nightmare this morning and I was just too tired to put her back to bed so she and I crashed on the couch.”

The old woman looked at the little girl, seeing that she was beginning to stir slightly. “Naruto, Sasuke came back last night. We’ve been keeping him in a holding cell until I could look over every one of his records.” Tsunade said with a soft sigh. “I’m sorry to say this, but I’m going to need to hear what Sasuke’s role in Mahina’s abuse was.”

Naruto stiffened slightly, not wanting to believe that his daughter was going to be questioned again. “Baa-chan, she’s already told us what she had gone through.” Naruto protested, his voice barely above a whisper. “Does she honestly need to relive it?”

“Naruto, I don’t want to bring that up with her again, you know that. She needs to be asked, just one more time.”

The blonde nodded slightly, his blue eyes showing that he didn’t like the woman’s answer. Moving over to the sleeping girl, Naruto knelt down next to the couch and gently pulled the blanket away from her. “Hi-Hi, you need to wake up.” Naruto said as he gently shook the little girl. “Come on, sweetheart, we need to go to the office.”

Mahina moaned softly as she rubbed her face on the cushion, clearly not wanting to get up. She was able to sit up with Naruto’s help, but her eyes kept drooping shut as the blonde helped her get changed. Wrapping her back up in the blanket after putting her shoes on the little girl’s feet, Naruto put his own shoes on before looking at Tsunade with a determined look. “If that bastard so much as looks at her wrong, he’s getting punched.” Naruto warned the old woman.

“We’ll try to keep Sasuke and Mahina away from each other.” Tsunade told him as they left the apartment. “I can’t make any promises on anything.”

He knew that. He just wished that she could.
