AN: ZOMG...I know...it's been FOREVER. But thats what happens when i start school....>< hopefully with things slowing down once more i can get the next chapter up soon...hopefully...writers block didn't help...BUT anyway..Please enjoy!!!


*Random Note: I've been wanting to see this entire story drawn out manga style and I know..I'm on Y!gallery and DeviantArt..so i have a bit of skill (not a lot) but I would love to see this done and was just wondering if anyone was interested or know anybody that would be interesting let me know via review! and leave me contact information..but yeah....thats all....cuz I think this would be an amazing story to see on paper and drawn out..@~@ -nearly passes out from excitement- But yes...Enjoy!!!

Madera had lost his pursuers long ago, but he knew a confrontation between the demon and Pein was imminent.

“It’s taken you long enough,” he said even as he pushed off of thick tree branch, his visible eye straight ahead. Zetsu was moving with him and melded in and out of the trees just as quickly, a wide sharp smile pulled across his mouth.

“I was briefly hindered by the Uchiha,” came the flippant reply and a rather short laugh followed the statement. Madara glanced in his direction even as the other disappeared into the trees, sliding right out within seconds.

“Did Itachi try to stop you?” he asked his jaw tightening a bit. His younger cousin was becoming more of a hindrance as time went on. He should have never entrusted important duties to him.

“Nope.”Another short sibilant laugh, “The demon started against Pein so he’ll be dead soon!” The grin grew as the tongue came out to lick his lips. “He’s at six tails and still hasn’t lost his identity….all he wants to do is kill…he’ll be good eating once the demon is ours!!” They talked back and forth even as they moved through the thinning forests. Madara listened to him a frown on his face behind the mask. His eyes darted up as the clouds began to form and circle northwest of his current position. There was chakra behind that. They had come far if that was who he thought it was. He barely needed to look in the direction before the bickering bipolar man disappeared towards the building chakra. He turned his attention back to where he was headed. He would have the demon before the sun set. He glanced back as the forest began to thin out. So more of Konoha was drawn out because of the demon. Once he had the beasts power, Konoha would be the first to go.

His chakra raced through his body, burning in anticipation to fight. To tear. To Kill.

“Come out of hiding!” he snarled loudly, the tails whipping around him, a loud growl erupting from the back his throat when there was no reply. He could smell him. Or the several entities that embodied him. It had taken research...and time. Several years to accumulate all the knowledge he could about the ninja behind the organization that needed the demon inside of him to complete their domination and obliteration of his world. But he had done it. Now he was close to making sure that goal could never be seen through. The heat radiated from him like a constant flame, and he slowly straightened, even as the tails thrashed behind him. Naruto’s eyes were focused forward, his body tensing for an attack as he heard the soft thud behind him of someone landing on the wet earth, then another. And another. None of them were him, but all of them were. Those same spiraling eyes. And pierced faces.

“So. You’ve come to me instead. This makes things much easier,” a being said stepping forward onto one of the buildings that left an overhang above them. Naruto felt an animalist growl rip up from his throat, and fought to control the beast, but he was far from being in control with little of his own sanity that was still with him. His vision went red and the last of his control was ripped from him as the beast surged up past the tattered remains of its cage, its chakra blooming outward causing the rain around him to sizzle and evaporate to the heat.

Pein watched the display, his mouth twitching upward. Perfect.

The eyes creased in displeasure as the evil, hot chakra filled the entire city. The tattoos on his face only seemed to darken as the white haired Sannin took in his surroundings. There wasn’t any more time now. He couldn’t possibly stop Naruto without Pein killing them both. Or the other way around. Cursing under his breath he moved through the raining city, his body melding into the sparse crowds and through jounin’s and nin who barely took notice of his presence. He wasn’t a Sannin for nothing. It seemed no matter what he could have taught Naruto he still would have done something like this.It was frightening how much like his father Naruto had become. How much they loved their village. They would sacrifice themselves just to keep it safe.

“I never thought my old sensei would revert to skulking through a raining city,” came a dry feminine voice behind him. Jiraiya turned with a frown. He had heard rumors...but...it couldn’t be. He turned to face the woman that had taken a higher point behind him.

“So. It’s true then,” he said finally, his eyes looking over her body. She had grown up for sure. And it seemed so had her power. Her specialty. The corners of her mouth creased downward.

“What you perceive as true is different from what I perceive it as.” Her darkened eyes lowered as her chakra built.

Jiraiya shook his head, “My fight is not with you,” he replied, his mouth a firm line. Her skin began to peel away, the fluttering paper coming off her like rose petals.

“You have no choice.” The paper petals sharpened and suddenly twisted, aiming towards Jiraiya.

Kakashi had to stop. His breathing had gone completely ragged as he braced one hand against the rough bark of the tree. A quick hand caught the back of his Jounins vest to keep him from slumping forward too much.

“We…can’t stop,” Kakashi said as he readied himself to push from the tree, but the hand stayed firm pulling back.

“You know he is out of our reach,” came the firm reply as he urged Kakashi back.

“You’re more than exhausted, you’ll kill yourself just trying to get to him,” Sai continued frowning deeply as he looked in the direction they were heading. His own aching body complained at the rough treatment but he ignored it. His brows furrowed more when Kakashi pulled from his grip.

“He’s after Naruto. We have to get there before he kills him,” Kakashi said his eyes narrowed on the other before he finally pushed off ahead a bit haltingly. Sai followed him closely, their pace considerably slowed with the state they were both in. His eyes narrowed and he twisted his head around looking behind them. It wasn’t possible. They were being tracked! By whom, or what, or enemy or friend, he couldn’t tell. He glowered.

“How fast can you go?” he asked. Kakashi grunted as he looked back through the dark forest.

“It’s going to have to be fast enough,” he replied shortly, before his sharingan eye spiraled. “Something’s coming fast and hard!” he snarled twisting in Sai’s grip and jumping upward. The artist had already whipped his scroll out and followed suit, the scroll whipping open to reveal the intricate painted dragon. His chakra built around him, his blood easily smearing against the fabric, the painting rippling to life.

Kakashi’s eyes took in the forest behind them feeling the presence of so much chakra. “Sai! Do it!” he snapped, his fingers flying together as the object of their attention drew nearer, and the inked dragon roared to life spiraling up and around them before darting hard and fast through the trees, a similar spiraling dragon of limbs and bark followed as well, Kakashi’s chakra thrumming through it. He was in no mood to be stopped. Especially now!

Kiba’s slitted eyes widened in shock as the chakra laced dragons came barreling towards him, and it had taken just about every bit of strength between him and Akamaru to get out of the way.

“Fuck!” he swore loudly watching the destructive jutsus rip a fissure through the forest nearly a half mile wide towards the rest of his comrades. He knew they would get out of the way, but it seemed that Kakashi and Sai had caught wind of them, but not in the good way. He swore again angrily gripping onto Akamaru as he shot forward again, the tail end of the double jutsus still thrumming. How the hell was he supposed to let them know they were friend and not foe?! And it wasn’t like he had any messenger scrolls on him or anything! He moved forward faster, fine, this would probably give away their location but there was no helping it and it wasn’t like he wanted either Kakashi or Sai (as much as he hated the guy) to waste any more energy than they’d already used.

“Come Akamaru, get your singing pipes on,” he grunted to the dog underneath of him. Akamaru growled, their chakra starting to move as Kiba’s hands pressed together, the signs flying easily across them.

“Hauringu Ookami no jutsu! ” came his half growl half shout before both he and Akamaru opened their mouths, a loud howling noise melding together creating a sound wave that reverberated through the trees. They were only using enough power to create the sound. Anymore and they would have leveled the trees ahead. The sound traveled fast and hard shaking trees and breaking branches. But it would serve its purpose. Help was on its way.

Itachi waited, his crouched form over-looking the city as he watched the interaction. His body was tense and he didn’t move when a familiar form came up behind him. A frown came over his face at the sudden smell of charred flesh.

“He tried to kill you,” he stated not looking back at Kisame. A rough snort passed from the others lips as the beady black eyes looked on towards the fight that was progressing to a deadly level.

“Worried were you?” Kisame asked. Itachi glanced at him for half a second before looking back towards the fight, the corners of his mouth pulled downward.

“The fight ahead does not have to involve you,” he said simply. If his brother was still alive, he would be on his way for sure. Kisame had distracted him long enough, but he would still be in the way. If he had to he would have to kill the demon before Madara claimed him, before his brother could interfere.

“But it will be fun,” was Kisame’s gruff response as he eased the sword from his back and sat down a bit heavily, his body twitching as a wash of heated chakra passed through them from the tails growing longer. The vessel was completely merging with the beast. And it was terrifying.

Itachi pursed his lips and his eyes pulled away and he looked at Kisame, “This path leads to death,” he stated watching his partner carefully. Kisame’s sharp toothed grin faded and he looked back at Itachi and he nodded once.

“It’s a path I know well,” he replied his eyes on Itachi, never leaving the red and black orbs. Itachi nodded finally before he pulled his eyes away.

“Madara knows. He is on his way,” he said finally, a wrenched scream echoing around the city before it turned from pain to rage. He slowly stood, the rain dripping through the red and black clock that clung to his body.

“Let’s finish this.” He whispered.
