The Test

I don’t own Naruto, any of it’s characters nor do I profit from my fics.

Hey everyone! Sorry this chapter is a little short, I’ll do better next time. I'm not certain when I'll get a chance to update again. I am going to be out of town until Sunday, so I'll have to leave you with this for now.

The next morning had come and gone and so had the afternoon. It was early evening and everyone had now arrived at Asuma’s parents’ mountain home. It was a picturesque place, there wasn’t a soul around and it would be the 9 of them alone in the mountains. Asuma unlocked the house while everyone drug luggage to the door. Kakashi had summoned Pakkun who decided it would be a good idea to smell everything outside.

“Oh my god, you’re kidding right?” Anko asked stepping inside the house. It was huge, the ceilings were high and vaulted and it was marvelous. “Asuma this is beautiful.” Anko told him. She noticed the huge stone fireplace in the living room. Iruka, Shizune and Genma fild in behind her. Anko had one bag on her shoulder while Kakashi had the rest of their luggage.

“Hey, let’s decide who’s going in which room and you can unpack there.” Asuma lead everyone up the stairs of the gorgeous mountain home. “This is where Kurenai and I are staying.” It was the master bedroom and it was huge. The house was 2 floors and had seven bedrooms. “Iruka you and Genma can stay here, it has two double beds and I didn’t figure you would want to sleep in the same bed.” Asume continued leading everyone around to all the rooms. Kakashi and Anko were in the bedroom at the opposite end of the hall, it was almost as large as the master but not quite. It was time to unpack.

Asuma left them alone to go help Kurenai.

“Kakashi, this place is the shit!” Anko declared wrapping her arms around him.

“Oh, it is definitely, the shit.” Kakashi kissed her. “Hey, you start unpacking I need to go find my dog. He’s probably in a fight with a raccoon by now.” Kakashi left her alone, but not before ‘accidentally’ running his hand up her thigh. Anko had opened up their suitcases and flung the drawers open of the dresser. It was only then that she noticed they had their own huge bath with a beautiful view. Anko was getting ready to put things away when Kurenai came in.

“Did you pack enough lace, satin and chiffon?” she asked sarcastically looking at Anko’s suitcase full of some of the sluttiest things you’d ever see.

“Not really, but that will have to do for this trip.” Anko answered. “So, have you done it yet?” Anko asked referring to Kurenai’s pregnancy test.

“Not yet…but I’m going to. I wanted you to come with me.” Most girls would feel special and honored if their gal pal had asked them to be beside them while taking a pregnancy test…

“You want me to come watch you pee on a stick?” Anko asked slightly confused and baffled.

“Well, I need you there to read it to me, I don’t want to be the one who reads it.” Anko said.

“Tell you what, it takes 15 minutes before a test can be read, so pee on it, sit it on the sink, I’m going to finish unpacking, then I’m going to get a malt beverage, then I’ll be in the bathroom to read it to you.” Anko told her. Kurenai was satisfied with this answer.

Kakashi returned with Pakkun in his arms. Kakashi put him down in the bedroom and Pakkun found it necessary to run around and sniff everything in the bedroom. Kakashi reached his arms around Kurenai’s waist.

“Hey, I have front row seats to a pregnancy test reading in 15 minutes you want to come?” Anko said sarcastically. Kakashi laughed.

“No, that’s okay. I’m going to the ‘Where do babies come from and how do we make them’ seminar. Kakashi answered her just as straightforwardly.

“Interesting. Take notes for me on that.” Anko turned away from the empty suitcases and put her arms around him. She kissed him deeply. “Come with me to the fridge, there’s alcohol there.” Anko led Kakashi out of their bedroom and down the stairs to the kitchen. Pakkun came running down the stairs only a few moments later. Asuma was building a fire in the massive fireplace and Pakkun made himself at home on the rug. Anko popped the lid off her malt. “So, Asuma, are we cheering for one line or two, I want to make sure I’m on the right team.” Anko said. Asuma laughed.

“Well, one line had a weak defense and two lines I hear has a good strategy.” Asuma said throwing logs into the fireplace. Anko thought a moment.

“I knew you didn’t use a condom and you gave your sperm a map.” Anko left and made her way upstairs. Kurenai was waiting patiently in the bathroom, it was a long fifteen minutes.

Iruka and Gai were downstairs putting ice into an empty cooler, this was the alcohol cooler. They wanted to ice it down so they wouldn’t take up the entire fridge with nothing but booze. Shizune had been instructed to boil water for the jello that would later be jello shots.

“Well?” Kurenai asked watching Anko put her drink down. Anko looked at the stick, then she looked at Anko and looked at the stick.

“One line. You’re not pregnant.” Anko flipped the stick over and showed it to her, then tossed it in the trash can beside her.

“Wait…are you…sure?” Kurenai asked.

“Yeah, why…did you want to be pregnant?”

“Well, maybe I did. But, it’s okay.” Anko smiled and took a long drink. “Come on, you’re not pregnant, that means you can come drink and tell Asuma.” Kurenai smiled and followed Anko back downstairs.
