Is it love?
A certain blonde haired teenager walked down an empty street, staring at the ground as if in deep thought. He stared at the ground as he walked slowly, step by step, as if afraid to miss something. He kept walking until he ran into someone.
"Ouch!" Naruto fell on his ass
"Hey! watch where you're go--Naruto?"
Naruto rubbed his ass unaware the person said anything to him.
'damn! that hurt...'
"OI! NARUTO!"
Naruto was snapped out of his thoughts by a voice he knew all too well.
"Yo Kiba. What's cracking?"
Kiba laughed and pulled Naruto off the ground giving him a friendly hug.
"Nothing now a days, whats up with you? haven't seen ya in a while!"
Naruto laughed at the dog boy's excitment, to see him.
"The same, still gonna be that damn hokage!"
"Tch, keep dreaming kid!"
"I AM!"
Naruto pouted and Kiba just laughed some more. Kiba and Naruto grew to be friends over the years. Wether they planned it or not, they had become best buds since then.
"I believe in ya don't worry. Hey, wanna grab some ramen? my treat."
"You're treating? count me in!"
Kiba and Naruto both laughed at the comment made by the whisker faced boy and continued on to the ramen stand. When They got there, they talked for the most part, and laughed while bringing up memories of four years ago. (A/N: they're all 16 now)
"So Kiba, finally got Hinata eh?"
Kiba blushed only lightly but nodded and smirked
"Yep, and we're expecting a little one real shortly"
"Really?! Congrats pal! I'm proud of ya!"
Naruto gave Kiba a pat on the back as he slurrped up some more of his ramen.
"Thanks man. What about you? Did you get Sakura yet?"
"Nah, I actually gave up a long time ago. it was kind of a..flame y'know?"
"Yea I read ya. Find anyone else?"
"Naah, I'm not much of a looker"
Kiba nearly choked on his noodles. Naruto slapped his back to keep the boy from falling over dead.
"You kidding? You're one hell of a looker. Even I say so!"
Naruto smiled some and continued to eat his ramen. The next 20 minutes went on in silence as both boys slurrped their noodles and burped every now and then. Kiba decided to break the silence, but not with a good one.
"See Sasuke anymore?"
Naruto stopped as if he just got stabbed. He didn't drop his noodles, just sat there, frozen at what Kiba just said. and only one thought was going through his head at the moment.
Sasuke.
"Naruto? hellooooo? Earth to Naruto? Come in Naruto! NARUTO!"
He was snapped out of his trance and looked at Kiba. Kiba was giving him a 'tell-me-whats-going-on-cause-I-know-its-something.
"I..I see Sasuke.."
"Okay, tell me what's the problem."
Was Naruto a mind reader or what?
"Well..we..see eachother..but.."
Kiba looked at Naruto. He figured he was the first person Naruto was going to tell something to him.
"Sasuke..likes to..play..."
"Play?"
"Y-yea...he plays games with me. Games I don't like. I can refuse them just like that! But its something about him! Damn it!! I hate it Kiba, everytime I look at him theres a weird feeling in my stomach like--"
"You love him."
Naruto stared at Kiba.
"What?"
"You love him"
"No, you're wrong"
"Am I? Think about it Naruto, for once just think about it."
Kiba stood and pulled some money out of his pocket and threw it on the table
"Think. Has anyone ever given you that feeling before?"
And with that said, Kiba walked off into the fog. Naruto stared after the descending figure, thinking about two things. Is it love? And when the hell did it get foggy without him noticing? Feeling as if it was going to rain, He got up and walked twords the direction of his house.
~At Naruto's~
What do you know. The minute he walked, it started to pour. Now Naruto sat in a big cozy chair looking out the window as the rain tapped lightly against it. He started to ponder. Is it love? Nobody made him feel that way except the Uchiha. He thought long and hard and decided. He was in love.
In love with a ego crazed bastard.
Naruto looked out the window and his eyes widened. He rubbed them and looked out again.
"Was that?...no..maybe I should take a nap..I'm seeing things"
With that said, he walked to his bedroom and plopped down on the bed.
Outside, on a branch sat a raven haired boy looking into the apartment of a certain kitsune he played little games with.
'going to bed are we? this should be interesting...'

What did you think?!? i worked hard on this and I figured why not have a talke with our favorite dog boy! and I decided to add Sasuke at the end for an onlook on next chapter...have any ideas on whats gonna happen? heehee R&R my lovelys
