A Flower's Depression

Hey Ppl the 2 Chapter is finally here and for those who haven’t caught on yet, the paragraphs that are in parentheses are flashbacks.

“NO, NO, NO WAY IN HELL, GRANNY TSUNADE!!!” The outraged boy in a black and orange jumpsuit screamed in front of the fifth Hokage’s desk with his arms flailing and eyes squeezed shut. The blonde woman behind the desk stood from her seat and leaned as far as she could toward the boy in front of her palms flat barking, “WHAT YOU LITTLE BRAT, I AM THE HOKAGE AND YOU DO WHAT I SAY!!!” After nearly blowing the boy away with her words the woman sat back down in her comfortable cozy desk chair lasing her fingers threw one another. Her head was slightly turned to the side as she stared at the unmoved Nin on the other side of her desk with her honey brown eyes. After a moment of complete silence, the boy slowly turned his head in Tsunade’s direction opening his bright blue eyes to meet hers with his arms now crossed. Another woman watched shaking her head beside the Fifth’s desk. The boy’s eyes read frustration while he awaited Tsunade’s voice.
“Well…” She began, “Naruto didn’t you say you wanted to become Hokage some day.” She smirked as he turned toward her jaw dropped. “Well what would it look like if you didn’t help with a Genin’s training.” Naruto let out a long sigh.
“But Granny Tsunade I…” She cut him off.
“No buts about it, so you will report back after you day of training with Team Konohamaru.” She said in a stern voice leaning back in her seat eyes closed with one finger up.
“Fine.” Naruto said as his last words before heading for the two tall doors behind him.
“Naruto...” The woman called, Naruto stopped in his tracks, “have fun” she snickered. The boy slowly trailed out of the room with the fifth’s word echoing through his head, (Have fun) he thought. (Why do I get stuck training little snot nosed kids, how come Neji or Lee could have done it.)

The sun was high in the sky shining down on small meadow where a kunoichi stood looking at three tree stumps before her. (I remember when I first came here, it was one of our first tasks as Genin) she thought to herself looking down at the sharp blade of short thin blades of grass. (There were two bells that Kakashi-Sensei had that the three of us were to get from him, but the trick was that there were three of us, Me, Sasuke and Naruto. The one who didn’t get a bell would not be able to eat lunch and be tied to one of the sumps. No one would eat until the two bells were retrieved. Sasuke and I both got our bells but Naruto didn’t)

(As Sasuke and Naruto opened there food containers to eat after there hard work, they heard the there allies stomach erupt. They looked at one another and then up at Naruto who was tied to the post between them. Sasuke raise a hand with dumpling in it looking in the other direction avoiding Naruto’s face. Naruto’s eyes lit up with over exaggerated joy as he starred out the food being offered to him. Not to long after Sakura lifted her hand also offering some rations for the teary eyed boy above her. “Kakashi-Sensei did say this exercise was about teamwork.”)
Sakura looked to the sky pushing her fingers threw her silk tway-blade colored hair taking a deep sigh. “Sasuke... Why’d you have to leave?” Sakura said aloud to herself when something in the trees caught her attention. She quickly turned her head but nothing was there. She frowned a bit took another deep breath and sighed once more looking toward the ground, eyes shut.
“Hey billboard brow!” A loud blond girl with long blond hair tied into a ponytail walking from behind Sakura. (INO!!!) Sakura thought to her self with a crazed look on her face. Sakura forced a confident “No it all” kind of smirk on her face before turning around.
“So… How have you been little miss piglet?” Sakura replied facing the curvy girl before her.
“WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME YOU LITTLE…” Ino stopped mid-rage (Something’s wrong with her, that’s not her usual enthusiasm, it kind of seems… forced.) Ino’s face changed from angry to carrying in a matter of seconds, she glanced at the three stumps behind Sakura, (She must be thinking of Sasuke again.) Ino looked back to Sakura seeing that her face had also changed in emotion, her confident smirk had turned to a dull sadness. Sakura looked into her rival and best friend’s eyes. Ino opened her arms and Sakura fell into her, head on her shoulder, “It’s okay Sakura, I’m here.” Ino said in a calm tone looking to blue sky.

“Alright everyone, Sexy Stance!” Naruto shouted pointing in the Genins direction. In a puff of smoke the three children before him all facing opposite directions became three gorgeous nude ladies. One a brunette with long flowing locks, another was a red head wearing pig tails and the other was also a brunette, with short flipped silky hair and a runny nose. There was a dream like cloud surrounding there heavenly body parts.
“UDON!!! A SNOTTY NOSE IS NOT SEXXY!!!” Naruto said enraged as they all lost there transformation. “Now, AGAIN!!!” Right after the three retransformed, Udon still with a snotty nose, a big white haired mad fell out of the tree jaw to the ground, eyes wide and a bloody nose. He was gasping loud and hard at the sight of the three Genin before him. Naruto turned around and screamed, “PERVY SAGE!!!” The three undid there jutsu and Konohamaru asked, “Who is that guy and why is his nose bleeding?”
“What I tell you about calling me that, I am one of the three Sanin, a legendary ninja of Konohagakure.” The tall man spoke quickly jumping to his feet folding his arms trying to look respectable.
“Yeah, yeah, what ever, what are you doing here, I’m kind of in the middle of a mission.” Naruto said disrespectfully, while ignoring Konohamaru.
“Well actually, I was doing some research… No, no, no never mind. I actually had something I needed to tell you but it can wait until you have completed your mission. Meet me at the hot springs when you are finished.”
“I wonder what you’ll be doing there…” Naruto said with his eyes half shut, looking at Jiraiya.
“Relaxing of course.” Jiraiya said trying to hold a straight face. “Well I’ll see you tonight then.” And with that the Toad Sage vanished in a cloud of smoke. Naruto looked back at his Genin and pointed a finger at them and squinted his eyes “NOW, let’s get this right!” He shouted and the rest cheered with him. “Now… SEXXY JUTSU STANCE!!!”

“Choji are you sure you wanna eat all of that pork right before we go train?” the boy asked looking at his companion suck down whole pounds of barbecue pork with out stopping to breathe. “Your so troublesome, what a drag.” He said looking in another direction seeing Sakura and Ino walk in the door. They made there way over to Choji and Shikamaru’s table.
“Damn Choji! You’re eating like you’ve starved yourself the last couple of days.” Ino blurted out on her way to the table.
“Hey Sakura, hey Ino, care to join us?” Shikamaru said in his usual tone, low and exhausted.
“Why how polite of you Shikamaru!” She said aiming a glare at Choji who didn’t even look up from his plate to greet them. He paid Ino no attention. Sakura sat down next to Shikamaru who had long been finished with his meal and Ino sat on Choji’s side of the booth. Sakura was still looking kind of gloomy.
“What’s wrong with you?” Shikamaru tried to sound sympathetic, it didn’t really work though. Ino shot a sharp glance over at him and he backed off. Sakura didn’t hear him anyway; she was deep in thought about “Him”.
“So what did you guys do today?” Ino asked trying to get a conversation going when Choji finally came up from his now empty bowl to breathe. His face was covered in barbecue sauce.
“Hey Sakura, Ino when did you two get hear?” He asked innocently. Ino shook her head and ignored the question. “What’s wrong with her?” Choji asked looking in Sakura’s direction.
“She’s just a little depressed that’s all.” Ino sighed looking at her friend. Well we’re about to go train, you gonna join us?” Choji asked.
“No, I think I’m going to stay with Sakura for a while, ‘till she feels a little better.” Ino said sighing.
“Well then I guess we’ll see you later.” Shikamaru said in his raspy tone.
“Alright, bye.” Ino waved as they made there way out of the other side of the booth and to the door. (Sakura when are you going to get over him and realize he’s not coming back.)

“Neji! Wait up.” a girl no older than 16 said running to the tall long haired male. The boy stopped but did not turn around, he stayed silent. “Hey Neji what’s up, where you headed to.” She said catching her breath as they continued walking.
“Just out on a walk.” He replied in a low deep voice.
“Mind if I join you.” She asked with sparkles in her light brown eyes.
“No.”
“Good, so how have you been I haven’t talk to you in a while.” She said cheerfully.
“Fine, nothing special has happened.”
“What’s it like now that you’re a Jounin?” She chuckled
“It’s nice to be looked at with more respect…” He paused and stopped walking, his eyes shifted to the left looking into the trees.
“Neji, what is it?” Her tone changed to serious as she starred the same direction as he.
“It’s nothing.” He said continuing to walk. He glanced once more over in the direction to the trees with a slight frown upon his face. (My eyes were not mistaken) he thought to himself as they made there way down the long straight road.

“Naruto.” A low voice spoke. Naruto turned his face from his bowl of ramen to find Hinata and Kiba with Akamaru standing behind him.
“Hey Boss, who are these guys?” Konohamaru spoke for his whole team looking at Naruto.
“Oh, my bad, this is Kiba and his dog Akamaru…” Naruto explained pointing at the boy with the sharp eyes and teeth and his pony sized dog. “And this is Hinata.” He said looking at the girl blushing with the long black hair and glazed eyes. “Kiba, Hinata this is Konohamaru, Moegi and Udon.” He named them in the order that they sat. “I was just treating my team to Ramen, you guys wanna join us?” Kiba and Hinata sat down in the two chairs beside Naruto and his gang.
“Since when do you have a team Naruto?” Kiba asked laughing.
“Since my mission for today required me to have one.” Naruto said like a smart ass. Kiba’s laugh came to an instant holt as him and Naruto came to a competitive stare down. Hinata was sitting between the two
“Naruto… Kiba please stop.” She said in her usual timid voice and as she did they broke the there stare and turned there heads in opposite directions with their arms folded and their eyes shut with there noses in the air. Hinata giggled. Konohamaru watched in amazement. (Boss sure can be weird sometimes.) He thought.

The sun was beginning to set sending off magnificent colors that bounced off the white clouds in the sky different shades of pink to purple and blue. Sakura was standing in the middle of the stone road with her head bowed.

(“Are you sure you’re going to be okay by yourself?” Ino asked sincerely across the table from Sakura.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine. I’m just going to go on a little walk before I head home.” Sakura said throwing on a fake smile.”)

Sakura lifted her head and looked at the bench laid up against the rock wall. Where and Sasuke shared one of there first moments and let out another sigh as the soft wind blew though her soft hair.

(“Man Naruto is really annoying, don’t you think Sasuke?” Sakura stated.
“…” Sasuke was looking out into the bright sky. Sakura went on “All he ever douse is talk and get in the way, but I guess that’s how you end up when you don’t have a family.” She stated. Sasuke came out of the clouds and looked down at the ground. She stopped talking, she was reading his body language and it read hurt. He lifted his head and parted his lips to say, “You’re annoying.” In a low tone and walk off leaving her to contemplate what she had said.)
Sakura’s breath hastened as she thought about her past. She watched as the sun began to set behind the mountains. She bowed her head again.

(“Sasuke where are you going?” Sakura asked holding an empty fist close to her heart. The moon was fool and bright over The Land of Fire that night.
“…” He stopped in his tracks, but did not answer. Sakura stepped forward taking a deep breath.
“You’re going with him aren’t you?” She questioned him though she already knew the answer. She looked at the ground thinking of her next desperate words. It stayed silent for a moment. Sasuke began walking again.
“Take me with you!” Sakura shouted as her eyes watered up, Sasuke stopped once more.

Sakura watched as the sun dropped behind the mountains and the sky got dark, she watched as the stars come out and the birds flew home.

(“Take me with you Sasuke, I’ll get stronger, I’ll protect you with my life, Just don’t leave me, don’t leave me here all by myself. I need you Sasuke. Sasuke I LOVE YOU.” She shouted, Sasuke remained untouched. “I love you… My life isn’t complete with out you in it. Take me with you.” Tears were flooding her eyes.
“You really are annoying…” Sasuke said and then continued his journey toward the Sound village. Sakura’s head began to fall when she heard Sasuke whisper “Thank You Sakura.” From behind her.)

Sakura’s concentration broke and her head flew up, she began breathing heavily. She felt the feat of another behind her, her eyes welled up in tears as she recognized the presents of the being behind her.
“Thank You Sakura…” The male’s voice whispered in her ear.
