Chapter 2
Trip to the school.

"Naruto, we leave in 20 minutes, get up!" He heard Iruka yell at him through the door. Naruto grumbled from the last few bangs.

"Ok." Was his mumbled reply. Groaning he rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling. He missed everyone back in the cloud village. Well atleast he had something to look forward too. One of his friends would be moving here aswell. Apperently there family felt the same way as Iruka did, something about running with that gang would have us dead in a few years.

Desiding to get out of bed before Iruka came banging on the door again, he grabbed fresh cloths and a towel, before going into the bathroom for a quick shower. A few minutes later, wearing his custom black cargos, and a black tight t-shirt with red flames on the sleeves, he sat down at the kitchen table, to eat the instant ramen that Iruka had prepared for him.

The older man was dressed in a white button up shirt, brown slacks, and his hair pulled into a tight ponytail on the top of his head. Naruto didn't understand why Iruka always wore his hair that way, it was just too girly, but atleast with the help from the cut across the bridge of his nose, it helped to cancel out the hair.

"Naruto you need to set your alarm clock, starting tomorrow. I'll be leaving early in the morning so that I can prepare for my classes, and I don't think you'll want to be leaving earlier then you will need to." Iruka said with a smile, as he finished cleaning up the kitchen. Naruto only nodded as he finished the last bit of his food.

"Alright, ready to go?" Iruka questioned as he watched Naruto get rid of his garbage.

"Yup, just about." Pulling out the black and red bandana that he had put in his back pocket, he tied it around his left forearm. Even though he wasn't with the group anymore, he would still be the leader since no one had attempted to challange his position, so he choose to wear it out of respect. Looking up he figured that the older man noticed his current atire.

"Don't you think you could get rid of the bandana and eye contacts atleast? And maybe we should go shopping for you, get you some new cloths." You could hear the hope in the mans voice.

Naruto gave him a sly smile, "Nope, I like my cloths, the bandana included, and the eye contacts will stay. Be happy I don't wear them when it's just you and me." It was his way of showing that he cared about Iruka, by letting him see his blue eyes, even if only for a few hours before they went to sleep. "Plus," He continued. "It's not like I'll be wearing much of my own cloths due to the school uniforms."

Iruka could here the distaste in the younger mans words, causing him to frown. "Alright but so that we aren't late, we'll be driving there." He said as he slipped on his shoes and grabbed his keys that were hanging up. Naruto just nodded and did the same. They weren't far from the school, he just figured that Iruka didn't want too many people to see him like this. Naruto had to mentally shake his head. Iruka wasn't like that, he cared about him and didn't care what other people thought about him. He tried to be more himself with the man, after everything he did, but at times it was hard.

As they got into the car, Naruto lit up a smoke, only to be scolded by Iruka. "Naruto, you should really quit. You won't be able to go between classes for a smoke."

Naruto blew out some smoke before looking over at the man and smiling. "I agreed to go to classes for you, that would include not skipping between to go for a smoke unless it becomes to much to handle. Even if I did, I would only be bout 10 minutes late to class, but anyways, I'm not ready to quit yet." Apperently Iruka was satisfied with that answer for the time being because the rest of the ride was riden in silence. Iruka always believed that the radio was a distraction, so Naruto could only turn it on when he was the one driving.

When they arrived at the school, Naruto was suprised to see so many cars parked outside. 'For a monday morning, there were a lot of peole here.' He just summed it up to the fact that at his old school, he rarely attended, same with many of the other students, plus most lived close enough to just walk, or bus.

He was starting to wonder how many of his old aquantances would actually go to an all boys school. As they went through the entrance, he watched as the last few people hurried into their classes, minus the few who seemed rather sluggish. "Tsuande agreed it wuld be better to come once homeroom started, this way your presence wouldn't be a distraction to the students," was the sudden comment from Iruka.

Naruto smirked to himself. He knew all too well what kind of distraction he tended to be. Most people back in Cloud either feared him, saying if he added ears and a tail he looked like a fox, or wanted to be him, why he still didn't understand. With how uptight this school sounded he would say it would be fear or instant dislike, either way, he didn't care.

As they made their way through the now empty halls, the silence was only broken by the sound of their footsteps, before they stopped outside the door with a sign that read 'MAIN OFFICE'. He glanced over at Iruka and saw the worry on the older mans face, before he took a deep breathe, and on the release he put on one of his best smiles. Desiding to make it one less thing for him to worry about, and one less thing for Tsunade to yell at him for, he put on one of his big foxy grins, as they entered the office.

Apon entery it looked rather plain, like every other office Naruto had entered into. Electronics on the side for the PA system, a telephone, computer, and some one sitting behind the counter going through papers. The woman had shoulder length black hair, and blue and white stripped shirt, with a blue skirt. She smiled and went to say a greeting to Iruka before she caught sight of Naruto as he finished closing the door behind himself, causing her to sputter.

The women tried again after clearing her throat. "Hello... Uh..I don't mean to be rude or anything but who are you and why are you here?" She said staring hard at Naruto. 'Well guess she got herself back in control.' Naruto thought to himself.

Iruka desided to speak up instead, fearing Naruto would do or say something to have the young women running out of the room, even though glancing at Naruto, he was suprised that his foxy grin didn't already have her running. 'I wonder if he knows just how scary that grin can look sometimes.' Clearing his throat he said, "Hello I am the new teacher, and this is Naruto, he will be attending here, starting tomorrow. We have a meeting with Tsunade."

The women nodded in understanding. "Yes, she mentioned something, just have a seat. She had to step out for a second, but she'll be back shortly. I'm Shizune by the way." Iruka nodded and sat down, while Naruto opted to lean against the wall, hands in his pockets with a bored expression.

They didn't have to wait long before a woman with long blond hair came through the door mummbeling to herself about stupid students. She was dressed in a casual stripped suit, with too much of her cleavage showing. Naruto always wonder if there was even a shirt out there that could cover the giant chest of hers.

"Ah, Iruka! Good to see you, hope I didn't keep you waiting." She smiled at the brunette, stopping to have the little exchange. "Follow me." She turned to lead him to her office. "Had to deal with some kids that needed to be put in there place, speaking of which... Brat!" She said stopping infront of Naruto, getting his attention from the wall across from him. "So what am I expected to call you, now that your back in your home town. Kyuubi? Naruto? Maybe even Naru-chan?" She smiled wickedly, reminding him why he liked to avoid this women, as he tried to not growl at her comment. She could be very evil at times, even worse then himself.

"Just Naruto will be fine."

"Fine, 'Just Naruto'. I'll let your teachers know." She chuckled as she turned back to Iruka and whispered, "Give it a few months, he'll be our Naru-chan once again." She walked the last few feet to her office and waved them in, closing the door behind her. "Have a seat boys." She pointed to the chairs infront of her desk, before taking her own seat on the other side. She begand to shuffling through some papers, and after seeming to find whatever folder she was looking for she finally looked back up at them. "Now that we have had our pleasentries, lets get this boring stuff done and over with."

Ok so please don't kill me for having this one short. I wanted to get the second chapter out to you, that and if i kept it with the third it would have ruinded my fun for the next chapter... but on a good note, this get exciting in the 3rd chapter, I should have it finished and posted in only a few days.

Blood Stained Butterfly: Who Naruto is going to be paired with is to be a suprised. Suspense! As for use, I only noticed after I read your reply that I didn't comment, Naruto is 17. For the purpose of this story, they 'group' are all 17 unless for the few that I will state why they are 18 because they turned ealier in the year? Lol. Yup that what I am going with. I am glad that you are enjoying the story so far.

and Nusku thank you for comment, it makes me a little more confident about this story.
