Chapter 2
Settling In & Changes

Once we packed and said our goodbyes to Ketsu & Aioshi-sama, we were lead to a pack of finely bred horses. We each took our own, having trouble but picking up the skill quickly. “I’m surprised that you all never rode a horse before, Aioshi used to love riding, maybe we shall invite them to Konoha after your training?” asked Mother(we were told to call her that from now on). “I think we would enjoy that very much.” Iruka replied. The rest of us were too scared of her to really speak up. We rode well into the evening before we stopped and made a small camp for the night. We were divided into groups: the girls on duty now, and us on second duty, Mother claimed she needed her rest. So we went to sleep and around 3am we were awoken to take our shift. We set up to keep watch. There were rogues who liked to kidnap and steal, so we had to watch our backs. Around right before sunset everyone got up, and we decided to eat breakfast and bathe quickly to get back on the road.
Our trip continued that way for about 2 and a half more days, along the way we all saw sights we had never seen before, animals we were unaware of. The whole while the women would laugh and smile at us, they were nice and some of us got close to some of the girls. One night we saw them in action and it wasn’t pretty, they would kill without remorse. The next morning Naruto questioned “How could you all kill those men like that, doesn’t it make you feel guilt?” “No, after what we have seen happen to women and children in our old villages people like them don’t deserve chances.” Hinata shocked the group by speaking so promptly. It was never brought back up but it stayed on their minds. On the other hand they used the time to get to know things about each other and had fun.
However, nothing could prepare us for the sight of the City of Konoha, “It’s good that we got here at night, it is much more beautiful”, said Tsunade. We were all then led to a huge house that read “ The Cherry Blossom” in Pink and Turquoise Neon, designed with Sakura Blossoms. This was our Okiya now, our home. Inside it was like your dreams come true, silk, feathers, gold, diamonds, pearls, velvet, leather, were glimpses of when we passed by, we were being led through and out to a trail that was lightened by traditional Japanese lamps, out into a bamboo forest.
“OH MY GOD”, said Iruka, “WOW”, said Kiba & Neji, “IT’S BEAUTIFUL”, said Haku & Chouji, “DAMN”, I said. As we entered the clearing before our eyes stood a smaller home, Japanese styled, the walk to the house was over a lake, on a wooden bridge. The front of the house was entranced by two ponds with koi fish. When we entered it was a traditional Japanese home more beautiful than any heard of. As we toured the house we found it to be huge. The first floor composed of a kitchen, a den, a living room, a tea room, a dining room and an entertainment room which had tea tables and lounge chairs arranged around a stage with special lights. Set up along the stage were various instruments from drums to flutes. The up stairs consisted of 7 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. Each bedroom consisted of a king futon bed, a walk-in wardrobe, a make-up station a dresser and a screen. Each bathroom had a glass shower, a Jacuzzi tub, a private toilet, a urinal, and a counter with a waterfall sink.
The only things missing were personal belongings, groceries, and clothes. At our old home we didn’t have much. So Tsunade and Iruka spoke about shopping while we picked out our rooms, each room was decorated differently and we all picked a room that corresponded with our personalities. We picked out the biggest room for Iruka, it had the theme of peace and serenity, colored in light greens and blues. Kiba’s room was in tones of brown, and had paw prints of wolves themed throughout. Neji’s room was in tones of white and black, with the theme of Yin & Yang. Haku was the most feminine among us and loved the color pink, so his room was the room themed in sakura blossoms. Chouji didn’t really have any preferences but we picked out the room closest to the kitchen for him, he wasn’t really big, he just loved to eat. Anyway, his room was a lilac and ivory themed room. My room was themed in the feared fox that attacked the village of Konoha, hues of orange and red ran through. The guest room was a room colored with blues and themed with the ocean.
When we went back downstairs, the girls were preparing to leave and Tsunade and Iruka was done speaking. They said their goodbye’s and Iruka led us to the den. “Well, I hope you boys end up liking it here, I mean this is a change of life and maybe we will find someone like Aioshi-sama did. We are currently maiko, I know you don’t know what they are but now I will explain it to you. We are not concubines, boyfriends, husbands, prostitutes or whores. We are simply trying to become geisha, we entertain, we supply whatever our clients need, whether it be pleasure or friendship. Clients pay for our company, and until we sell our mizuagi we are maiko, afterwards we become full pledged geisha. We will wear kimono, style our hair, and wear make-up. When we go out in daytime we are ourselves, however we must remember to honor the okiya by carrying ourselves with honor. Last but not least we will be uke, more than likely our clients will be male. We are Tsunade-sama’s prized possessions right now so, we shall make her proud. Tomorrow we go shopping, for clothes, kimonos, accessories, make-up, even shoes. Starting day after tomorrow we will be having lessons to become worthy of our appearance in tea houses, we will all have our introduction in a theater where we will be performing. That is all for tonight, we should eat now.”
“I‘m quite nervous about all of this but, maybe .. I will find someone ne?”, said Chouji. “Of course all of us will, let‘s just have fun, kay.” replied Haku “That’s easy for you to say I don’t believe I can be very submissive.” Naruto complained. “Ha ha ha ha ha ha yeah right Naruto I say that too, right?!” Kiba exclaimed. “Sorry to burst your bubbles guys but we are most likely going to be U K E .” Neji answered for Iruka. Twin choruses of “NNNNNONOOOONONOOONONOOOOO” could be heard.
We then decided to get something to eat from the main house since we didn’t have any food yet, when we heard a samisen playing. We looked into the music room to see a blonde playing, he was playing wonderfully, but Iruka pushed us to the kitchen saying something about being impolite. When we got to the kitchen no one was there so Chouji volunteered to cook. We all sat at the island and waited, he was really a wonderful cook, and our stomachs began to rumble from the amazing smells. When he finished we had miso ramen, cucumber, wasabi & rice, & salmon sushi along with some dango, He also served up some tea.
We were all pretty hungry so it didn’t take long for us to finish up eating. Iruka then rushed us back to the house and told us to go and take baths, while he cleaned up. We all went into our separate baths and cleaned up. Being so tired from the traveling we all just went to sleep as soon as we were done into a blissful dream, thinking about what was to come.
