Everlasting
 

She never raised her voice, she never got angry she took everything in stride and often suppressed her emotions. This was unlike her. Hinata's fist were balled at her sides she grit her teeth and stared at the pair with anger clear in her eyes. "Stop it! Stop c-crying!"

Team seven was team seven and team eight had no right interfering.

This was not her place.

This was not their place.

It seemed that even kiba knew that. Kiba had stayed outside. Shino closed his eyes behind his large dark glasses. He never expected this from Hinata though.

Naruto sat on the hospital bed. He was bandaged in several places the white blanket pulled up to his waist his blue eyes seemed dead and weary. Sakura sat in his arms. Both had tear streaked faces, the girl looked gaunt and tired her green eyes had lost all of their luster.

Sakura turned toward the heiress with a fierce glare the tears running in torrents down her face as she sobbed. "YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW! NO ONE HAS EVER JUST LEFT YOU I BET!"

Hinata shook her head and stepped further into the room. Her pearly eyes shone with a strength that no one had seen before. "More people have left me than I can count on my hands. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't measure up to what they expected. That was my fault, but you two are suffering needlessly for a selfish self important child for something that has nothing to do with either of you!"

"SASUKE SAI-"

"SASUKE MADE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR THAT HE HAD NO INTENTION OF PUTTING ANYONE BEFORE HIMSELF! THAT INCLUDES BOTH OF YOU!" hinata's thin brows drew together as she steadied her breath.

"You don't know him..."

Hinata almost burst into tears when naruto's cold angry gaze turned on her. "Who do you think took him in after they massacred his family? My own family. I was besides him when he was about to crumble to pieces when he wished Itachi had taken his life too. when he as twelve is when he moved back in to the Uchiha compound. Those red eyes have only tunnel vision, until he's killed itachi everything else comes second."

Naruto was quiet. Sasuke never mentioned anything about the Hyugas. To think of it all he ever told naruto was that he wanted to kill his brother and why. Nothing else. She could have been telling a lie.

Before he could think of anything to say sakura had already lashed out at Hinata. Sakura swung at the other girl but missed Hinata's distance was her saving grace."He never said anything about that besides why would he stay with another clan? it makes no sense."

The heiress pursed her lips together and glared at the sorry state the two had been reduced to. "He is engaged to me, the choice was made before we were born. So it was deemed proper by sandime Hokage and so he stayed until he was old enough to leave."

Sakura looked devastated when hinata closed her mouth. Naruto closed his eyes slightly the tears that he cried dripped down his chin and landed on sakura's face where they mixed with hers. "We'll wait he'll kill itachi and come back... then we'll-"

Hinata had enough by now. This was painful seeing the one she admired most in tears over a self-centered bastard was more than she could take. she wiped away their tears with her own hands and sighed. "Sauke left you both to sit here while he goes to play avenger. He wanted one thing he never cared about who got hurt... He's always been that way." Tears began too work down her own cheeks as she whispered. "Fine if you wait, but why not turn to me... I was always here... i still am... I'm not leaving. I wouldn't leave..."

Sakura slapped her hand away and then pushed Hinata farther from the bed. She covered her last remaining teammate's body with her own as if she was shielding him from something. Naruto looked on with dulled eyes not speaking or moving. "You will not take his place!" sakura roared through her constant sobs.

Shino watched the two girls stare off with one another. one pair of eyes filled with anger and the other filled with frenzied panic. This was where it ended. "Hinata come le-"

"NO!" she snapped with out looking at him.

Shino nodded and turned around this definitely had nothing to do with him.

"You heard him, LEAVE!" the pink haired ninja snarled.

"No! Why wont you consider it? Am i not good enough! I can do what he couldn't i have so much more to offer!" Hinata stormed over to the bed and pushed sakura on to it her body pressing against the other girls as she held the girls hands still. as hinata pulled back sakura didn't move green eyes ere locked on opal eyes blue lock on the pair of teenager girls. "I can fufiil any wish you have. I can bear you sons and daughters give you the power and support you need to become hokage or even the best world renowned medic. I am the heiress of a noble clan... nothing is out of reach for you..."

Naruto gave a piteous look to Hinata. "Don't lie to us we ha-"

Hinata unzipped the tanned hoodie she wore and pulled it off. she pulled off her mesh shiirt and the tank top over her head. She stood in just her bra and pants. Her obscenely large breast showing rising and falling with each breath she took as tears ran down her face. "I'm bearing myself entirely to you... no lies... just me..."
