Of Magic and Ninjas

Itachi awoke with a groan then noticed that he was yet again being held by Kisame.
"..... not again... if this keeps up...."
Itachi slipped out of Kisame's arms and quickly dressed and left the room in an obviously foul mood. He stormed into the kitchen and started cooking. Kisame followed him keeping a safe distance. Even if he had been fully healed he wasn't ready to let Itachi out of his sight. He just didn't want to get hit. Back at the Akatsuki There had been a Tobi sized hole in the dojo wall where he had pissed Itachi off. His strength seemed to increase with his temper no doubt do to chakra enhancement and he didn't want to find out just how much of an increase it was. Itachi grabbed a plate and sat down to eat glaring at Kisame Who got himself something and sat down across from him. A large owl flew in scaring the crap out of Kisame and dropped a envelope on the table. Itachi snatched it up and read it carefully.
"Kisame after we finish we are leaving. Our help has been requested and I would rather like to find out who knows that I am still alive."
Kisame nodded, his mouth too full for him to speak and Itachi just shook his head and continued eating, and Itachi grabbed a scroll and a pen and wrote out his reply then handed it to the owl. The owl took off out the window and quickly dissapeared from veiw.

A phoenix flew in and landed on Dumbledore's desk and dropped down two letters.
"Ahh Fawks I see you brought their replies."
He tore open both letters and read them one after another, his smile growing bigger after each one.
"It looks like we may stand a chance now after all."
He stroked his phoenix then picked up his quill. Preparations for his guests had to be made after all.

Naruto pounded on Sasuke's door for a good five minuetes before walking in. He knew Sasuke would be mad at him but Tsunade wanted them both as soon as possible and Sasuke wouldn't answer his door. He vaguely remembered where Sasuke's room was from a previous visit so he started heading in that direction. He stopped at one particular door with Sasuke's clan symbol on it and walked in expecting to see Sasuke in there. Instead he was greeting with a room done up entirely in black with a thick layer of dust over everything. He walked further in, curious now about what may be in this room. The room had shuriken and kunai scatted in various places with a few sticking out of the walls and there was some clothing tossed on the bed. It looked like nothing had been touched in years. Naruto walked over to the desk and saw a plain unmarked black book on it and cleared the dust off of it. He opened it up and scanned the first page and his eyes widened when he realized what it was. He had found Itachi's diary. He smirked mischeviously and picked it up wondering if he could find something that he could use to cheer Sasuke up. Naruto pulled out the chair and started reading, finding nothing of interest he started skimming over the pages until something caught his eye. His eyes got wider with each page he read, and by the time he reached the end he knew exactly why. Sasuke had to know, he tucked the diary under his arm and ran down the hall.
"SASUKE!!!!!! SASUKE!!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!"
Sasuke opened his door slamming it against the wall.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT DOBE!!!"
Naruto shoved Itachi's diary in his face.
"You have got to read this!! It's..."
Sasuke snatched it from him glaring.
"This was Itachi's. You went in his room. Why were you snooping around?"
"I was looking for you. You overslept, but still you have to read it! I marked the page that you should read from. Itachi.. killed your family for a good reason."
Sasuke glared at Naruto again but walked back into his room, sat on his bed and started reading if only to shut Naruto up. By the time he was done he was fighting back tears and stood up. Sasuke muttered to himself.
"I can't believeit.. That was the truth.."
"What? you were muttereing I didn't hear you?
"Why else were you here?"
"Oh that's right!! We are getting a special mission today! We should hurry up before it is given to someone else!"
Sasuke got dressed not caring that Naruto was watching him and ran out with Naruto on his heals. They were standing in front of Tsunade within minutes.
"It took you two long enough. The details of your mission are in this envelope. Read them and then get ready to go. It's going to be a long mission. It is possible that you will be gone for a couple years so make any arrangement necessary and then report back here as soon as possible so I can send you two off."
Sasuke and Naruto dissapeared quickly to do what they were told.
