You May Kiss Your Uke

Now Pronounced Sasuke and Naruto Uchmaki

Chapter 2

Naruto’s hand felt a bit clammy, Sasuke noted after awhile of holding his soon to be husband’s hand as they walked down the road toward the True Love Chapel. Naruto was walking a bit behind his lover. Though hands clasped firmly, he was very nervous and hoped they would marry them even though they were only fifteen. Sasuke said the proper age was fifteen, that meant there should be nothing to worry about.

“So, how far did you say the chapel was again?” the blond haired fox boy wondered, looking at the back of Sasuke’s shiny black head. He squinted his eyes, the sun was very bright it had to have been high noon and there were no clouds in the sky. He then looked down at the green grass they had been walking over, hoping that would help his blue eyes some.

Sasuke stopped his walking and turned to look at Naruto over his left shoulder. “I told you, it's about a four mile walk; we will get there by four pm.” Naruto nodded, not looking where he was going, running right into the back of Sasuke.

“Oof,” Naruto grunted. He fell back, taking Sasuke with him. Sasuke landed on top of Naruto, who was now nestled into the cool grass on his back. Sasuke was cozy between Naruto’s legs. “Eh he-he,” Naruto giggled. “Sorry, Sasuke.” Naruto blushed, making him look very cute.

Before, if Naruto had done something like this when they first started dating, Sasuke probably would have called him all kinds of names. Instead he just kissed the silly boy since they were in a good position to. “It's okay, just watch where you're walking from now on, love.”

“Oh I will, don’t worry. I'm sorry, it's just it kind of sucks we have to walk all this way, you know?” Naruto gave his thoughts on the whole walking thing as he shielded his eyes, since the sun was now beaming down into them.

“Hmm, are you being lazy?” Sasuke wondered, running a hand over Naruto’s smooth cheek.

“Not as lazy as you, cause you haven’t even gotten off of me yet. So you're probably pretty cozy, huh?” Naruto smirked up at the sexy, dark haired boy on top of him.

Sasuke shook his head and gave him one more kiss, then pushed himself up and helped Naruto stand as well. ”No, I was just enjoying laying on top of you.” He brushed off the back of Naruto’s orange, cotton t-shirt with a black stripe through the center. He was wearing blue jeans and, of course, his black ninja shoes. “I’ll show you how lazy I am... if you want to hitch a ride?” Sasuke offered his sexy blonde lover, bending down some.

“Alright, if you want me to,” Naruto sighed and hopped on, acting like he wasn’t sure. But he didn't mind a ride... He wrapped his legs around his lover's waist and draped his arms over his shoulder. Naruto loved Sasuke’s wild scent; he laid his head on Sasuke’s shoulder.

Sasuke walked on. Naruto wasn’t too much wait to carry, and he didn’t mind having him on his back like this, lest it stop him from falling down again. Sasuke looked ahead of him; down the dirt road on either side of him was the forest leading back to the Hidden Leaf Village, which was now two miles away. There was a brilliant blue sky, the tree’s leaves blowing in a breeze that brushed past. It seemed quiet except for the rustling of the leaves.

Sasuke finally made the last two miles there. The little chapel was on the right hand side of the road. Set between two cheery trees, the paneling was painted a light blue, the walk leading up to it was white cement, so were the two steps leading to the light brown, arching doors; and the steps had railings on either side, silver tied with white ribbons.

Naruto slid off Sasuke’s back as they both stood at the path toward the door. On either side of the walkway, the grass looked even greener with the white walk. Not too far down on the left hand side of the street, diagonal from the chapel, was an inn where couples could honey-moon.

The boys were more focused at the moment on the light brown doors. Naruto squeezed Sasuke’s hand, wondering what his lover was thinking.

“Well, my love, you ready?” It startled Naruto a bit to hear Sasuke speaking, since it had been so quiet.

“Yes, I 'm ready. Lets go.” Naruto waited for Sasuke to move forward, and once he moved, Naruto followed down the path as Sasuke walked up the two steps to the Chapel, placing his right hand on the silver door knob. He pressed the wooden doors open, and they were surprised to see how beautiful it was in the chapel.

The sun shining through the stained glass windows gave the arched ceiling a colorful look, as if rainbows were dancing on the ceiling. There were four white pews on either side of the aisle that had a white carpet running down the center of the hard wood floor.

There were white and blue and pink flowers hanging in baskets by the arching windows. There were four windows running along either wall. Their eyes fell on the platform where an organ sat in the right hand corner. There was a fancy podium carved out of wood and painted white.

There were some steps leading down, to the left hand side of the stage. They heard foot steps, then saw a black haired older man appear. He had streaks of grey running down both sides of his head. He looks up as he came up the last step. “Oh, hello. Can I help you two?” He had a friendly voice. He was dressed in nice, brown slacks and a blue, button down shirt with short sleeves.

Sasuke nodded, stepping forward. “Yes, we would like to get married,” Sasuke said simply enough, looking back at Naruto.

“Aw, very good indeed, when would you like this honored moment to take place? Of course, I’ll need to know your names and ages first. I am Mr. Winerie, I happen to be the one who does the weddings,” the man said with a bright smile, putting his hand out to shake Sasuke’s.

“I am Sasuke Uchiha and this is Naruto Uzumaki. I am fifteen, and so is my boyfriend.” He answered the man’s questions, shaking his hand with his free hand. Then, the man shook Naruto’s hand as well, to be polite.

“Very good,” Mr. Winerie approved. “So when do you want this said wedding to take place?” he wondered out loud, putting his hands in his pockets.

“Well, I want to know how much it will cost us first,” Sasuke asked. He couldn’t say yes without knowing if he had the money to pay for the marriage.

“Well, that all depends on how much you want to put into it. If you have your own decorating ideas, if you're going to have a reception for friends...” Mr. Winerie named these off on the fingers of his right hand.

“Well, honestly, we want to get married today,” Naruto spoke up. Sasuke was surprised. He was wanting to get married right that day, since he just asked him to marry him yesterday!

“Oh, I understand. Well, for an eloper it will cost you one hundred dollars, and that is all, since you're not having any guests or decorations. If you want to be married today, that is fine. I can print you out a marriage certificate in an hour. That can give you two enough time to buy something nice to wear if you wish,” Mr. Winerie informed them and looked to Sasuke, who seemed to be the one with the final say.

Sasuke thought this wouldn’t be too bad, thus he agreed. They waited the hour and went into the nearby village to rent themselves some nice suits.

Wearing them, they returned around six thirty pm. Mr. Winerie had gotten everything set up, and the organ started playing the wedding march as soon as the boys re-entered the chapel.

Naruto was wearing a white three piece suit with a white bow tie, silver buttons, and nice white shoes to go with it. His golden hair was still sticking up on his head, but seemed to be brushed. Sasuke looked at his husband to be and thought he was the most beautiful angel fox ever. He felt like kissing him at the entrance before getting to the front to be married.

Sasuke was dressed in a dark blue three piece suite and wore shiny black shoes, the buttons silver. He held tightly to Naruto’s hand. Sasuke had bought them two gold, ten K wedding bands. He gave Naruto one to hold in his pocket. Sasuke looked up at Mr. Winerie, who nodded to him, saying he was ready for the two.

Sasuke took Naruto’s right hand and squeezed it, both looking into each other's shining eyes, deep caring blue to loving black. Then, at the same time, they turned their heads and walked down the aisle together and stopped when Mr. Winerie put his hand up for them to. Mr. Winerie went through the vows, then came the major question: what would their last name be?

Both Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other, thinking this over for a minute. “How about Uchmaki?” Naruto suggested to Sasuke, running his thumbs over Sasuke’s knuckles. They were both overly excited, but it sounded like a very good name.

“I love it,” Sasuke said with a sweet smile. He kisses Nartuo’s knuckle, causing him to blush. Sasuke then looked back to Mr. Winerie to go on. Sasuke’s heart was pounding now, waiting for him to seal everything with these last few words.

Naruto held Sasuke’s hands, looking into his beautiful face. He felt warm pricks at his eyes and was trying not to cry. When he blinked, the tears ran over his sweet face.

Sasuke thought he looked even more sweet with the tears, then felt his own eyes water. At that moment, all he could see was Naruto. Then he was finally brought back to the chapel from his thoughts with Mr. Winerie’s wonderful words; he had a voice that was deep and captured his attention.

“I now pronounce you Sasuke and Naruto Uchmaki. You may kiss and go in peace now, with these vows as life partners.” Mr. Winerie smiled, patting them both on the back.

Sasuke didn’t have to be told twice, and he stepped forward, wrapping both arms around Naruto’s waist and pulling him in. He pressed his lips to Naruto’s trembling ones, his eyes closed as they kissed. It was all so wonderful. He felt Naruto’s hands wandering over his own back.

They would be in love forever. They both whispered this together in their minds as they kissed now as husbands.

There was so much more road to travel now that they were married. So many new adventures lay in wait for the Uchmakis. Naruto and Sasuke couldn’t wait to find out what lay ahead on the road next.

For now, they thanked Mr. Winerie and paid the hundred dollars. It was now past sun down, and both lovers were eager for their wedding night.

They crossed the road, going toward the Cherry Blossom Inn, nestled between a green forest. The Inn looked warm and inviting. It had four stories, and the windows in the main room below were still lit, also a few lights on here and there in windows on other floors let out a warm glow onto the dimming evening. The inn had a Western feel to it, with brown shutters on the windows and little cacti growing in the flower beds on either side of the porch that had old wagon wheels leaning under the windows. There were also two chimneys with smoke curling from them. There were two steps leading up to the porch. There were two large, wooden doors with glass windows that had the name of the inn written across it in white, standing firmly shut. A sign also told the times that the inn opened and closed. The door handles were golden and curled. Naruto put his right hand on the door knob and turned it, and the door creeked open a bit.

Sasuke and Naruto felt warm and cozy right away when they stepped in and shut the door behind them. The attendants looked friendly too.

The lobby was very warm and inviting, with two lit fireplaces at the back walls that you saw right when you walked in. There were two sofas in front of the fireplaces. The floor was a light brown, hard wood floor, hand stitched rugs laid across it, some looking to be made of yarn while others were cloth. One looked to be made out of rope. They were all different colors. The cloth one that lay in front of the fire place was a light blue. The one that ran in front of the check-in desk to the left hand side of the door probably had many different colors at one time, but they had all faded away with so much foot traffic. The walls were painted white, and there were brown fans spinning away on the white ceilings.

Sasuke got Naruto and himself a room. Naruto let Sasuke’s hand go and looked around the lobby while he did. He came down into the sitting area and sat on the sofa. He still couldn’t believe that all of this was real. He had to sit down and take it all in.

When he sat down on the brown sofa, it kind of sunk in. “Wow, cozy,” he approved out loud. He watched the fire crackling and popping. He couldn’t wait for Sasuke to take him up to their room. He giggled to himself, he was one happy boy, that was all he knew. He was looking over his rings, happily minding his own business when, suddenly, two strong arms scooped him up bridal style and carried him off to their honeymoon suite, giving him kisses as they went……….
