A Start
A/N: Another chapter sooner than I planned but I've got a couple more already finished and ready to post soon. I'm very happy about the hits and that readers are taking the time to check it out. If you have any suggestions or comments please leave a review or one even if you liked it or not. I apologize for any errors and if there anything major just give me a holler. Thanks!
Chapter Two
She felt stupid and awkward. Tenten tried not to blush as another group of males stopped talking as she stepped around them. There was no way she looked that different. She was still wearing the same clothes as yesterday, plain old school uniform. The only thing different was she’d left her hair down and put on a little pinch of makeup. Her mother had helped her apply it before leaving for school. By no means did she have on the pounds that most of the girls were sporting but she felt a little better when someone whistled.
Wearing her hair up had always been done out of convenience since her hair was so thick and the longer it got the harder it was to control. Since going to the stylist last year it was now a few inches below her shoulder. Without plans to cut it she wanted it to get as long as Ino’s. It wasn’t the striking sun blonde as her friend’s but a rich chestnut brown that went well with her complexion.
Ino had already seen her change in hairstyles and had only smiled knowingly. It was a small step but she had to start somewhere. She was a step behind when it came to getting a guy’s attention since she’d never dated before. Tenten wasn’t a fool and knew it would take more than a little makeover to win her prize. All morning she’d contemplated on whom to get help from. She couldn’t and wouldn’t ask Ino for help that would be going against the bet. Not like Ino would really give her sound advice so she could win. Who to ask?
No one else was in class as she stepped inside but Mr. Sakamoto. Good, she didn’t think she could handle any more stares. One would think she had grown an extra head instead of let her hair down. Even the gross teacher gave her a double take but didn’t comment.
The most impending question was what to wear for the party and would today be a good day to talk to her partner about their assignment? As much as she was enjoying the idea of trying to win the bet she wouldn’t let it interfere with her school work. As much as she liked Neji she did have her priorities straight. Getting her notes out she waited for others to get in class. She heard rather than saw the one she was waiting on enter.
“What the hell? New student?” Kankuro eyed the bent head looking down at a notebook that was sitting in the wrong seat. Why had she sat at his table? He wasn’t against a new student if she was cute but he wasn’t a moron. He wanted to pass and a new partner he couldn’t be sure of would really suck.
“Idiot,” Ino snapped at the crude comment. Leave it to him to be an unfeeling asshole. She thought Tenten looked adorable with her hair down and the girl should make the look permanent.
“You aren’t that lucky,” Tenten wanted to toss something at him for being a smartass. She jerked her head to give him an icy glare. What a jerk! She didn’t look that much different, he was being rude on purpose.
“Whoa!” So she really was a girl. Kankuro squinted at the dainty female sitting in the seat. When had hell frozen over? There was no mistaking that face once she was glaring at him. It was definitely her but she looked different. He had never understood why the girl wore her hair up all the time. The look didn’t make her ugly just appear older and uptight. “That really you, Tidbit?”
“I thought I told you not to call me that anymore.” She felt self-conscious as penetrating dark eyes looked her over. What did she care about his opinion? He would have hit on her long ago if he thought she’d put out.
“What? I didn’t call you a dyke did I?” She didn’t look like one now. He sat down and shrugged. Kankuro laughed at the frown and realized she didn’t like his chosen nickname. If she didn’t like it she should grow taller and fill out. The only girl he knew that was just as short was Hinata but that one had curves and a nice set of tits.
“Alright, before you get too loud,” Mr. Sakamoto tapped his pencil to call the class to order. “Today you’ll be given free time to work on your assignment.”
Kankuro ran a hand through his hair and took the time to look at the girl next to him again. Why the change? Was the wallflower trying to bloom? She was rather cute but still too slim for his liking. She was definitely cuter in the face than his current fling but he wasn’t with her for the face.
The class broke out in chatter the moment the signal was given and Tenten doubted that most of them were discussing the project. She wanted to get it started and finished before it was due. It irked her when someone would wait to get things done and rushed at the last minute. When that happened something was always forgotten or done wrong. She cleared her throat and turned sideways, “I’ve already found some research and have an outline done for the essay and the debate.”
“Great, so what do you need me to do?” he didn’t think she’d appreciate being left to do all of the work. They’d get a better grade if she did but he wouldn’t make her do it.
“I’m going to get all of the data written down. I can make you a copy and you can let me know if it’s enough. I can show you an outline of how I want to work the essay. As for everything else I think we’ll have to work together past that point. I got a computer at my house so we don’t have to use the one here at the school.”
“I got one too with net access, if you want to come to my place.” He’d been given Temari’s old computer when his sister had gotten this newest boyfriend. He didn’t mind hand-me-downs when it was something that nice.
“I’m not sure if that’s a good idea.” She almost cringed at the very idea. There was a good chance they’d have to spend time together outside of school but going over to his house was pushing it.
“Why the hell not? You aren’t that cute,” he couldn’t believe the look she was giving him. Did she think because she had a little bit of makeup on he wanted to jump her? “Sorry but you aren’t my type so you’re safe.”
“I’m sure I am.” Now she felt really stupid. “Fine, but we have to meet up on Sunday. I’ll bring everything I have with me.”
“I don’t know.” Ino was all for talking about the Revolution at this point. Class was halfway over and they didn’t have shit done. At this rate Tenten would have to help or she’d flunk for sure.
“She didn’t look too happy the other day when I talked to her.” Naruto didn’t care what others thought, Sakura wasn’t happy. How could she be when she was with someone as self centered as Sasuke? He had thought the world of Sakura since they were twelve and things hadn’t changed. He had asked her out several times only to be turned down.
“She was probably suffering from cramps.” Ino couldn’t imagine Sasuke being the source of the girl’s unhappiness. She knew Sakura and knew that the girl could be moody on the best of days. “Why do I care?”
“You should, you two were friends.” Naruto was sure that Sasuke had been the reason the two had stopped talking. It went to show you that the guy was no good. No decent person would cause a rift between friends. He still talked to the couple but he didn’t make it any less known that he was in love with Sakura.
“Were being the word,” Ino didn’t care if the girl had a bad day. She was having one herself and no one seemed to give a damn. She’d tried talking to Sasuke this morning and actually got him to say hello but the moment Sakura showed up she ceased to exist. Step one in her great plan was to get rid of the girlfriend. It would be mean and underhanded but all was fair in love and war. It made her think she was as sad as the one sitting next to her. “Hey, you like Sakura don’t you?”
“Yeah,” He was sure everyone knew that he had a thing for the pink haired girl. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for her. Okay, he could think of a few but he did care about her. “Why?”
“Well, because I think we can help each other.” She couldn’t believe she was going to do this but they had agreed that asking for outside help was allowed. Damn, she had to be desperate. “Alright, here is the thing. I like Sasuke and you like Sakura but they are together. As long as they are together, we don’t stand a chance on winning them.”
“Tell me something I don’t know.” Naruto had already realized this and more but had come to the conclusion that it’d be best to wait for an opportunity to show her how he felt. As long as she was happy with Sasuke she wouldn’t look at him as anything other than a friend.
“Shut up and listen. What if I were to tell you that I have a plan to break them up?” Ino hoped he wouldn’t get upset at the proposal. If anyone would agree to help her it would be him. Lee liked the girl also but was too honorable and kind to think about something so vile. Besides she knew that Naruto was secretly envious of Sasuke for many reasons. “What if I asked for your help?”
“Why would I help you do something like that?” The idea had merit but he couldn’t see himself doing it. As much as he disliked the fact that Sasuke had the girl he wanted he didn’t like the idea of hurting Sakura in any way. “No way, I’m not going to do something like that to her.”
“You said so yourself that she didn’t look happy. We won’t do anything too bad. Think of it this way if we succeed then you’ll have a shot at Sakura. We both win. Wouldn’t she be happier with you?” Ino knew she’d need help and he was just the sucker to do it. “You want a chance with her, so why the hesitation?”
“Okay, I’ll think about it.” Naruto wasn’t sure if it would be a good idea. He would like a chance with Sakura but what if she was really happy with Sasuke? Okay, if she were then there was nothing he or Ino could do to come between them. He’d think about it that way. “What do you have down for the assignment so far?”
Kankuro swatted at the annoying fingers trying to play with his hair. He wasn’t in the mood tonight and she knew how much it irritated him. It was one thing to make the gesture a caress, another to make it a nuisance. If it weren’t for the fact that he’d be scoring after the party he’d have told her to find another ride home.
The gathering was in full-swing, and almost everyone there was nursing some type of beverage. His was nothing more than a cold beer, his first for the evening. His plans weren’t to get drunk but to sip in order not to be bugged. The mood he was in could only be described as strange. It had started out agitated, then to pissed, then to amused, all of a sudden. A chuckle had escaped his lips the instant he’d noticed the tiny girl strolling in behind the busty blonde. First, he’d noticed how his ex was once again dressed to kill then he’d glanced behind her and had almost choked. Dressed in similar attire Tenten was out to make a statement.
The dress was a pale blue with spaghetti straps and dipping front. Damn, he had to admit she had some nice legs. He did love a woman with nice calves. The thick hair was once again flowing freely but pulled up on the right side with a clip. She was bordering between the areas of cute and doable. There was no doubt about it Tidbit was going man-hunting. The question was which guy had she set her eyes on?
For now he was content to sit back and watch as the girl trailed behind her friend without really speaking to anyone. He wasn’t doing much conversing either, just sitting in the chair watching the scenery. His date was apparently getting restless because she removed herself from his presence with the excuse of going to the bathroom. He was sure she’d manage to get herself lost along the way.
Minutes later he caught a glimpse of light blue making its way outside into the backyard. Who was out there? Getting up with the excuse of wanting to stretch his legs, he waded through the crowd. Just as he opened the door leading onto the back porch a figure stepped through. A curt nod was all he got from the guy and he moved out of the way.
There was his target, standing next to the railing looking out into the woods. Was that a sigh? Unsure how she’d react to his presence he decided it was a free country and he was a guest as well. She spun around as the door slammed shut.
“Oh,” Tenten was hoping it was Neji coming back outside but deflated seeing that it wasn’t. Only two seconds of inspecting let her know who was invading her pity party. Without the school uniform he looked rather……. Menacing? Were his shoulders that wide, or had that beer gone to her head? “What are you doing out here?”
“I came out to get some fresh air.” He didn’t ask for permission to join her but walked over to the railing and leaned against it facing the opposite direction. Damned if he knew why he’d bothered to come outside but the urge had been strong. Maybe he was a tad curious about the girl that had always been around but never really there.
“Can’t say it’s really that fresh, I’m sure that’s the paper mill I smell.” She wrinkled her nose at the tiny odor. It was almost too faint to pick up on but every time there was a strong wind she got a whiff. She hadn’t even noticed that he was here but then again she hadn’t been looking for him. Her goal had been standing outside until she felt the need to come speak to him. She wasn’t sure if she should be offended at how quick Neji had taken off at the mere sight of her.
“Trust me it’s a lot better than the guy that decided to sit next to me.” That got a chuckle out of her and he glanced over to see she was indeed smiling.
“You must have been sitting next to Takiya.” Tenten almost felt sorry for him. “That guy sits next to me in calculus and I’m so glad that class is before lunch. On Friday I couldn’t decide if it was stale feet or unclean ass. Either way I wanted to cry.”
“That’d be the guy.” The lukewarm beer was placed on the floor at his feet. “I take it you didn’t get seated next to Mr. Stinky so what brings you out here? I’m not interrupting anything am I?”
“Whatever, I just came out for the cool breeze. It was getting rather stuffy in there. I didn’t realize Kiba knew so many people.” She wasn’t about to inform him she’d come out to try flirting but that plan had been slapped down before it began. It was still dying a slow and agonizing death as Neji could be seen through the glass door standing next to his thing. “Where is your girlfriend?”
“Where’s yours?” The comeback was quick and slipped out before he thought about it. Kankuro saw the slender shoulders tense at the question. “Oops, sorry it’s a habit. If you’re really interested I’m sure she’s lost somewhere in a throng of males. Seriously, where is your guy?”
Was he picking on her again? She couldn’t tell with the bored expression he was wearing. Her guy? Who didn’t know that she was single? He had to know so he had to be picking on her. “Very funny, do you think it’s possible for you to stop being an ass for more than a minute?”
“I wasn’t being an ass. What, is it okay for you to ask where my date is but I can’t inquire about yours? Isn’t that some double standard shit there?” He couldn’t believe she’d be so bitchy about it. “Tell you what; I’ll stop being an asshole if you can stop being a bitch.”
“I wasn’t being one, you started it. You know damn well I don’t have a boyfriend.” She didn’t like to be reminded of the fact, especially now. She’d gone through the trouble of getting dressed up and it had all been for naught. It would have been worth it if Neji would have acknowledged her existence but he hadn’t even done that. A bright smile and a cheery hi had been greeted by a lifting of the eyebrows and slamming of a porch door.
“Alright, calm down, shit. Excuse me for breathing,” he was certain he’d seen hurt cross her features for a second. What was her story? “I just assumed with the way you were dressed you had come with a date or something. I mean look at it from my point of view. You suddenly start wearing makeup and change your hair; that usually indicates a guy being involved. You like someone, huh?”
“That’s none of your damn business.” Like hell she’d admit anything to him. Like he needed more ammo to use on her, he wouldn’t understand. Even while dating Ino she’d seen enough to know what kind of person he was. Not to mention all the things he’d said about her best friend after the fact.
“I was just curious, no need to bite my head off. Is it someone I know?” He couldn’t recall her with anyone. Thinking back he knew he wouldn’t have noticed if she had because he hadn’t paid any attention to her. She was so not his type. He preferred blondes, not brunettes. She had a cute face, not the classic beauty he liked. Her figure was very slim, almost boyish and nothing resembling the full curves that he loved. The slight hint of cleavage he could now make out showed a little bit of tit, not even a handful. Still, she had some nice legs.
“No, why do you even care?” Was he asking so he could go blurt it out to the guy just to embarrass her? The last thing she needed was Neji being informed of her feelings by some bigmouthed baboon shouting it from a rooftop.
“I don’t but I thought I’d give you a few pointers.” That got her attention, so he was right. Now he really was interested. What kind of guy did someone like Tenten go for? He knew what kind of guy Ino preferred and it wasn’t him. “For starters, never wear your hair up again.”
“Thanks, I’ll remember that.” What an ass! Like she needed his commentary on the matter! Then again he was a male and one that got around. He was also outside help, so what harm would it do? She gazed at him from the corner of her eye and had to admit he was cute in an odd Elmer Fudd kind of way. “Okay, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to ask your opinion. Since the entire female population knows how you like to give it. But when someone sleeps around like you do I guess you know a few things about girls.”
“I think I should be insulted by that comment. Your tone makes me wanna toss your boney ass right over that railing.” He knew what girls said about him, a lot of it bad but he didn’t give a damn. “If I’m a male slut then you are a fucking dyke. Or wait, what was that one word I heard used in gym class. That’s right, they called you a prude. So which is it?”
“Eat me,” she wasn’t either. Tenten liked to think of herself as being careful. “Unlike your usual throng of females, I have morals. I don’t sleep around.”
“I’m not sure how to take that one. First you make a rather lewd offer then state that you aren’t easy. Or do you just let the guy sample but never buy?” He actually winced when the palm collided against his cheek. That was going to leave a mark and he couldn’t move as she swept by him. Okay, he had deserved that one but it didn’t help his pride as the door slammed shut leaving him alone.
“Hai!” Ino raised her hand enthusiastically as their sensei gave her a quick nod. This was so awesome, she deserved this. Even better that Tenten would be joining her during the duo. The only other person that was near as good was Sakura and she’d be damned if she shared a stage with that hag.
“Owe,” Tenten wasn’t sharing that spray of happiness. Since this morning she had a Charlie horse that wouldn’t go away. It must have been all the tossing and turning she’d been doing while sleeping. Glancing at the large clock on the wall she felt partly bad about skipping out on her appointed study date with a certain troll. The clock read after five in the evening, long past noon. Oh well, he shouldn’t have been so rude last night. Besides skipping it meant she had time to come in and practice for the audition. Not that she had needed to because the part had been hers already. Ino and Sakura had competed for the other half of the duo.
“Congrats, Tenten.” Sakura gave the slender girl a bright smile. Everyone knew that she’d get the part regardless and it was understandable, Tenten could do it the best. What irked her is that their sensei had picked Ino after the blonde had almost messed up during the second chorus. The bitch was probably trading favors.
“Thanks,” Ino boasted. How dare she be ignored, she’d practiced her ass off to win the part. Sakura should spend more time in class instead of in the back seat of Sasuke’s car. “We really worked hard but you wouldn’t know anything about that.”
“Hmph, Ino can you give me a hand here instead of picking a fight?” Tenten stretched her leg out and flinched. If she didn’t know any better she’d have thought that ass had counterattacked with a kick to her shin when she’d smacked him one. As soon as she got home she’d be heading straight to the tub for a long soak.
“I wasn’t picking a fight,” Ino sat down on the floor. “Like it would kill her to admit that I won the part fair and square. Three weeks, think we can get in synch by then? There is no way I’m going to give her a chance to rub me failing in my face. That means putting the report on the back burner also.”
“What?” Tenten loved their dance class just as much as Ino but she didn’t have a huge pile of pride pilled on her shoulder. She wanted to do good when the time came but she wasn’t going to let her studies go either. “I don’t think so. We’ll work hard on both but I’m not going to put my school work on the back burner and try to get it done in the last minute.”
“Fine just have that jackass do some of the work.” Speaking of jackasses, she was supposed to call Naruto sometime soon. Oh well, she could just speak to him during class. Looking around the spacious room she counted six of the students were still here. It would remain open until ten tonight but she wasn’t going to remain that long. “How much longer are you staying?”
“Another hour at most, I got something to do.” A small trace of guilt was lingering about not showing. Would he be angry? Did she really believe he had waited around all day for her to show? No, he probably hadn’t been home anyways. “The sooner I get most of the report done the sooner I can focus on our routine. Do you want to give me a ride? Mom told me to call her but if you are heading out soon, I’ll go with you.”
“Alright, but before you do let’s work a little bit.” Ino didn’t want to leave until after Sakura so she could catch a glimpse of Sasuke. He would always pick the twerp up after class. Most of the girls that had boyfriends had them showing up at odd hours. She’d done it at one time too but why the hell was her ex here now? She narrowed blue eyes out of the glass window to spot the big lunky form of Kankuro leaning against her car. What the hell did he want? If he’d come to talk to her then it would do him no good.
“Sure, but I almost faltered on the third chorus. I think he’s trying to kill us with that third spin. Ready?” Tenten stretched and placed her arms towards Ino. Her being somewhat shorter would make this tricky but they’d get it done. “One, two, three; GO.”
Ino stuck her tongue out at the pink haired obstacle now glaring at her. Eat your heart out! She mocked the swaying of her friend’s arms and fell in step. It was kind of hard to do without the background music but this was something she was good at. She did notice the wince cross Tenten’s face at the forward kick and pivot onto the right foot.
She was going to cry! That had pulled the sore muscle more than she would have thought possible. Maybe it was sleeping hard and the run she’d taken this morning. It was hard to focus with the pain and when a stupid blonde male decided to walk in and let loose a loud catcall.
“Nice,” Naruto ogled the two figures doing something he didn’t think possible. He even had to tilt his head to the side as both proceeded to bend backwards almost folding their body in half. He’d come to talk to Ino since the girl was never home. He knew she’d be here because he had come to watch Sakura on many occasions. “I didn’t realize you were that flexible.”
“Fuck off Foxface.” Ino snapped and almost missed the cue to roll forward. If he’d come to egg Sakura on during the tryouts then he was too late, his little princess had lost.
“Always so sweet,” he gave Sakura a timid wave knowing she was heading outside where Sasuke waited. Hadn’t the tryouts been today? He’d heard her talking about in class but from the look on her face she couldn’t have done that well.
Tenten almost laughed as their newest spectator took a seat on a cushion and seemed content to drum his fingers on the floor and watch. Well he was eyeing Ino and not herself which was just fine with her. While they were both wearing the top and shorts given to them by the school, her top didn’t look quite as nice. Her bra size had never gone beyond a B but Ino was sporting a solid D. Her ass wasn’t as bubbly either. She wasn’t disappointed in her figure, far from it. She was slim, well formed and had enough to be recognized as a female while naked. Today her hair was piled high in a single pony tail. Only a few strands had managed to escape during practice.
“I’m going to faint,” Ino winced as her tits rubbed across the floor. They’d have to discuss this small step. Tenten would have to rise up another three inches to match her so she wouldn’t be giving her nipples carpet burn. Another note to herself, the hair had to be braided. A strand was clinging to her sweaty cheek and it was really starting to itch. “Okay, this is really starting to chap my ass.”
Tenten snorted and missed placing her hand forward. A loud thud echoed around her as she met hard floor. Watching Ino trying to pry the hair from her face like a rabid cat, she burst out laughing. She’d been ignoring a cramped muscle and all it took for the blonde was a strand of hair.
“Ouch, that might leave a mark.” Not to mention the girl’s panties might be soaked by now with all that laughing. Naruto wasn’t sure if he wanted to console her or ask Ino what she was attacking. “You two okay?”
“No, I swear if I didn’t want to look like Forehead I’d shave it all off.” Ino groaned as the front door slammed, leaving just four in the building. Their sensei was in the corner putting away equipment and checking things out. She knew the man was just waiting for them to leave so he could rush home to his boyfriend. “Alright, I quit. I need a hot shower and a pizza.”
“I’ll take you out for the pizza but you got to get the shower first.” Naruto stood speaking loud enough for them to hear. He didn’t mind if Tenten came but they’d just have to leave out the discussion of Sakura and Sasuke.
“Sounds great, you’re a life savor but I got to drive Tenten home first.” Ino wanted to talk to him about a plan she’d been devising but her friend couldn’t be there. Seeing the process wasn’t the same as discussing it with each other.
“It’s okay; I’ll just call my mom. You go on ahead I want to practice a bit longer anyways.” Tenten wasn’t stupid, just confused. Naruto had always been a casual friend; there weren’t many people that didn’t like him. Yet, why the sudden need to stop by and speak to Ino? It either had to do with their project or her friend’s crush on Sasuke. Ino would never go out of her way to stress over school work so it had to do with Sasuke. “I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Don’t work too hard.” Ino was now glad that he’d come by. She wasn’t in the mood for sliced liver and onions. Naruto was really such a dear. It made her wonder what Sakura didn’t see in him. “Thanks but I think I need to take care of something first.”
“Huh?” Naruto held the door open for her and glanced around the parking lot. Leaning up against the small Honda was someone he recognized. Hadn’t the two broken up months ago? Was he interrupting something? The last thing he wanted was for the guy to get the wrong idea and think he was trying to move in on his ex. He’d gotten into a fight with the younger brother just last year and didn’t want to repeat the experience.
Ino indicated for Naruto to wait there and strolled over to her car. What was he doing waiting on her? Not to mention he had his thick hide leaning against her property. At one time she’d found his backside to be rather nice in jeans but now she just wanted to drown him whenever she saw him. “What are you doing? My car isn’t a public bench.”
“Oh sorry. I figured it was like its owner. You know; anybody can ride.” Kankuro dug into his pocket for a cigarette. The girl hadn’t changed, one day she needed to face reality. “What has crawled up your ass?”
“You!” She couldn’t believe he’d come by here and wait on her. His being allowed to visit her had ended with the name calling and the rumors. “What the fuck are you doing here? Are you that hard up you’ve turned to stalking now?”
“Get over yourself, I’m not here to see you.” He knew that the other girl was still inside. Unless she had a ride on the way then she would be coming out any minute now. First he was going to choke her for standing him up. Even if it had been a study date, he’d stayed home and waited for her to stop by. “What up?”
“Hey man,” Naruto greeted him and casually strolled to the car. There was definitely bad blood between these two. He’d heard stories about them both and wasn’t sure what to believe. Most were about her starting rumors about Kankuro having a small dick. Him saying she’d cheated on him and had slept with a bunch of guys. He didn’t believe Ino to be an angel or virgin by any standards but he didn’t think she’d go as far as to gang bang a bunch of guys.
“Then what are you doing here and with your fat ass planted on my car?” She couldn’t possible think any other reason he’d stop by. At one time she’d been happy to see him waiting on her but not anymore. “Oh I see, you must be Kisuke-sensei’s new boyfriend. Go on in, he should be in his office.”
“I’m sure he is but I didn’t come to see him.” Kankuro scoffed at the idea of being here to see another guy. Though, he’d probably turn queer before dating the blonde again. “I’m here because your little friend is inside. I’m going to assume Tenten isn’t going to stay behind and spend time alone with your queer teacher.”
“What? Of course not,” Ino gauged his reaction and almost yelled at his retreating back. Why was he here to see Tenten? There was no way in hell he was impatient to do school work. She wouldn’t worry about it. She knew her best friend to know she had nothing to worry about. Tenten had some taste and knew that it wasn’t kosher to date your friend’s ex. Besides she knew what the lug’s type was and Tenten fell short of it. “Come on, I’m starving.”

Chapter Two
