Morning Daze, Afternoon Craze 1

Alpha: hmm…I’m also adding this along on over here as well. This story doesn’t delve deep into the smut into later on. Also because of a certain scene that happens later on too I don’t want to add that in it’s cleaner version. *coughs*

With that out of the way, proceed…

Apprentice to the Bloodline Limit

Chapter II: Morning Daze, Afternoon Craze Part 1

If he didn’t stop the commotion soon, he’ll have to deal with being reprimanded by his boss. That was the last thing Hatake Kakashi wanted, as his dark charcoal colored eye did a quick glance to the ever ticking noise of the large round clock stationed above class 2-7A’s blackboard.

“Eighteen minutes left before homeroom ends,” putting his little orange book away into one of his pant pockets, the silver haired professor turned his attention to his students who were busy making a crowded circle around two individuals.

“Alright! Settle down, I don’t have much time left to get this out of the way so the sooner you discipline yourselves, the better we can start the school year without incident.”

To Kakashi’s relief, the relatively small class quietly did as he commanded. They took to their preferred seats without protests. It didn’t mean that most girls glared with pure loathing as hard as they could at the new guy for bagging a seat on the Uchiha’s left or at Sakura for managing to sit on his right.

The surgery mask wearing man had his eye particularly on the Uzumaki juvenile and the Uchiha prodigy. Naruto continued to glare at Sasuke with a sneer, and Sasuke returned the gesture with more subtlety.

The onyx haired teen turned his face away from the blond with annoyance, clearly doing everything in his power to ignore him. He rested his elbows upon his desk, crossing his hands together and then rested his chin on top of them.

Not able to take looking at the guy who pissed him off, Naruto slumped into his chair, leaned back with a slight slouch and crossed his forearms. He too focused his attention on their homeroom teacher.

Sakura smiled smugly at her small victory, milking in the obvious envy she was receiving from the other girls, especially Ino for getting to sit next to Sasuke. Her face would flush every time her eyes glanced over to the annoyed teen next to her. She deflated a little when she seen that he was too intent on keeping his eyes on Kakashi and then she glared at Naruto for making Sasuke annoyed before looking straight ahead.

“Firstly I want to start out saying, congratulations on making it to your sophomore year of High School. I will assume that all of you here with the exception of Uzumaki Naruto have been prior students of Konoha Academy. So you all know the rules of the school without me having to tell you again.”

Here he looked at Naruto who just frowned then he looked over his entire class.

“I will be your homeroom teacher for the year. My name is Hatake Kakashi. You can address as Kakashi-sensei. I don’t really care what you do with your time for the forty-five minutes we are in this room together.”

“I only ask that you give me five minutes to take attendance and to make any important announcements. I do however will not tolerate fighting of any kind, Uzumaki-san,” Naruto’s frown deepen some more, he was starting to not like this teacher at all. He wasn’t the only one getting ready to fight.

Naruto’s classmates snickered at him.

“Unauthorized fighting on campus anywhere except the intended places without a staff member is grounds for expulsion…for those of you who have not yet turned sixteen and do not have your permission papers.”

Kakashi’s hidden smile widen at Naruto who kept giving him the evil eye. But the blond was now looking a bit confused.

“Permission papers? What the hell is that?”

Kakashi’s eyebrow rose, did Tsunade-sama really not explain to Naruto about the school.

“You are fully aware the kind of school this is right?”

“Uh...yea, it’s a school to train us to fight, just like my old schools! What I don’t get is why we need permission to kick each other’s ass!”

Naruto’s glare went to the black haired boy next to him.

The silver hair man just inwardly sighed. Seems like his boss didn’t bother.

“Well here we do things differently. This school is just more than about ‘training you to fight’. There is a specific reason for our students to have legal documents—”

The sound of the bell signaling the end of homeroom cut of what Kakashi in mid sentence.

“Oh, its 7:55 already?” he took out his orange book, just as he saw his co-worker, Yuuhi Kurenai walking through the doors of the classroom.

“Hmm, we’ll continue this conversation tomorrow also I want you guys to figure out who will be your class representatives for tomorrow.”

Some of the students begin to mummer amongst themselves now that they had five minutes before the next teacher began the first lesson of the day. The girls looked at the familiar woman come through and sighed about how pretty she was. Some of the guys made little catcalls as she entered.

Kakashi turned to leave out of the room, passing the ruby eyed woman on the way.

“Good luck.”

Kurenai looked to the Kakashi with a small smile, “Now what makes you say that?”

“You’re the first to get to do the honors of teaching the ‘new kid’. Overall, I don’t think you’ll have too much of a problem with this particular classroom, well bye.”

The raven haired woman, dressed in a red dress that came to her knees and a red dress jacket, looked at the mask wearing man leave out of the room.

Once the door was closed and the second bell rang, Kurenai sat her briefcase down on her desk. She walked in red heels over to the blackboard and erased Naruto’s name. Without turning around from the blackboard she began to speak.

“Good morning, I am Yuuhi Kurenai, your history professor for the year,” her voice matched the lovely yet cold demeanor one associated her with.

She turned around and smiled to her class, “Today we will be reviewing what you learned from freshman year, and then from there we will begin the school year learning about the First Great War.”

There were collective groans and sighs.

“No complaining, please take out a few sheets of paper for this exercise—”

Naruto was already getting bored. History was his least favorite subject. He got easily bored with doing all that reading. Until he got to learning about some marital arts then he’ll be motivated to learn anything.

There was a nudge from behind him. He glared and looked back at the intruder on his personal space until he saw Ino looking at him with a stern expression. Said girl, like most students, wore a purple customized style of the school uniform. She held her pencil up, pointing at his face. She whispered to him fiercely.

“Take out some paper idiot before Yuuhi-sensei calls you out.”

With that she quickly went back to listening to their sensei as the woman dotted down questions for reviewing. She pretended as if she never spoke at all to Naruto.

Naruto’s eyebrows rose high into his hair line. He was genuinely surprised the girl would go out of her way to help him not get caught.

He smiled at her and turned back around to take out some paper and a pen but not before catching the tiny smirk from Ino. Well he’ll try to pretend he’s interested in the lesson.

After twenty minutes of trying, Naruto doze off to sleep.

Dark golden eyes looked up at the clock on the wall where the windows were. This had been the tenth time in less than five minutes that Karui started to get irritable because the clock was no where near 1:20 pm.

“Come on, come on!” She began drumming her fingers on her desk. Watching the second hand move constantly and the minute hand just leaning over to the number ten.

“Ugh! Why does it have to be thirty damn more minutes?! I gotta go somewhere!”

She was sitting next to Omoi, since their desks were joined together side by side. Karui naturally had problems with partnering up with anybody that wasn’t Omoi, or wasn’t female.

To prevent there from ever being problems in the future, Omoi would automatically sit next to her. He hated to get into altercations that gave him headaches because of Karui. (And oh had there been problems in the past. Some guys just really didn’t know when to keep their mouths shut.)

She wrote down the answer for the equation. The ruby hair girl loved math and was trying her best to focus on the worksheet. The more she focused on her sheet, the faster the time would go.

“Shit,” Karui answered another problem and looked up too soon to see the minute hand was now pointing at a black tally line on the clock.

“12:51! This is bullshit!”

Omoi suppressed an urge to shout. In the course of Karui’s sighs, groans, drumming her fingers, cursing under her breath and now tapping her foot under the desk. She bumped him again, making his writing hand make ugly pencil marks across his worksheet. He didn’t have it in him to erase his paper again or else it’ll look to messy and how could the professor understand his work then? He’ll fail his first assignment for sure.

Of course she wasn’t doing it on purpose, but it was still annoying him.

“Stop fidgeting.”

“I am not.”

“Yes you are and stop staring at that thing, burning holes in it isn’t going to make the clock turn any faster.”

Karui looked indignant at Omoi a slight blush crossed her brown cheeks at being caught red handed.

“I’m not looking at the clock, I’m just thinking. Leave me alone!” she whispered harshly.

When Omoi was sure he could work in peace, Karui bumped him again. He saw her with her face turned from him, looking at the clock. He bumped her this time.

“You’re fidgeting.”

“I told you, I’m not.”

She bumped his knee he plucked her on the side the neck.

“Stop it!”

“You are so!”

“Leave me alone before I really hit you.”

Omoi groaned. On second thought, sitting next to Karui in school was just as detrimental to his health and trying to have neat orderly paperwork.

She stomped on his foot hard, after being frustrated with the time. Omoi’s eye twitched. He had so many unnecessary marks and erase spots on his worksheet that he had a tear…A TEAR in the paper. That was the last straw. Omoi went out of his way to grab a fist full of Karui’s wild untamed hair and yanked…hard.

He will deal with the repercussions later.

“What the fuck did you do that for!?” She was yelling up in his face, rubbing her now sore scalp. That hurt like a bitch. She was about to lay one in on Omoi for that one.

“Karui! Outside now!”

Karui looked absolutely dumbstruck at Jay. This wasn’t even her fault!

“Fine!” She stood up abruptly from her seat, making the chair fall on the floor and stormed outside.

When school was over, Karui was going to kick his ass. Like he said, he’ll deal with the repercussions later. In the meantime, he had about twenty-one minutes left to re-do his work over.

Outside, Karui growled under her breath. She leaned against the wall with her arms crossed.

“I’m going to beat the shit out of you Omoi! Oh yes I will.”

Not one to stand and wait for class to be over, Karui took off down the hallway. If Jay gave her detention for walking off without permission, she’ll deal with it later. She had something very important to take care of which involved leaving the school grounds.

Karui’s trek down the hall went fine until she turned left and went out the double doors to the outside. There outside inside one of Kumo’s many courtyards were students hanging out. Most of them were ditching class.

She knew, because most of them were sophomores and juniors who held the same class schedule as her. She thought it was ridiculous actually. They only had to suffer for one three hour and a half class held once a week.

As she walked further down, passing by some of them, she started to hear the obligatory mocking catcalls the guys would throw her way. By mocking, she meant loud, rude, mean and not meaning anything by it at all.

She knew she wasn’t the prettiest thing to walk the earth. Even in this ridiculous school girl uniform, but it was very vexing to hear how ‘unattractive’ she was every damn day.

“DAMN!”

Karui narrowed her eyes at the group of boys who chorused this.

“Girl, you is fine as fuck!”

“Ignore the dumb bastards for they not know what they do Karui.”

“Hey girl, let me get those digits!”

“Ugh, did some of these dummies really think Killerbee’s corny one liners really worked?!”

Yo yo yo! Baby! Come holla at cha man!”

Her eye twitched, her right hand twitched.

“How about I come holla at cha with a slice to your dick!”

“Aw come on Karui why you gotta be like that!”

The guy was obviously keeping in a laugh. She had started tapping the side of her katana hoisted on her back. He was really taking her for a joke.

She pushed him out of her way to get by. Behind her she heard him call her a bitch, but what was new.

When she turned another corner, she was blocked by a tanned arm with metal chains on it, hand pressing against a wall. Further up the muscular arm with a rolled up brown sleeve belonging to a dress shirt. Karui frowned and inhaled sharply.

“What?” She bit out looking straight ahead.

A tall imposing figure hovered over her, almost trapping her to the wall. Karui wasn’t the least bit intimidated by his presence.

“I knew you wouldn’t last long.”

Karui glanced over at the guy’s face. She was met with brown eyes and blue hair.

“What are you talking about?”

The two of them were drawing attention from other students wandering the courtyard.

“Ditching class, I knew you couldn’t keep that silly goody two shoes act up.”

The guy kept touching her yellow bandana.

“So what?” her frown deepened.

He snatched the bandana off her head. Karui made a move to take it back but he moved it out of her reach. She growled.

He smirked, stuffing the item inside his back pocket, “So where are you going?”

“None of your business,” Karui said through clenched teeth. She moved to walk by the guy but he moved right in her way. Then he started playing with a lock of her bangs.

“Is this all you came here to bother me for?” she smacked his hand away.

“Maybe?” he said, walking around Karui as if inspecting her like a piece of meat.

“Well move, I have to go somewhere.”

That annoying smirk grew wider, “You know, up close you’re kinda cute without the bandana.”

“Haha stop joking around! What do you want!”

Her ire was rising. If he touched her again she wouldn’t be responsible for her actions. The blue hair punk started laughing now. Karui was very aware that more and more people were gathering around them.

“What a shame, for a ‘Licky-licky’ girl you got a fine ass!”

There was evident laughter around her. She was sure he just insulted her. She didn’t get the general meaning of whatever the hell he just called her, but she was sure it was an insult.

“What the hell does that even mean!?”

He quickly moved behind her, leaning over her shoulder, “Exactly what it sounds like.”

Karui actually blushed. There was a warm palm rubbing slowly up and down her posterior.

That was it! She was going to kill them all! Fucking bastards did this on purpose. She quickly recovered from her moment of shock and embarrassment.

Her elbow quickly jammed into the assailant’s face, knocking his head backwards. She took her sword off her back still inside its sheath. Karui used it to thrust him in his abdomen, and then use it to make a clean sweep under his legs, knocking him successfully to the ground.

She got up glaring down at him, watching him writhe in pain before turning away to exit the school.

“This is why nobody likes you! You fucking dyke!”

The red head girl paused in her step without turning back around.

“Oh, so that’s what that means. I should have known,” she continued walking away.

There was a monotone clap coming from in front of her.

“I guess I owe Omoi fifty ryou, I thought for sure you were finally mellowing out.”

Karui wiry smiled at the blonde with the busty rack in front of her, “Tell your damn classmate to keep his hands off me Samui-senpai.”

“I’ll see what I can do, Kohai,” the stoic female said. She walked by Karui’s side.

“What are you doing out of class? You’re usually not a rule breaker Samui.”

“I’m running an errand for my sensei. What is your excuse?”

“Omoi…but it’s fine now because I promised someone I’ll be somewhere,” Samui watched as Karui nervously played with the ends of her hair.

“You’ll get detention if you leave the school without permission.”

“I know that! I don’t care, this is way more important.”

“I’m not stopping you, you’ve always done whatever you wanted, but don’t make a habit out of this. You just manage to make top scores, you’ll fail if you start skipping out on class again.”

“Tell me something I don’t know.”

Samui regarded the other girl.

“You look a little different today.”

Karui paused she looked at the short hair blonde with confusion.

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Your hair— you’re not wearing a bandana, you look prettier without it.”

Karui blinked her eyes for a second. Then she smiled pensively at Samui.

“Ah…not really, but thanks for trying Samui, ja ne.”

Samui just watched the younger girl leave out the doors. She looked slightly stunned.

“I was being serious.” The buxom blonde shrugged her shoulders, a hand on her hip as she walked in the direction of the main office building.

Don’t have much to say….

Until next time.
