Incredible Ninjas

So my first chapter was pretty much a warning to all of you that some of the sex scenes may get weird in this fic, but the absolute weirdest was the first and it is out of the way. I figured it was time to get serious. It has developed a plot!

This should have been one of the most celebrated days in Konoha’s history.

 

… No. Not just Konoha’s history. This should have been the most celebrated day of the entire Shonobi world.  Instead, all of Konoha was overcast with gloom. All living Kage’s wore black robes as they entered the Hokage tower.

 

Tsunade was dead.

 

During the great Shinobi War, Akatsuki was defeated. Madara’s body was burned. His ashes were left to blow away with the wind like a really bad dream. The rookie nine became hardened warriors of legend, but none as famous as Uzumaki Naruto, who suffered near fatal injuries in what was considered the most epic battle of the century… up until that point.

 

In an ironic twist of event, Kabuto was also captured and his body was being studied and dissected alive in the medical hall. A team lead by Shizune was taking him apart, cell by cell.

 

After defeating Akatsuki, Naruto did what Naruto does. He continued to train and pursue Konoha’s only missing Uchiha, not knowing that Sasuke had acquired the most powerful Sharigan of all time. He successfully combined Sage and Tail Beast modes. Not being the most creative or intelligent person on the planet, Naruto just called it Sage Tailed Beast Mode. Any shinobi alive would tell you that just looking at him in this mode was the most incredible sight you’d ever see in your entire life.

 

It was one of the long stints that Naruto left to train that Sasuke came to take revenge on the village. Naruto could sense the pain and suffering Konoha was experiencing immediately, but couldn’t make it back nearly fast enough. In a desperate attempt to save her village, Tsunade faced Sasuke herself and ordered all Konoha Shinobi to fall back and prepare for the worst.

 

When Naruto finally make it to the scene, Tsunade’s torso was consumed with burning Ameratsu.

 

The fight nearly killed both of them. Naruto accidently made eye contact with Sasuke. As Sasuke searched Naruto’s mind, he saw the truth about Itachi, Madara, Akatsuki, and felt Naruto’s heart ache.  Receding quickly, Sasuke melted down and on a screaming rampage, attempted to destroy everything in sight, Naruto included.

 

In the end, Naruto did what he promised to do. He broke every limb in Sasuke’s body, forced him to submit, and dragged him into captivity. He collapsed as soon as everything was all said and done.

 

Konoha’s skies were as downcast at Sakura’s dim jade eyes. The village was prepared to mourn for the only Kunoichi to ever become hokage, but instead of heading to the funeral, Sakura was stuck at the hospital mending a broken Sasuke.

 

She sighed heavily as she inhibited his chakra and disengaged his sharingan in the process. This is the man that she loved all her life. He was right in front of her! But she found herself despising the very sight of his mangled and marred body. This was the man that killed the person that gave her the most in life.

 

… Sakura of all people should have been right there mourning at Tsunade’s side more than anyone else in the world.

 

Summoning the chakra to her fingertips, she formed a chakra scalpel and eyed Sasuke’s pulsing jugular. He deserved to pay for this. Her hand shook as it inched closer and closer to the raven’s neckline.

 

The only thing that Shizune could see when she walked into the room was the blood dripping down Sakura’s chin. Without even realizing it, Sakura bit her bottom lip so hard, it bled.

 

Wiping the tears trickling from her own eyes, Shizune whispered, “I’ll wrap this up. You… should be with Naruto right now.”

 

“Yes…” Sakura nodded slowly. “I should be with Naruto right now.”

 

 The pink haired Kunoichi flew over rooftops in search of the column of smoke where Tsunade's body was being burnt. Brilliant blonde hair was of course right by the decease Hokage's side and  would remain there until well after the last ember died and became cold. Sakura didn't realize that she was sobbing uncontrollably until she buried her face in chest of a bright orange jumpsuit. If her sobs hadn't made her shake violently, she would have sighed in relief when Naruto finally wrapped his arms around her.

 

"It's going to be okay..." he whispered, voice scratchy from his own mourning.

 

"No. It isn't."
