Chapter Three
Sakura had spent the next two days traveling to her destination. This is exactly what she had been needing she wanted to escape from her everyday life style. No one would bother her here. Finally after two days and one night, she could see a village up ahead.
The village was located at the bottom of the mountain, it was a small village but the people there seemed to be very friendly. An older man had noticed her looking around.
“Is there anything I could help you with miss?”
Sakura asked if she was close to the hot springs.
“The hot springs are located close to the peek of the mountain.”
“Is there a Inn or a hotel located near there?” Sakura did not want to have to walk up the mountain every time she wanted to relax in the spring.
“I’m sorry we are planning to build one in the near future. But our village leader his name is Keiji-sama, he owns three cottages that are near the springs. His house his the one with the blue roof.” The older man pointed toward the house.
“Thank you very much” Sakura then headed over to Keiji-sama’s home.
Sakura had just caught keiji-sama in time; he was getting ready to leave the village for a short while.
“Keiji-sama, my name is Haruno Sakura, I am from Konoha.”
“Ah, you’re a konoha ninja!” Sakura was not sure if he was pleased or if he felt disregard.
But Keiji-sama was actually pleased; He had been thinking that it would be necessary to have close ties with Konoha. Since his village was small and if ever under attack he would need their help.
“Is there anything that I can help with you with?”
“Well I am here on vacation, I came here for the hot springs,”
“I see, well would you like to stay in one of the cottages that are very close by the springs?”
Sakura was somewhat glad that he offered her before she had to ask.
“Yes, how much for one week and two days.”
“Don’t worry about it, my village may need help from Konoha one day.” Keiji-sama handed Sakura a key and told her that it would be the second cottage.
“One of the other cottages has guests too. Enjoy your stay.”
Sakura decided to pick up groceries to last her for her stay since the village was so far from where she would be it would be pointless to have to come back down from the top of the mountain later. After she did her shopping she headed up the mountain.
The sun was beginning to set and Sakura had already passed the first cottage, which seemed to be empty, she wondered why she couldn’t have stayed there it would have been closer. She kept on going she could hear the sound of water. And finally she could she the house. Well she couldn’t complain it was the closet one next to the hot spring. She could see the steam from the spring.
She unlocked the door and entered the cottage. It was small but cozy. Sakura put the groceries in the fridge and she plopped down on the bed, she was tired.
