A Mear Moment in Time
So it’s finally hear, the third chapter!!! Lol, well leave some reviews and tell me what you think.
The thick steam rolled into the air from over top of the scolding hot water into the starlit night sky. There wasn’t a cloud in sight, the wind blew soft over the flat Land of Fire whistling threw the leaves of tall trees .
“Naruto…” Jiraiya began as if about to say something of importance. Naruto was leaned against the stone wall behind him while neck deep in the spring with his eyes shut and his arms resting behind his head. Naruto opened his eyes and turned to look at his Sensei when he didn’t continue speaking. Jiraiya didn’t look at him, he merely stared directly in front of him. “How do you feel, about the progress you have made over the passed 3 years with you under my training?” Naruto looked to the moon contemplating his answer.
“I don’t know I’ve gotten stronger, I guess, but I feel like I still have a lot to learn.” Naruto said still looking to the full glowing moon.
“Wow Choji, you really have improved.” Shikamaru stated standing up on a thick branch with his back to the trunk. He wiped his forehead with his sleeve relieving it of his hard work. He had on his usual vacant face with his hair tied back into his usual ponytail.
“I’ve been doing a lot more training over the last couple of years, I refuse to be the one who holds back the team because of my inabilities. I was always teased because I was bigger then every one else, because I was slow… Never again.” Choji explained starring at the ground beneath him. The wind blew threw his long mane as he took in a deep breath. Ino was listening silently for a change on a branch above Choji. There was a moment of silence that floated softly through the air. Ino and Choji both looked to Shikamaru, he glanced at them and then back to the starry night sky.
“I have feeling something very troublesome is about to happen… Very, troublesome.” He said in his usual low tone.
Sakura’s head was pressed deep into the male shinobi’s strong bare chest as tears ran like a river down her face and over his abs to stain his cream colored robe at the waist. Her arms wrapped tightly around his tight back and up against the soft cloth of his garment as she sobbed. He lightly held her in his arms, one hand on her troubled head and another around her waist. Neither of their lips parted to speak, they just held one another with nothing watching but the full moon and the stars above. (You’re here, you came back for me. You do care, despite what you say, now I know…) Sakura thought to herself as her tears began to slow. (His chest is so warm, I can here his heart beat. He feels so nice. He’s grown so much in the passed three years. It’s been so long since… I’ve never been this close to him before, it’s so comforting, but why, why come back now…) She wondered. He felt her questions through out her body pressed so tight up against his own. His long black bangs waved slowly in the calm wind over his sharp slanted black eyes. His face was a little tanned from the sun that burned high in the sky earlier that day.
“Byakugan!” Neji shouted. Ten-Ten looked at him from a little behind with worry in her eyes. His hair was whipping threw the air as he ran with no hesitation in his steps.
“This must be serious if Neji is using his Kekkeii-Genkaii.” Ten-Ten’s brow came to a quick wrinkle. Neji glanced over the area never losing speed when he spotted what looked like three people, it was blurred because they were still about seven miles away. (I can’t be mistaken, it’s definitely his presents that I since. I remember it from last time we encountered one another. I never did get my chance to fight him…this may be it.) Neji thought to himself with an intense look of anticipation written across his face.
“Why do you ask?” Naruto questioned, looking back in the Sanin’s direction. The Toad Sage never looked Naruto’s way. Naruto awaited his answer taking a hand and combing threw his brilliant blonde hair. (Man, I don’t have a very good feeling about this, not at all.) Naruto began to sweat just a little at the thought. Jiraiya shut his dark eyes and took in a deep breath as if to calm himself or something of the sort.
Sakura weakly pulled herself away from the robed figure before her. He looked down at her into her shining bright green eyes as she looked up at him. She gazed deep into his black eyes as if falling into a trap that she knew was set just for her. She lost herself inside him imagining what they could do together and how they would live, but then the sight of the village played into her mind and his spell over her broke as she sharply turned her head to the side looking into the trees when something caught her eye. The boy took his large hand curved his fingers gently lifting her chin and began lowering his face, eyes shut, to hers. Sakura’s eyes widened as she saw him lower himself to her, she had never even dreamed of this mere moment in time. The moment in time where his lips would meet hers.
“Naruto… I can no longer teach you, I have taught you all I can, for now.” With that the Sage rose out of the water, wrapped his towel around his waist and was too far before Naruto had a chance to say a word. Naruto watched as Jiraiya walked away and disappeared into the steam. He turned back around and sunk nose deep into the spring, (What’s going on… Why can’t Pervy Sage be my Sensei anymore, what’s going on!)
(I can’t let Naruto find out that I’m going away, he’ll try and stop me, but it’s for the good of Konoha that I go… And I may never return, alive.) Jiraiya thought to himself as he wandered out of the hot springs back in his usual attire.
There lips hesitated before they met and Sakura’s first surprised expression became more calm and sultry as she closed her eyes blocking her sense of sight and heightening her since of touch. His lips were soft against hers as they made love there minds. (Sasuke…) Sakura thought as he pulled her body back closer to hers pressing her firm breast against his thick chest. They lost themselves inside one and other in a swirl of hot passion and lust. Sakura’s cheeks had now turned a light red color that went well with her hair.
Neji picked up speed maneuvering through small bushes and trees as Ten-Ten began to fall behind. Ten-Ten followed after Neji trying to keep up as she watched swirls of dust and leaves kick up behind him as he flew across the forest floor. (We’re getting closer, we’re almost there, I can see clearer now.) A sharp smirk ran across Neji’s face. Ten-Ten observed him carefully,(What’s wrong with him, what’s with that weird smirk on his face for.) She thought.
Sasuke gently pulled away from Sakura gazing into her eyes smiling with his eyes before he spun around putting his back to her. His face was completely changed as if he were another person. His eyes grew cold and calm and his face held no emotion. Sakura was still not in her right mind behind him not really aware that there bond had been broken. A kunai appeared racing toward Sasuke from out of the bushes, his eyes slowly shifted but stayed calm as he lifted his hand outward catching the kunai headed for his temple between his index and middle fingers cutting them a bit. A small amount of blood ran down the sides of his fingers. The young shinobi then flipped the kunai in his hand and threw it back in the exact direction it came from into the bush where a figure darted out, knocked out and lifted Sakura leaving her back in the bushes from where he came. Sasuke’s eyes followed each movement carefully and attentively. The shinobi turned his back on the situation and slowly began making his way back to the boarder of the Konoha. The figure that had been in the bushes finally revealed himself, stepping into the moonlight. “Uchiha Sasuke…” the figure spoke, Sasuke stopped but kept his back to his enemy. “What business do you have in Konoha, you ran away and became a missing-nin, remember?” The shinobi spoke in a cool calm voice. Sasuke remained quiet. “Did you forget the code of our shinobi? You are no longer welcome in this village, or do you simply not care?” The man continued.
“I owe you know explanation.” The boy said boldly not turning an inch of his body to give eye contact. The man reached to pull up his forehead protector that was lying over his left eye. The boy let out a cold grunt. The man hesitated revealing his secret. “Go ahead Kakashi, the Sharingan Warrior, reveal it.” He said still facing the moon. Kakashi let go of his protector and turned toward the bushes as Sasuke grabbed the sheaf of his sword and revealed first inch of his katana.
A young boy leaped out of the trees above landing in front of his ally wearing what appeared to be a Hyuuga styled robe and loose long black pants. “I’ll take it from here Kakashi.” The boy said confidently. Kakashi willingly stepped aside leaving enough space for there battle. Kakashi folded his arms over his chest and sighed. “I will be your opponent Uchiha.” The boy called out.
“Hmph…” Sasuke let out a hard sigh of annoyance and turned to face the Hyuuga before him.
“Don’t get to cocky… Byakugan!” An abundance of veins surrounded the boy’s eyes as searched the Uchiha’s Chakra points. His brow dropped into a strong wrinkle. (What is this chakra, it’s not normal, it’s nearly unlimited, I haven’t seen half that much chakra since…)
(Naruto began panting and sweating as the power from the demon took over his mind. A red chakra began seeping from his pours as his power grew stronger. His Aura had changed; it was deep and dark, full of malice and hatred. He bared his sharp teeth and growled storming toward him.)
Neji took a hesitant step backward widening his eyes admiring the young shinobi’s chakra. (His chakra isn’t even the same color as normal chakra.) “Kakashi, his chakra isn’t normal, it’s… like that of a beast. It burns as a Crimson red flame in the in his core.” Neji explained regaining his composure. Kakashi’s face went serious as he removed his forehead protector from over his left eye revealing his full developed Sharingan. Sasuke looked deep into Neji, exploring his thoughts and feelings, his hidden fears. Then he looked toward Kakashi focused his attention on Sasuke’s emotionless black eyes focusing in with his Dojutsu. (After all these years he still holds that same grudge. He still seeks power for revenge of his deceased clan.) Kakashi thought to himself in despair. Sasuke turned and began to walk to slowly walk away.
(She’s unconscious) Ten-Ten thought to herself feeling for Sakura’s pulse. (What’s going on?) Ten-Ten peaked over the bushes, (Is that Sasuke, did he do this to her? Damn I’m so confused?) She thought shaking her head. She looked back over the thick bushes. (He must be who Neji sensed on our walk, that explains some. Neji always wanted to fight him but then he disappeared not to long after the arrival of his brother. It was rumored that he went off that Orochimaru who killed the fourth, but why would Sasuke want to go with him. What ties do they have? And if Sasuke did go with him why isn’t he wearing the sound forehead protector? Man this is a lot, I wonder if anyone has told the Hokage yet?) Ten-Ten left her thoughts to continue watching form her hiding spot.
“I see you’re still on your quest for revenge, Sasuke.” Sasuke’s attention wasn’t grabbed as he continued on his way. “I told you to give up on your journey for revenge three years ago, and look at you now.” Sasuke did not stop. “You’re lusting for blood, his blood. And power.” The has been Genin stopped in his tracks back still toward his former Sensei and Ally. “You’re living off hatred and malice. You’re no different from you’re brother, he too…”
“SHUT UP!!!” he cut Kakashi off mid sentence. He kept his back turned while he spoke. “You know nothing of what I’ve gone through, what I have suffered in this life. I won’t stop until he’s dead.” Neji listened intently. “And if any one gets in my way… I will kill them.” He turned his head enough to flash his Sharingan at them. Neji flinched, Kakashi was still. (His Sharingan has fully developed over these passed years but there is something strange about his, it’s dark like that of his brother’s, they truly are headed down the same path.) Kakshi thought to himself watching as his favorite student walked away, leaving him the shadows of his dark past. “You are weak Hyuuga, you can not battle me with those eyes.” Neji’s brow fell to an extreme wrinkle as he watched the darkness absorb the boy into itself. The angry shinobi felt a hand of comfort drop to his shoulder. He looked back to Kakashi and nodded calming himself down. Ten-Ten leaped out of the bushes with a still unconscious Sakura and they make there way back down the road in the opposite direction as there unexpected encounter.
So my good PPl what ya think did I do a good job, well leave some reviews for me so I can stop being so excited. Well what are you still readin this for, REVIEW!!!
