All Alone

Chapter Three


Sasuke looked out the window of his hospital bed and noticed Naruto sitting outside. It’s been 4 days since the accident and it turned out Sasuke used to much Chakra that it propelled his wildly off the tree, breaking the small branch as he fell.
“Dobe, what are you doing out there?” The Uchiha called out the open window and Naruto looked back surprised.
“I’m suppose to be here.” Naruto yelled from outside.
“What are you talking about?” Sasuke sighed. “Come in before you answer instead of us yelling back and forth.”
With a pout the blonde made his way through the building and to his teammates room.
“Remember I’m to look after you.” Naruto said.
“That’s when I get out of here.” Sasuke said. “By the way am I staying at my house or yours?”
Naruto had a quizzical look come over his face and went deep into thought.
“It’s not that big of a question.” Sasuke said.
“Shut up! “ Naruto growled and the Uchiha sighed.
“I want to be at my house. I know my way around it better and I’ll be more comfortable.” He said. “Even though I don’t need any help.”
Naruto bristled and his eyes went large and white.
“Hey! I’m not the one who suggested the idea!”
They went silent and Kakashi walked in, noticing the thick atmosphere.
“Were you two fighting?”
The silence answered his question and the sensei sat down.
“Well it’s not going to change the Hokage’s order.” Kakashi said. “Anyways did you two decide which place you’re going to be while you recover?”
“Mine. I think it’ll be better.” Sasuke said.
“I agree.” Kakashi said and Naruto went back to pouting again. “Ninjas don’t pout when they don’t get their way.”
Naruto straightened up at that and put on a brave face.
“Yes Sensei. I’m sorry.” He apologized.
“Don’t worry about it. Now Sasuke you’ll be released in 3 days and Naruto will then stay with you.” Kakashi said. “Naruto you will have to get some things ready, cloths, toothbrush and what not.”
“I know. What about food?” Naruto asked. “Sasuke doesn’t exactly looks like he eats a whole lot.” Sasuke glared but remained silent.
“Hmmm. You’re right.” Kakashi agreed. “Sasuke why don’t you eat like you should?”
With eyes on the Uchiha, he looked at them with an eye twitching and a vein popping out of his neck.
“I eat.”
“But not enough. I think I’ll talk to the Hokage and ask if you can go shopping for anything.” Kakashi said.
Naruto’s eyes brightened and twinkled.
“Anything? Even ramen?” He asked.
“Well yeah and things that Sasuke likes also.” Kakashi asked and then turned to Sasuke. “Naruto will make sure you eat. Even if he has to force you.”
Sasuke’s glare grew deadlier.
“I do eat goddamn it!” Sasuke shouted and Naruto’s jaw dropped to the ground.
“Sasuke calm down.” Kakashi said.
“No! You keep talking that basically I starve myself and need a nurse to cram it down my throat!”
“You swore! That’s the first time I ever heard you swear!” Naruto exclaimed and Kakashi nudged him towards the door.
“Naruto you’re not helping. Give me some time here.” Kakashi said and Naruto left with the shocked expression still on his face.
When Sasuke was alone it was his turn to pout.
