Chpt. 3

Things seem to be getting better between us. I wonder if Sakura is starting to return my affection. This may be the day! This may be the day, she returns my feelings. Please just once let luck flow my way. Please just once, Sakura, return my love!

Sakura, Naruto, Sai, and Captain Yamato all headed out. Everyone, except for Sai, was a little nervous.
“We need to be very cautious. Remember that if we act too soon we could give our position away and lose all hope of finding Sasuke.” Captain Yamato said with his firm voice.
“Hai!” Naruto and Sakura answered simultaneously.
With a quick glance towards the Jinchurican, Yamato wondered if things would really get so out of hand with Naruto that he’d have to suppress the powers of Kyuubi. Hopefully the situation wouldn’t reach that point. But, if it did that was the reason why he was assigned to this mission.

The quad reached the bridge. Everything was silent. Yamato had transformed himelf into Sasori and was walking slowly towards the cloaked man.
‘This is it. Just a little further Captain! We need to find out all information we can so we can get Sasuke-kun back. What will happen when I see him again I don’t know, but we have to find him!’
Sakura was getting more nervous as she thought to herself. What would she do when she saw Sasuke for the first time in a few years.
With a sad glance towards Naruto that had just as eager eyes as she did, she began to get sick to her stomach. Naruto had expressed his love for her and was putting his life on the line to get Sasuke back for her. Now, all she could think about was Sasuke. Sakura began to feel guilty. She knew what it was like to care about someone who didn’t show you love back.
“Naruto…I”
“Shh”
Naruto brought a hand to her mouth and gave her a gentle smile.
“Look! The spy is removing his hood.”
Sakura quickly looked up to the commotion on the bridge. The hood slowly came off and revealed to everyone’s surprise, Kabuto! Sakura, Naruto, and Sai could see them talking. What were they saying? Yamato brought out a kunai quickly as Orochimaru appeared behind Kabuto.
“What are they saying? What’s going on?”
“Calm down Naruto.”
Things weren’t looking good and then it started Orochimaru attacked who they thought to be Sasori. Yamato quickly jumped out of his wooden creation and the battle ensued.
The trio hiding in the bushes rushed to the scene as commanded. Orochimaru daunted them with mockery of how much Sasuke had grown and how strong the young Uchiha had gotten. None-the-less, it didn’t stop Naruto from arguing his worth.
“Shut up! Where is Sasuke? You’ll give him back to us NOW!”
Orochimaru seemed to be teasing him now as his taunting increased. Playing into the evil scheme of the villain Naruto’s emotions were starting to get the best of him. Kyuubi was starting to awaken.
“NARUTO!” Sakura screamed as she watched her friend’s body being engulfed by red chakra taking on the form of the fox inside of him.
Naruto had hit Kabuto causing him to fly backwards into the trees and bolted towards Orochimaru in a furious battle. It wasn’t soon till they were out of site. The bridge was falling as Naruto’s chakra had destroyed the beams. Sakura had hit her head and was falling.
Luckily, Captain Yamato had saved her.
“Sakura?”
Her head was still spinning but, her eyes were starting to open to see the eyes of her captain.
“Sakura are you okay?”
“Uhh…H-hai. What happened?” Sakura looked around but, when she didn’t see Naruto her eyes went wide and she sat up with lightning speed.
“Where’s Naruto!?!”
“He went after Orochimaru.”
“No…he…” The kunoichi stood up quickly and began to run after the direction she heard the battle ensuing at. If not for a strong grip grabbing onto her wrist she would have been off already.
“Captain? NARUTO HE! I have to find him!”
“Sakura calm down. I was assigned to this mission for this exact reason. I’ll take care of it but we need to stay here for now.”
“I WONT LET MY FRIEND GET HURT LIKE THAT! Orochimaru…he…HE COULD KILL HIM!” Sakura was losing composure as she screamed at the teams leader.
“Sakura calm down! That’s an order.”
Tears were welling up in the kunoichi’s eyes.
“Naruto.” She whispered while turning to the direction of the fight.
‘Naruto please be okay! I don’t know what I’d do if anything happened to you. I care about you so much. I think I love you. ONEGAI!’
Out of the trees a figure came crashing through and slammed into the rocks with a sword threatening to puncture skin. Naruto had taken on the complete form of the demon fox; the fourth tail had formed. Sakura stared at her friend that she verily recognized. She had never seen him transform like this.
“Naruto.”
The pink-haired chuunin had a flashback for a quick moment of something the blonde had said to her. It was when they were younger.
“Sakura don’t worry I’ll get Sasuke back for you. I promise.”
“Naruto!”
She took a step forward. Sensing Sakura’s movement, Captain Yamato quickly reached for her, but it was too late, the young woman was already rushing towards Naruto.
“No Naruto it’s okay! You don’t have to get Sasuke back. Remember we’ll do it together. TOGETHER!”
Naruto having lost all control stared at her and one of his tails had loosely come around and slapped her causing her to fly backwards. The Kyuubi’s chakra had flowed into the wound causing severe pain.
Quickly Captain Yamato restrained Naruto from doing any more damage. Orochimaru was leaving along with his faithful dog at his side. Kabuto quickly healed up as much of Sakura as possible before following after his master.
After using his wood jutsu to surpass the powers of Kyuubi and return the blonde back to his normal self, Yamato looked to Sakura to do the rest. With a nod and a hardly audible “hai” Sakura began her work healing Naruto.
“Captain?”
“hmm.”
“Why don’t you go on ahead. When Naruto comes to…I…I’d like to talk to him.”
The kunoichi was doing all she could to hold back her tears. ‘Naruto…Why? Why did you let it get this far? To save Sasuke? Just for me? Am I really worth it?’
Sakura had finished healing her friend that lay on the ground in front of her still knocked out. She couldn’t help but smile at looking at his calm tanned face. Naruto had really grown up in a couple of years and had even matured a lot. He was turning into quite a handsome man.
The kunoichi brought a caressing hand down Naruto’s cheek. His skin was so soft. Her fingers traveled over his lips and she found herself leaning down and gently touching her lips to his, Sakura kissed Naruto.
Pulling back with fluttery eyes, the pink-haired chuunin couldn’t believe what she just did. Naruto had kissed her once before but, right now she wanted him so badly. More tears streamed down her face.
‘Naruto, I…I think I love you.’
Her hand curiously traveled down his firm chest and paused slowly to feel his breathing. Then traveling lower she could feel his hardened muscles.
‘wow he’s done a lot of training.’
A slight smile graced her lips as more tears streamed down her face. Sakura couldn’t believe what she was about to do but, she wanted to give Naruto something for everything he’d done for her. Although, she was sure it was pointless to an extent since he was knocked out cold. Maybe though it’d be easier this way.
Her hand slowly traveled lower. Bringing her other hand to help her the kunoichi unbuttoned the blonde’s pants and unzipped them. Sakura then hitched them down a little and could feel his already hard member pushing at his boxers. A dark blush rose to her cheeks. Pulling Naruto’s erection out of his pants Sakura nearly lost it. The kunoichi wasn’t an idiot she knew from all her classes in medic training, mostly from what her master Tsunade taught, that the substance was pre cum. It helped her hands glide easier, smoother, faster.

A small smile found it’s way to Naruto’s lips, he scrunched down pulling out some medical bandage used to stop bleeding. He wiped at his friend’s hands, cleaning them off. The kunoichi’s eyes looked up at him.
With a chuckle the jinchurican found himself playfully criticizing her, “Now you’re starting to sound like Hinata. Strange.”
“Naruto?”
“Huh?”
“Kiss me!”
“What?”
“I said kiss me. I need to see something.”

And there I was kissing the woman of my dreams so deeply. My lips pressed up to hers closely and hard. Our tongues twisting around each other’s and me pulling away to nip at her bottom lip. A deep romantic passion that was far different from lust.
I pushed her down on the ground and kissed at her neck. My hands clumsily pulled at the zipper on her shirt but, her gentle caressing hands wrapped around my own. She shook her head and I understood. We were on a mission. We had to find Sasuke first.
Then, before I knew, she spoke the most beautiful seven simple words I ever heard her say.
“I want to learn to love you.”
One sacred chant, a word for each day of the week.
