ok, so i want to take this time to thank every one for all the reviews. im glad your liking the story so far. i hope i can just keep it up..

well now the second chapter.

Chapter Two: Time Alone

After Sasuke left Tsunade’s office he went straight to Yamanaka Flower Shop. He wanted to get Naruto’s favorite flowers. Lilies. He loves yellow lillies.

‘Maybe he would understand that I have feelings for him once he see’s these.’ Sasuke thought to himself as he chose 2 ½ dozen of the flowers that Naruto loved so much.

Once he left the flower shop with the yellow lilies wrapped up beautifully in hand, he ran quickly home. ‘Naruto’s favorite. I hope he loves them.’ Sasuke thought as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop trying to get to his home as fast as he could. He wanted his home ready for Naruto when he got there.

‘Yes! Yes! Yes! It’s only 4:45 now. That means I get at least two whole hours alone with my angel. I so hope he loves the flowers.’ Sasuke thought yet again. He let a small smile make its way onto his lips as he thought about the two hours he would spend with his beloved.

His smile grew bigger as he finally landed in front of his house. ‘Naurto should be here soon. I want to set the flowers up where he will be able to see them as soon as he walks in.’ Sasuke thought as he got to work.

He got out three of his mothers favorite vases. He had put them up so that he couldn’t see them. But he believed that right now his angel would love his flowers in them. He just reminded himself that this was all for the man he loved. Otherwise, he would not be doing any of this just see a person smile.

He divided the flowers into the three vases. He put one dozen of the flowers in one of the vases and put it on the end table on the right side of his couch. He put another dozen of the flowers in a vase and put it on the other end table on the other side of the couch. Then he took the last ½ dozen lilies in the last vase and put them in the center of his kitchen table.

“That should do it. Now to get to work cleaning like Naruto asked. He should be here any minute.” Sasuke said to himself as he got out his cleaning supplies and started to get to work. The whole time fantasizing about his hopefully soon to be relationship with his golden skinned, blonde haired, blue eyed god.

After fifteen minutes of cleaning he finally finished. It was while he was putting away the cleaning supplies that he heard a knock at the door. He let his smile show until he reached the door. Before he opened it though he hid his smile and made sure that all the emotions he was feeling was off his face and well hidden.

He opened the door then to see not just one but seven of his beautiful angels. ‘It’s a dream. More than one of my angels. Wow!’ Sasuke thought. He couldn’t be happier to see more than one Naruto. Of course he didn’t let anything show.

The seven Naurto’s had their hands full of decorations so he stood aside to let them in.

“Damn, dobe. What did you do buy the whole store?” Sasuke asked sounding more than a little annoyed at all the things that he would have to do. ‘Damn, the things I do for love.’ He thought.

“Well, not the whole store but pretty close. We had to make sure we had everything for the party.” Naruto said. Naruto’s clones set all of the decorations on the coffee table and then puffed away. ‘Something is different about this place.’ Naruto thought to himself. He turned around and around trying to discern what had changed. That’s when he spotted the lilies. A huge smile lit up his features. ‘Yellow lilies. My favorite. I didn’t know the teme liked flowers much less lilies. Hmm, I wonder why I’ve never seen any around here before.’ Naruto thought to himself.

“So teme, since when did you start liking flowers?” Naruto decided to ask him.

“What you don’t like them?” Sasuke asked casually trying to hide his disappointment.

“No, I love them, they are my favorite. I just wanted to know when you started to like them is all.” He replied.

“I just thought that I could get them to lighten the place up. And I know they are your favorite. You’ve told me a few times before.” Sasuke said hoping that would make Naruto think and maybe realize as to why he got them in the first place.

“Aww! I didn’t know you listened. But I believe I only said that after Sakura told you that they were also her favorite. And I was telling her and not you.” Naruto said unknowingly making Sasuke’s heart hurt at the mention of the one that Naruto claimed to love and making him now want to kill the pink haired girl.

“So you’re telling me that these are not your favorite?” Sasuke asked.

“Why does it matter? And yes they are.” was his reply.

Sasuke was disappointed. He really wanted this to go differently.

“Look are we going to decorate or not. I want this over and done with as soon as possible.” Sasuke said. He turned and grabbed a bag of decorations and got started not waiting to see if his beloved was going to reply or had grabbed a bag and started decorating as well.

They have been working in silence for about twenty minutes. Sasuke was too embarrassed to say anything. He really wanted this whole thing to turn out differently. He was about to say something in order to try and turn this situation around and get it going in the direction he wanted it to go when he heard another knock on his door.

He looked at the clock on the wall to see that it was only going on half past five.

‘Who the hell is that, no one is supposed to be here yet.’ Sasuke thought. He got up and went to the door. When he opened it though he wished he had just ignored it.

Standing on the other side of the door was of course Sakura. The one person he really didn’t want to see at the moment.

“Hey Sasuke-kun. I thought I would come by and offer my assistance in helping you and Naruto with the decorations.” Sakura said with a sweet smile on her face.

‘That bitch is up to something.’ Sasuke thought.

“Hey Sakura-chan. What are you doing here?” Naruto said as he walked to the door to see who was here.

“Well, everyone said that they would be here at exactly seven o’ clock. And I’m going to go get Tsunade and Shizune at about seven fifteen I guess. They think that I’m taking them to dinner for their happy occasion. So I thought since we still have an hour then I could come help you with the decorations.” She said not taking her eyes off of Sasuke.

“Oh and I just ran into Neji and Lee. They should be by with the food in about twenty minutes or so.” She said.

‘Oh great, someone else to ruin my alone time with Naruto’ Sasuke thought glaring at nothing in particular.

“Well I’m glad you’re here Sakura-chan, we can use all the help we can get. When Neji and Lee get here we can get them to help too.” Naruto replied.

‘Damnit, why does this world hate me so damn much.’ Sasuke thought glaring at Sakura hoping that it would make Sakura catch fire or something.

They all walked into the living room to get to work when they heard Sakura squeal (yes squeal). She saw the flowers and of course her mind jumped to conclusions.

‘Oh my favorite flowers. He must have got them for me. So that he could think of me when he is alone.’ Sakura thought. She was so happy that her Sasuke had got her favorite flowers just to impress her.

“Oh Sasuke-kun, did you get these for me?” Sakura asked already knowing the answer so instead of waiting for a reply she jumped on him showering him with kisses. “So does this mean that you would be my date to the party tonight? OH YES YOU ARE YOU ARE. IM SO HAPPY.” Sakura said. “I HAVE TO GO TELL INO.” And with that she ran out of the house and down the road.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA” Naruto was rolling around on the floor laughing his ass off. He just couldn’t stop. The look on the teme’s face was just priceless.

“What the hell.” Sasuke said. He looked at Naruto as he rolled on the floor. “ I am not going to be her date. And why are you so happy I thought she was the love of your life. At least she used to be.” Sasuke said. There was a hint of hope in his eyes but thankfully he squashed it before his love could see it.

“Yeah your right she used to be. Ok, I’m going to tell you this if you promise never to tell anyone ever again.” Naruto said as he finally got his laughing to stop and he looked to Sasuke for a response.

“Hn.” was the only response that he got.

“Well I’ll take that as a yes then. Well, I kind of realized a couple years back that I wasn’t exactly in love with her, and that I was just trying to cover up for the fact that I am gay. Ok, there I said it. I finally told someone. And I feel so much better and if you ever tell another living soul I will cut off your balls and fry them up and eat them for dinner, understood.” Naruto said. He looked at Sasuke hoping that he didn’t just lose his best friend.

“HN.” Was all that Sasuke said as he turned around and got back to work. The smile on his face going unnoticed, his mind going rampant with visions of a naked Naruto doing something with is balls and his mouth but cutting them off and frying them had nothing to do with it. He could feel himself getting hard just by thinking of it. He had to stop and get rid of the developing hardness between his legs before he is caught. So he thought of the most disgusting thing he could think of: Sakura doing the same thing. That brought it down really fast.

They both got back to work. Both wondering about what would happen next in their relationship. Sasuke thinking of course that it was one more step to making Naruto his and Naruto hoping he didn’t lose his best friend or make things weird between them.

Naruto thought that the reaction he just got told him that no he didn’t lose his friend but it would be awhile before he can get used to it. But at least he didn’t lose him. He doesn’t know what he would do with out Sasuke in his life.

About five minutes later there was yet another knock on the door. Sasuke was getting really annoyed.
‘Damnit, does the universe hate me this much. That’s it, that must be it. There must be so higher power somewhere who has decided to have some fun at my expense. I’m sure they are have a great big laugh right about now. Well I’ll show them. I’ll make Naruto mine. And then I’ll find whoever it is and kill them.’ Sasuke thought as he went to open the door only to have his mood darken even more. ‘It’s official someone hates me and wants me to suffer. Damn them.’ Sasuke thought and glared at the two people standing on his door step.

“Lee, Neji. Great you guys are here. Take the food into the kitchen and then come help Sasuke and me set up the decorations. Then we can set up the food. Sasuke are you going to move to let them in?” Naruto said as he came to help them carry the bags in seeing as their arms were full of them.

“Of course Naruto-kun. We will be delighted.” Lee said as he skipped (yes, skipped. It just seemed like something he would do) his way into the kitchen.

After they put all the food and the drinks into the kitchen they all went into the living room and started working on the decorations.

Ten Minutes Until Party Time:

“Finally, we are finished. Thank you guys so much for your help.” Naruto said. He was sitting on the couch trying to relax before the people started to arrive for the party.

“THAT WAS NO PROBLEM. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN TOMORROW IF I WAS ASKED.” Lee practically screamed while doing his famous pose that he got from Gai.

Knock. Knock.

“Well, I guess it’s time for us to start the party. Let’s go Lee, Neji, Sas-, hey where did Sasuke go?” Naruto shrugged and went to answer the door.

Upstairs:

Sasuke was pissed. All he wanted was to spend time alone with his golden angel. But no everyone decided that he couldn’t do that.

‘First the pink haired bitch shows up and just yells out that I was to be her date tonight. Like hell. I will never be her date much less her boyfriend. I know that’s what she wants. And I also know that she will stop at nothing until she gets what she wants.’

‘And then that long haired freak Neji and the scary looking Lee show up. And just like that my alone time with my love is shot. When will be the next time I’ll get to be alone with him. This was the only time. I can’t ask him to spend time alone with me. I’m an Uchiha damnit. And Uchihas don’t ask that shit. Fuck, why do the universe hate me so much. Why. What did I ever do to them.’

He heard the knock on the door and Naruto asking where he went.

“Well it sounds like the party is starting downstairs. I better get down there or I will never hear the end of it from Naruto. That and Sakura will probably come looking for me. And I really don’t want her in my room.” Sasuke said to himself.

He opened his bedroom door and was heading down to the party when….

“SASUKE-KUN, YOUR DATE IS HERE. COME ON SWEETY HURRY UP. WE NEED TO GO GET TSUNADE AND SHIZUNE. I TOLD THEM THAT YOU WERE GOING TO BE MY DATE. AND THEY ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. SO HURRY UP.” Sakura screamed up the stairs.

Sasuke could feel a throbbing start in the back of his head. ‘This is going to be a long painful night. That dobe better be thankful for it in the morning.’ Sasuke thought as he made is way downstairs.
