The Goth and The Jock

"Um.. want to watch a uh movie or something? Naruto isn't coming home until nine today," he said when he took his shoes and jacket back off.

"Um...alright.." Gaara said and walked over and sat down on the couch, he reached up rubbing his cheek a little.

"Uh, what kind of movies do you like?" inquired the other man as he walked over and knelt down next to a stack of movies on the floor next to the TV stand.

"Horror.." Gaara said and started thinking about a talk he had with Naruto a long time ago.

Lee sweat dropped, "umm alright.." he put in the only horror film that Naruto and he owned and he got up sitting on the other side of the couch a cushion between him and Gaara. 'Relax.. do not flip out Lee.. the horror is not real...' He thought to himself not wanting to seem weak to the redhead.

Gaara rested his head back on the couch. "I have not seen this one." He said and folded his arms over his chest.

"I-it is Naruto-kun's but I am sure that he does not mind us watching it.." Lee jumped when a girl screamed right off the bat but then started laughing because she was only scared by her friends. His body scooted closer to the smaller frame next to him as he tried to be close to someone getting freaked out by the movie.

Gaara tilted his head watching the movie not noticing Lee had moved closer. "I have always liked horrors movies." He said and smiled a little.

"Y-yeah me uh too.." Lee muttered out. 'Gah.. this is scary.. why am I telling him i like them?? I mean.. do i really want him to except me..?' Lee thought scooting even close to the redhead until they are right next to each other.

Gaara laughed at a gory part on the movie. "This is a old film the blood looks so fake." Gaara said smirking.

Lee looked away from the screen and gripped onto the side of Gaara's sweater a bit. 'Er.. sorry.. I know you said do not er fucking touch me before.." He murmured out.

Gaara blushed and looked away as well rubbing his elbow. "Um..w-well as long as you are not trying to...h-harm me I guess its..uh ok." Gaara muttered. "Though I c-can't understand why you would want to.." He said under his breath.

"Er.. well I do not know.. I mean.. I enjoy it.." lee reached up and turned Gaara's head to look at him wanting to keep his own mind off of the scary movie. he leaned in and went to press his lips to Gaara's eyes closed, not being able to keep his hands off Gaara.

Gaara felt his breath catch in his throat but after remembering something he pulled away blushing deeply. "L-Lee...wait.." He said and bit his lip remember Naruto's words from awhile ago. 'Oh yeah fuzzy-brows worked really hard for his reputation, he used to be picked on and beat up but now he is finely accepted.' Naruto had said. Gaara bit his lip harder and looked down. 'If Lee got with me..it would ruin all the hard work he put in to get his reputation...' Gaara thought and turned back to look at the movie.

Lee winced, 'too soon? ..Ugh I messed it up.. gah.. forget it.. he obviously does not like you Lee.. maybe you should stick to girls...' He thought to himself as he got up rubbing his face with a sigh. "Sorry Gaara-kun.. um would you like some popcorn?" he asked.

Gaara looked down and nodded, it really hurt him to pull away from Lee, he had finely figured out how he felt about him but he didn't want Lee to be unhappy. "Its ok Lee..." He replied and pulled his legs onto the couch and sighed.

The older man made popcorn and came back in setting the popcorn next to Gaara. He then sat on the floor and started to think about stuff, ignoring the blood curdling screams coming from the TV.

Gaara looked at Lee and looked down again. "So you gonna not be next to me now..." Gaara said sounding a little hurt.

Lee looked up quickly, "No no! I just.. I figured you would not want you sitting by me.. that is all.." He replied getting up. "Do you want me to?" He asked.

Gaara nodded and fainting blushing. "We are friends...right?" He asked and rubbed his elbow.

After moving the bowl lee plopped down next to Gaara again and nodded, "Yes, Yes are, now." He said with a wide grin.

Gaara blushed and nodded. "Yeah...though if you piss me off I will still kick your ass." He said playfully and elbowed him smirking.

Lee coughed, "Try, I would win." He smiled and laughed while playfully pushing Gaara onto the couch.

"Gah!" Gaara fell over on the couch then blinked looking at Lee. "Heh.." He jumped as the door opened and looked up seeing Naruto.

Lee blushed faintly and got off the couch shutting off the scary movie. "Hey Naruto-kun.. why are you home a bit early?" He asked somewhat confused.

Naruto set his bat next to the door and slipped off his shoes walking over to them. "My team wanted to go to a bar so I came back here.. GAARA!" Naruto walked over and pulled Gaara off the couch looking at his cheek. "Who hit you this time?" Naruto asked looking worried. "Naruto shh.." Gaara said and looked down, he smiled when his friend hugged him. "Why do you keep getting into so many fights?" Naruto asked sighing.

"His ex hit him Naruto.. and if he does it again I will find him and beat the crap out of him.." Lee wanted to think but he accidentally said it then sweat dropped and rubbed the back of his neck.

Gaara glanced back at Lee looking surprised then looked back up at Naruto who snuggled him. "Sasuke? How did you run into him?? And you better hope you find him before I do or I will use my bat!...wait are you two friends?" He asked looking at Lee.

Lee nodded but quickly changed the subject back, "Wait, his ex's name is Sasuke?" He inquired to Naruto.

Naruto nodded and hugged Gaara tighter. "He won't leave Gaara alone.." He muttered and patted his friend on the back

"Thank you Naruto," Lee said with a slight smirk as he walked over and pulled out a phone book. "Mind giving me a last name..?" He asked his voice going back to it's pissed. "And.. I do not think Gaara likes you that close too long.." He murmured then thought, 'and I do not like you that close..'

"Wha? I always cuddle Gaara!" Naruto said snuggling the redhead who sweat dropped but didn't pull away. "He used to kick the crap out of me when I first tried but now he don't, I love my little best friend!" He said messing up Gaara's hair. "Gah stop messing with my hair!" Gaara said but smiled a little. The two of them had met 4 years ago when they were kids..back when Gaara hated everyone and never smiled. Gaara had been kicked out of his house when he was 15 and stayed with Hidan till he was able to get his own place.

"You did not answer my first question Naruto.. and please let Gaara-kun go?" He asked glancing over at the two of his friend, one of them a little more then that, but he had to push those feelings away.

"Uchiha. Why are you looking up his name?" Naruto asked and hugged the redhead again before sitting down pulling Gaara down next to him on the couch. Gaara was rubbing his cheek again and Naruto was texting.

"Because then I can get his address," Lee said with a chuckle as he flipped the book to the U section and found Sasuke's name, writing down his address on a piece of paper very quickly.

Gaara was zoning out and trying to stay awake, he was so tired. Naruto tilted his head and looked up at Lee. "What are you planing?" He asked and then looked at Gaara. "Falling asleep sitting up again?" He said and carefully pulled Gaara up and lead him back to his room, he came back out a moment later and took off his hat running a hand through his blond hair.

I am just going to go have an innocent talk with Sasuke, I will be back later tonight, See you Naruto." Lee said as he left the house. Later that night Lee came home and sighed to himself as he went to the bathroom and cleaned up his bloody lip.

"What? What do you mean you got drunk? Told you going with the team to the bar was stupid!" Naruto was saying into his phone looking annoyed. "Sai I keep telling you to stop doing stupid crap!...Yes I am still hanging out with Gaara. Fuck my reputation." Naruto shut his phone then looked at the bathroom door. "So how did your talk go?" Naruto asked.

"Sai-san being stupid again?" Lee asked then held up the bloody rag, "and how do you think Naruto-kun?" He asked frowning.

"Yes he is always being stupid...Jeez fuzzy-brows you ok?" Naruto asked and stood up to walk over to his friend. "That looks like it hurts dude."

"At the time no.. but now yes.. that Sasuke guy is a real jerk.." He said moving around Naruto to the kitchen grabbing a water bottle from the fridge drinking some of it, "gaara-kun is still asleep right?"

"Yeah he's really tired, he didn't sleep last night." Naruto replied and crossed his arms behind his head.

"Good do not tell him this happened please. And why did he not sleep?" Lee asked a bit concerned for his secret love.

"Alright...he read a letter from his siblings and was kinda upset." Naruto said and walked over to the fish tank getting the little bottle of fish food and feeding them.

"What is with his family.. he kind of keeps shut up.. but i would like to know.. his past seems like a mystery.. what happened to his dad and his mom and why are his siblings never around..?" Lee inquired being very curious.

"Well...his dad is kinda fucked up..he would beat Gaara cuz he hated him for the fact redhead's mother died giving birth to him..when he was 4 his uncle tried to kill him.. so that messed him up really bad and he really hated everyone.. when he turned 15 he was able to fight back if his dad tried to hurt him so his dad kicked him out and banned his siblings from ever seeing him, I met Gaara when he came to this town and yeah.. he got a job at Hidan's place and that’s how things have been going till now." Naruto's eyes were sad as he spoke and when he was done he glanced at his bedroom door.

The other person looked to the wooden door as well before letting his gaze fall down to the floor. "Oh...That is very.. er messed up.." He said unable to think of what else to say. He had no idea Gaara life was like that. Now he felt bad for pushing him away when they first met, he thought Gaara really needed more friends than he had.

"Yeah...I'm happy you two are friends now." Naruto said and yawned looking tired. "Want to go met up with everyone at lunch?" He asked stretching.

"Everyone as in..?" Lee questioned as he walked over to the couch and laid on it, resting his arm over his forehead as he let out a sigh trying to relax.

"Kiba, Shino, Hinata, Ninja, TenTen. You know.. everybody!" Naruto said grinning.

"Hm alright, fine with me." Lee said as he shut his eyes and yawned. "I think I am going to sleep on the couch tonight.." He said stretching out barely fitting on their couch.

"Your to tall for it." Naruto said and throw a pillow at his friend. "Night night!" He said and walked into his bedroom to go to bed, he laid next to Gaara and sighed. 'Whats it gonna take for you two to admit your feelings.' Naruto thought and pulled the blanket over his sleeping friend.

Lee fell asleep on the couch with the pillow under his head, oddly wanting to sleep on the couch just so he was that much closer to Gaara.
