The next morning
Naruto woke up to warm arms holding him. He thought about Itachi and what this feeling meant to him.
Naruto smiled, curling into Itachi. The older ravens arms tightened around him.
“Naruto, when you wake up again I might be gone.”

The sword flew into Sasukes shoulder. He felt as the bone cracked under pressure, the blade tearing a path through his flesh. He stayed silent as Itachi began to slice his arm down the middle.
“I want to kill you, but I can’t.” He slowly pulled the sword out. “Naruto wouldn’t want me to. I ever see you again your life is forfeited.”
Itachi turned and started to walk away, but was stopped by his brothers voice.
“Tell him I’m sorry and thank him for my life.”
Itachi started to walk again not bothering to turn back.

Sasuke POV
‘It’s over now.’ Sasuke thought as he held his arm together.
He walked down the path toward a man he didn’t even know would be there or not. He got to the house and looked though the gates surrounding it.
“What do you want?” Neji asked, Sasuke didn’t even have to turn around to know whose voice it was.
“You and your love.” He answered.
There was silence and Sasuke really didn’t expect forgiveness from Neji or anyone else. Love was definitely out of the question.
“Come in and let me look at your arm.”
