Going Home

This is the conclusion chapter ( I know the site isn't very good about making WIP's and finished stories. So I'll just tell you all that this si the last chapter. Enjoy!)
The morning sun poured through Gaara’s long windows. The dawn had broken over the country of the sand and the glass doors to the balcony were open. The low rumble of the ocean could be heard in the distance as Tenten stirred in bed. She awoke to find Gaara fully dressed and sitting on the edge of the bed beside her. He had a white lily in his hand.
“This is for you. A bunch of them were picked fresh this morning.” He told her handing her the flower. He looked lovely this morning clad in white and scarlet. Tenten slowly rose up to her elbows, she was dreadfully sore.
“Thank you.” She said yawning, she wiped the sleep from her eyes and allowed Gaara to place the lily behind her ear, it was setting nicely in her hair. “Wow…I’m really worn out this morning.” She told him allowing herself to sink into his pillows. Gaara looked at her; his face was kind and unharming.
“You should be. Last night was wonderful. I’m only sorry that you must return to your country today.” Gaara told her lying down beside her. Tenten smiled.
“I may return someday, or you may come to Konohagakure and if you do, I’ll treat you with the same hospitality.” Tenten reassured him.
“Very well then.” Gaara said to her. Tenten sat up and got dressed. She placed the lily in her hair on his bed.
“I’ll leave this lily here, this way it shall serve as a memory of our night together.” Tenten said. It made Gaara smile, he liked that. The gesture was very kind of her and Gaara wasn’t used to kindness. In order to keep suspicions low Gaara left his bedroom before Tenten. But he couldn’t resist stealing one more kiss from her before she left with her team for the trip back to Konoha.
Neji and Lee were packed and waiting for Tenten to meet up with them. Gaara approached them. They were sitting in the large meeting room where Gaara often met with diplomats.
“Thank you for your travels here. I feel that progressed will be made.” Gaara said to both Neji and Lee.
“It’s out pleasure to have been your guests and to assist. Please, let us keep in touch about this matter.” Neji told him. Tenten soon emerged from a location known only to Gaara.
“Tenten! You’re ready!” Lee said bouncing up from his sitting position. She smiled.
“Well, goodbye Hyuuga Neji, Rock Lee.” Gaara paused. “Goodbye Tenten.” Gaara eyed her all over and Tenten affectionately returned his stares. Neither Neji or Lee noticed. As Neji and Lee turned to walk out the open door. Tenten quickly glance around and kissed Gaara hastily on the cheek. She thought she saw him blush a little. And then, she was gone.
It was a nice day to return to Konoha. The sun was high in the sky and the route home was clear. “Hey, Lee why don’t you run ahead and look at those signs, find out where the closest route home is.” Neji told him. It was actually just an excuse to get Lee out of the way for a moment. He graciously agreed to do so and scurried off quickly.
“I know what you did last night.” Neji said softly to Tenten. Tenten’s eyes became wide and her face turned as red as Gaara’s hair.
“What do you mean you know what I did!?” Tenten asked nervously.
“It’s okay Tenten, relax. Come on, you never turn me down. Never before have you turned me down, I know you went to bed with him.” Neji said to her. Tenten was speechless, god Neji was good at figuring things out. “So….how was he?” Neji asked her. He was smiling all over. Tenten laughed, she couldn’t believe he was asking her this.
“Well, he was a virgin. But, he was…I don’t know…not so virginal in his actions.” Tenten was still laughing.
“Gaara? A virgin? Are you serious?” Neji was surprised. Neji laughed. “You de-virginized the Kazekage! I’m so never going to shut up about this!” Neji told her. He teasingly pushed her. Tenten laughed again.
“No Neji! You can’t tell anyone about it!” She pleaded with him. She pinched the hell out of his neck.
“I won’t! Don’t worry; I’m just going to torment you like crazy about it.” He laughed again. “You slept with the Kazekage.” He repeated. “That’s my new excuse for everything!
“Shut up Neji! Lee’s coming back this way.” She slapped him but she couldn’t keep from laughing. She had to regain her composure by the time they reunited with Lee.
“You slept with the Kazekage.” Neji lipped to her. She rolled her eyes. Honestly, she was glad Neji knew, besides she had to share her experiences with someone…might as well be him.
