Chapter Four

“Well Sasuke how are you doing this morning?” Tsunade asked the quiet young man.
“….”
“The guards told me you’ve been screaming in your sleep lately.”
Sasuke broke eye contact from her and stared at the marble floor. Clearing her throat , Tsunade put a hand on his shoulder.
“You know Sasuke, I think you’re ready to leave this place.” She said.
“Really? But wasn’t the Uchiha mansion taken after I…left?” Sasuke asked, finally looking at her.
“Well yes it was, by the Hyugga family. I tried to get ass wipe to hand it back over, but it won’t happen.” She said.
“So where am I to live then?” Tsunade gave him a big smile at his question and Sasuke wasn’t sure if that was good or bad.
“Naruto offered that you can stay with him.” She said and wiggled her eyebrows.
“Why? Does he think I’m pathetic or something?” Sasuke snorted, not picking up on her subtle gestures.

‘I guess Sasuke’s innocent in that area after all.’ Tsunade thought with slanted eyes and brought her attention back to him.
“Naruto is being nice, you should be grateful.” She said.
“Hmmm. I suppose you’re right.” Sasuke finally said and the Hokage nearly fell over.
“Well Sasuke we’ll make the arrangements and you’ll be able to get out of this place within a few days.” Tsunade said and Sasuke still didn’t notice her tone of voice.

“Do you know about sex Sasuke?” She asked and his eyes went wide.
“What!? What the hell kind of question is that!?” He yelled.
“I was just curious.”
“I only know from when Itachi use to force himself on me and molest me when no one was around! Is that what you wanted to hear!?” Sasuke shouted and went quiet with trembling breathing.

Tsunade began to wring her hands. She had inklings that Itachi may have touched his younger brother from what Sasuke told her before, but she never imagined he was raped.
“I’m sorry Sasuke. I wasn’t thinking.” She apologized. “You don’t have to worry about him anymore, I’ll make sure he never touched you again.”
She wrapped her arms around the trembling sitting boy and soon felt tears on her chest.
She would be the mother he had lost. The only one to see him break down like this and she knew she would give her life to protect him.

Sasuke fell asleep after crying himself out and she left him to go back to the records vault. She never imagined the Uchiha family to have so many files on them, but she had to find out if Fuguku was really his father or if Itachi was lying about that as well.

A few days passed and now Sasuke was moved into the blondes place. Thought it wasn’t big, the Uchiha was glad to be out of that prison, even if guards were placed nearby. It was more of a request of some of the villagers than Tsunade distrusting him.

“Hey teme what are you thinking about?” Naruto asked and Sasuke looked over at the hyper boy.
“Why do you call me that?”
“Huh? Well I won’t if it bothers you.” Naruto said with a pout.
“I could care less, I was just wondering why you call me that even now.”
“Sasuke don’t get all brooding and full of angst. Everyone makes a mistake and everyone has a good reason for what they do.” Naruto said and looked at his friend.

“Why did you go with Orochimaru anyways?” Naruto saw a flicker in those dark eyes, any normal ninja wouldn’t have noticed it, but he did. In that split second he saw anger, anguish, and even fear.
“I wanted power.” Sasuke said softly. “Power to destroy my brother Itachi once and for all.”
“Why would you want to kill your only brother?” Naruto asked, leaning forward to hear him.
“He killed our clan until I was the only one left.” Naruto’s eyes went wide and Sasuke looked away.
“Shit, I’m sorry. I had no idea it was your brother.” Naruto said softly and put a soothing hand on the other teens shoulder.
Sasuke pulled away from the touch and Naruto saw the panicked look in those eyes.
“Did I do something?” Naruto asked quizzically.
“…No. I’m sorry. You just…startled me.” Sasuke said and went to where he was going to be sleeping.

Naruto watched him walk away and shook his head.
‘What was that all about? I wasn’t touching him wrong.’ He thought.
‘Even thought you want to.’ Kyubbi spoke to him and he groaned.
‘So what if I do? I’m not going to do anything to hurt him.’
‘You should tell him that you lust for him.’
‘I don’t just lust for him. I love him. Also it’s too soon to tell him my feelings, he needs time to readjust to everything.’ Naruto said to him and that made Kyubbi go quiet.
