The Best Thing

Chapter Four


Sasuke growled as he nursed his injured shoulder and glared at the two figures who took him and put him in a cell.
“If you don’t let Noraki heal you, you’ll bleed to death Sasuke Uchiha.” Yu said at the caged man.
“Fuck you!” Sasuke yelled.
“I won’t harm you sexy, I just want to help you.” Noraki said with a silky voice and his blue eyes sparkled with lustful interest.
“If you don’t cooperate with us we will go after your baby and kill her instead of taking her with us.” Yu said.
“Yu…that’s over doing it.” Noraki said as he noticed the raven’s eyes widen.
“You…wouldn’t dare!?” Sasuke seethed.
“Try me. I’ll kill her and your lover Naruto.” Yu said with his cold blood red eyes and Sasuke looked between them.
“You promise you won’t hurt them if I do what you want?” Sasuke asked as tears welled up.
“I promise.” Yu nodded and Noraki knew he would never go back on a promise.
“Fine.” Sasuke said, defeat clear on his face and in his droopy shoulders.
Noraki came into the cell and used his chakra to heal the wounds on the Uchiha.
“Yu you are an asshole sometimes. I mean threatening to kill a fucking newborn? That’s low…even for you.” Noraki spat.
After he was done healing Sasuke was locked up again and Yu grabbed his partner.
“Who gave you the right to yell at me like that?” Red eyes squinted.
“I didn’t yell.” Noraki said calmly and brushed the hand off his arm.
Sasuke watched as the two had a glaring match before the smaller blue haired man punched the other man out of the room.
“Don’t worry, no harm will come to your family.” Noraki said before leaving.
Sasuke sat on the small bed and let the tears come freely, wondering if he was ever going to see Naruto or Hana again.

Meanwhile Naruto sat in Tsunade’s office, his blue eyes bloodshot and keeping his eyes on the sleeping baby. Everyone knew what had happened…well at least that Sasuke was forcefully taken and the blood test proved it was his.
“So far we haven’t came up with anyone that would have done this.” Tsunade said.
“I don’t care who took him, whoever it is I’m going to kill them!” Naruto spat with red tinged eyes.
“I know how you feel Naruto, but….” Sakura began.
“No you don’t! Sasuke was the only one that truly loved me, gave me a child and now is gone! You don’t get it, none of you do!” Naruto yelled and broke down into sobs.
“Sasuke is going to be all right.” Kakashi said softly. “He may not have done any training for the past 7 months, but he’s a ninja and ones body doesn’t forget the training.”
“I’m going to search for him.” Naruto said sniffling.
“No Naruto, you have a baby to take care of.” Tsunade said and Naruto’s shift gazed back to the little girl who amazingly was still asleep.
“…Fine, but I get to kill the people that did this.”
“We’ll take about it when they’re captured.” Tsunade sighed. “Now go home and get some sleep. Don’t worry about cleaning the place up, there’s a team there already doing it and they are going to stay so nothing happens.” She said.
Naruto grimaced as he stood up, taking Hana and left, knowing there was no room for debate he went back to the now clean apartment. After putting Hana in her crib he laid on the bed and instantly fell asleep.
