Sasuke entered the gates of Konoha running with the seemingly lifeless Hyuuga hieress. While running at full speed towards the hospital he was seen by a servant of the Hyuuga household whom was out getting something for that night's dinner. Seeing how the ex-traitor was carrying her boss's daughter she rapidly got her things she needed and ran for the Hyuuga compound.

"Naruto you baka..... why did you have to pin problem on me...?" Sasuke asked with a very frantic face.

Konoha Hospital

"Tsunade-sama! Shizune-san! I need help, Hinata was hurt during our mission pretty bad." Sasuke yelled as he entered the hospital

"Tell me the details later right now we need to get this girl so fast first aid or else that cut's gonna get pretty nasty. Hey you guys get me an empty room now" Tsunade quickly commanded.

"Hai, Hokage-sama. Room 221 is the closest, empty room in the hospital." the med-nin replied.

"Ok Sasuke thanks for bringing her back as fast as you can now it's up to the medical-nins to fix her up. Tell me the details of the mission when the teams return and are your team members all right?" asked the big chested Hokage.

"They're fine, Sakura and me have minor cuts and bruised here and there. And Naruto seems to have an arm injury of some sort. They'll be here in no later than 10 minutes." Sasuke replied.

"Well keep and eye out for them and when they come in tell Sakura to come help me out in room 201." said as she turned around to go help Hinata.

"Hai, Tsunade-sama." he replied while sticking out his tounge at her back. 'Kami this bitch is so demanding, hopefully Sakura isn't this bitchy when we.....' then stopped thinking when he realized what he was thinking.

After waiting for around ten minutes Sasuke heard the familiar noise of the blonde and pinkette bickering and decided to go out and see what all the fricking fuss was about. As he came closer to the registration desk he saw them fighting over who would see her first.

"I need to see her first Sakura-chan, it's my responsiblity after what happened." Naruto argued

"Naruto I need to go in there 'cause Tsunade-sama may need my help." Sakura argued back

"Sakura. Tsunade has requested that you go in there and help her out with getting Hinata better. Dobe you have to wait until they're done fixin her up till u can see her." Sasuke said as he got a smile from Sakura and a glare from the unusually depressed blondie.

As Sakura left the lobby Naruto and Sasuke sat down near the 200 wing to wait for further instructions. Naruto was unlike himself and Sasuke could realize that he was really worried about Hinata. Then Naruto did something that surprised even Sasuke, he began to cry. Salty sadness began to go down his cheeks and Sasuke stared at him with his eyes opened wide with surprise but also with understandment.

'Wow Naruto crying.... I thought I would never live to see the day. He must be feeling really bad for what happened.' Sasuke thought as he put his arm on Naruto's shoulder.

"Huh, Sasuke? What's up?" Naruto asked as he wiped the tears and broke a fake smile to get Sasuke off of his back.

"Naruto I've never seen you cry. Usually you see others cry and try to make them feel better." Sasuke said as tears began to collect in his eyes also. "You're that worried about that girl?"

"It's not just that girl, it's Hinata-chan a person very special to me. I can't believe how stupid and worthless I am... I couldn't protect her. If I can't even keep my friends from getting hurt how am I ever going to become Hokage?" Naruto whined, burrying his face in his hands.

"Naruto it couldn't be helped... just get ahold of yourself this isn't like you. You are the strongest person that I have ever met. You are stonger than all of the ninja in this village combined because the will of fire that you Konoha inherited from the past Hokages burns the greatest in you. You never give up and when things seem to be at
the worst you try even harder." Sasuke comforted Naruto.

"Now I know why you're my best friend Sasuke. Thanks a lot" Naruto replied as he gave Sasuke a hug.

"Umm Naruto I hate to break it to ya but, I'm not gay.... you can let go of me now." Sasuke said with a big blush on his face. 'KAMI why did he do this? Hopefully Sakura doesn't see this.... I don't wanna make it seem like I'm cheating on her with my best friend. Wait since why do I consider me and Sakura....'

"Umm Sasuke don't forget about those times that we did stuff together. Like when you would come to my house for a 'sleepover' and those times we went on missions alone when Sakura wasn't around."

"Shut up dobe! Hey here comes Sakura!"

"Hey umm I have a question to ask you guys, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS MAKING OUT?" Sakura asked just as Inner Sakura was going crazy. 'WTF??!?!?!?!? Naruto steals Sasuke's first kiss and now he's getting some of that man again???'

"We're not!!!!" they both yelled as they let go of each other.

"Well Hinata is healed now. I think you guys can go see her now. And I heard that the other search teams came back now. Kiba-kun and Shino-san are rounding up all the group and they're gonna come by later. Another thing.... has anyone told her family that she's here? That grinch Hiashi's gonna kick someone's ass when he finds out nobody told him." Sakura said as she imagined Hiashi breaking half of the hospital on the way to Hinata's room.

"Well me and the dobe are gonna go see Hinata." Sasuke said still kind of nervous from the hug Naruto gave him.

"Yea I'll be there in 20 minutes I gotta go to Ino's and get Hinata some flowers." Sakura said as she gave the two friends another suspicious look.

Room 221

Hinata was sleeping peacefully as the duo came into the room. She had a cast on her arm and bandages on her left leg. She didn't have the same look of pain as she did from before. Naruto could not help but look at her and feel ashamed about her state. He was injured too but his arm healed pretty fast because of Sakura's healing powers and the Kyuubi's powers.

"Poor girl..." Sasuke commented but didn't get to finish because Naruto looked at him sort of angry.

"Well I'm going to stay by her side the whole time she's here. It's the least I can do since I left her like this."

"Well I gotta go find Tsunade and give her my report on the "mission" that we just failed. See ya later dobe the whole gang will be here later." Sasuke said as he opened the door revealing Hyuuga Hiashi's angered face.

"You bastard what have you done to my daughter" he yelled at Sasuke. "I knew a traitor like you could never be trusted and you still have the guts to come here after what you did to her. Byakugan!" as the veins tensed near his eyes he gave Sasuke a palm to the heart and he flew into the hallway bleeding from his mouth.

"Sasuke!" Naruto yelled as he ran to his side. "What the fuck is your problem? He didn't do anything!"

"Don't play with me insolent child. Many have reported to me that he was carrying my injured daughter and I was told that he was the one that hurt her." Hiashi confidently defended himself as his veins calmed down.

"No it wasn't him, she was hurt during a mission. Your sources suck and being a member of the "high society" you should have better manners you stupid bastard" Naruto said as he just spoke without thinking.

"Child watch your tounge. And that boy don't worry about him... he'll be fine as long as he gets some CPR. I'm not an idiot like some people in this village, I know if I killed this boy that bitch of a Hokage we have would have my head." he said in his usual angry voice.

"So my master's a bitch now?" Sakura asked in an annoyed voice. "Naruto what's wrong with Sasuke?"

"This bastard knocked him out. He says he'll be fine with some CPR..."

"Well I'll get him into a room and treat him. And Hiashi I suggest you leave this place at once, even if your daughter is here she is fine. You don't want my master figuring out what you said about her do you?" Sakura asked nonchallantly.

"That is fine by me tell her if that is your wish. I have come to see my daughter and now know she is fine." he stated as he exited the room.

"Naruto I'm going into the next room to help out Sasuke-kun..." Sakura said as she lifted the boy as he were a feather. Sakura exited and Naruto pulled a chair up to Hinata's bed.

"Hinata-chan...." Naruto wearily said as he pushed her silky indigo hair out of her face. "Wow Hinata, you are so pretty, how come I never took the time to notice? I promise you I'll be there forever whenever you need help. I owe you my life and that is a debt that can never be repayed." he said as he sat there admiring her beauty.

'Na....ru...to-kun.... could it be th...that you c....are about me' Hinata wearily said in her dreams.

Room 223

"Sasuke-kun" Sakura whispered

She put her lips to his and began to blow in breaths and pump his chest. Slowly she saw that color was coming back to his pale face. After a couple of minutes of breathing and pumping she could see that he would regain consciousness. Then something caught her by surprise. On her final breath that she gave him he kissed her back. Sakura jumped back off of him.

"Sakura I'm so sorry I don't know why I did that." Sasuke tried to defend himself.

"Sasuke its fine I... you just caught me by surprise"

"Well I do know why I did it.... Sakura I love you. But ever since what I did to you and Naruto a couple of years back I was afraid I would hurt someone again." Sasuke said looking down on the floor.

"Well Sasuke I don't want to rush you into anything...." then she was slienced by another kiss. His warm tongue going into her mouth. She let her mouth open wider and she stuck tongue into his mouth. She ran her fingers through his raven hair. He would gladly touch her if he could but Hiashi's attack made it painful to move his limbs. She never kissed anyone in her life and was glad it was with him. He nipped her tongue a bit and she let a small wimper out. After 2 minutes of straight kissing she finally let his lips go.

"Umm Sakura I can't move. Do you think I'll have to stay here?" Sasuke asked with a goofy look in his face most likely from the breathtaking kiss they just exchanged.

"Yea Sasuke-kun you will have to. But at least we'll be able to see each other every day. Let's get you checked up and into a hospital gown." she said as she looked around for one.

"Sakura I can't move..... how am I going to get into that." he smirked in a naughty way.

"Well I can help you Sasuke-kun.... I mean that is if you want me to."

"Sure, what the hell. It's not like I can ask anyone else, then again I could ask Naruto....." he said trying to convince Sakura to do it.

Sakura already knowing the best friends had other feelings for each other knew that they could end up in a situation that she would rather be in. "NO WAY!!! Naruto is a baka and you are in no condition for him to touch you...... and besides I can do it myself." Sakura said. 'That baka Sasuke-kun....!!!! Let me at him!'Inner Sakura said.

"Well Sasuke lets get started"
