Horrible News
A/N:well here is chapter 4...and umm. yea well I don't know I hope anyone who read it like it...well yea anyway review please :)
Chapter 4: Horrible news
Sasuke woke up the next morning from a peaceful sleep to find Naruto still sleeping soundlessly next to him. He just lay next to Naruto watching him sleeping with his first genuine smile in over a year planted firmly on his face.”
When Naruto stirred he rolled over and pretended to be asleep. Naruto slowly open his eyes and looked over at Sasuke’s back.
“You know I can tell when your not asleep teme. Plus, your breathings to normal for you to be sleeping.” Naruto said with a smug smile
“Shut up dobe, I thought that I could try be quite and you wouldn’t start babbling on.” He said while rolling around again to face Naruto.
Sasuke leaned over to kiss Naruto before getting up to have a shower.
“Oh oh your having a shower, can I come to pleeeeaaaasssseee…?” Naruto pleaded
“No”
“Please?”
“Naruto” Sasuke warned
“Yea”
“Shut up, I’m going for a shower and your not invited”
“Aww your no fun.”
Scene change
“Hey Sasuke, hey Naruto what’s up?” Sakura called happily. “Wait why did you both just arrive…together…in Sasuke’s car?
Naruto smiled “I am living with him…until I find a house for myself, he found me living in a place that he calls uhh… unacceptable, or not up to his standards.”
Sakura frowned “What is this unacceptable place that you were living Naruto baka”
“HEY” Naruto shouted angrily “Stop calling me names, it’s insulting, but where I was living isn’t any concern now”
“Hmm state the obvious, well the bell will ring in 3…2…1…”
RIIIINNNNGGGG
“Now we have to get to class” Sakura smiled once again proud of her prediction of the bell.
“Sakura did it ever occur to you that it might creep people out, people other then myself of course, that you can actually like class so much you know when the bell is going to ring” Sasuke said with no expression on his face.
“Sasuke can I talk to you?” Sakura asked lowering her voice
“Yea sure, Naruto go ahead and I will meet you at class.” Sasuke said people shuffling past them to get to their first classes for the day.
“Ok see you then” With that Naruto walked away toward class
“Sasuke…” Sakura started
“I know Sakura, your sorry for what you said to me that day.”
“Yea, thank you for being so understanding, it’s just hard for me to get a grip on so quickly that I can never have you.”
“Sakura, you don’t have what I want, equipment wise”
Sakura giggled “I guess your right, again I’m sorry, see you in class” Sakura ran off to her class.
Scene Change
Sasuke walked into his class that was still awaiting their teacher. He walked to the back left corner where he found Kiba, Lee, Gaara, Sai, Ino, Sakura, Neji and Shikamaru.
“Hey Sasuke, Kiba and Lee have some news!” Naruto said obviously very exited.
Sasuke look between the two a couple of times and the widened his eyes a fraction when he saw that the two were holding hands.
“Are you two dating?” Sasuke asked surprised fractionally.
“Yes my youthful companion, we are! But we also are having many youthful experiences in the bedroom too!” Lee exclaimed.
Kiba’s face reddened slightly. “Lee, we said we would keep that to ourselves, you know just you and me…”
“Oh I am awfully sorry, I will make it up to you later, but next time…don’t howl so loud…Akamaru thought I was hurting your youthful body”
This time Kiba went a deep crimson! “LEE, IM GOING TO RIP YOU LIMB FROM LIMB.”
Kiba and Lee looked around to see all their friends trying to hold back laughter at their expense.
“A strange match don’t you think?” Everyone turned to stare at Sasuke
“No matter how strange the match Akamaru likes him and I love him so that’s all we need.” Kiba said
Sakura then spoke.
“Kiba I think that being in a stable relationship has allowed you to mature faster.
All the others nodded in agreement. “Actually” Ino spoke up. “I think that its about time that Sakura and I told everyone that once we both realised that we weren’t going to get Sasuke we realised that being together would be just as good.” Ino and Sakura both smiled and moved closer together.
“Has everyone in our small group dating someone else from the group?” Naruto asked jokingly.
He looked around to see everyone in the group nodding
“WHAT?? I was just kidding, who is dating who? Naruto said
“Dickless, Gaara and I are dating” Said Sai “And Neji and Shika are together, and the only two left are you and Sasuke, so when are you two going to get together.” Sai continued.
“Why had nobody told me? I need to know these things! And for your information me and Sasuke are…” Then Naruto was cut off
“Sasuke…” Hinata spoke loud enough for Sasuke to hear her. “Umm I need to speak to you please?”
“Uh ok, did you want to speak now?” Sasuke asked
“Yes please, just us this is a private matter.” Hinata led Sasuke out of the room leaving a puzzled group behind them.
Hinata and Sasuke walked quite a bit until they found a part of the school that was completely abandoned. Hinata then turned to face Sasuke with a solemn look.
“Sasuke, I really don’t know how to tell you this. I have been trying to get up the courage to tell you for quite some time. I mean you are really good looking but quite intimidating.” Hinata was staring at the floor “I think its best that I tell you know, but it just so hard…”
“HINATA!!” Sasuke cut in “Just go ahead and tell me already”
“Ok, I needed to tell you that…”
**P.O.V change**
“I wonder what Hinata needed to tell Sasuke. What if she’s dieing and leaving all her possessions to her?” Naruto said nervously.
“Hey” Sakura said soothingly “It can’t be that bad, I mean c’mon its Hinata. And why would she be dieing and leaving things to Sasuke of all people?”
“Yea, I guess your right, I am completely overreacting” Naruto smiled “So does anybody remember what we were talking about before Hinata called Sasuke out?”
Everybody shook their heads.
RIIINNNGGG
“Ok well our teacher thinks he’s cool not turning up to class.” Kiba said
“Maybe he had other matters to attend to Kiba” Neji said calmly.
“Ok stop before there is a fight” Naruto cut in while grabbing Sasuke’s bag along with his own.
“You can talk you never used to be able to stop picking fights Sasuke, it was amazing to even get you in a room with him.” Ino said
Naruto blushed “Hey it was play fighting…kinda… well I’m going to find him ok? See you guys later” Naruto grinned and waved as he ran off.
It was about 5 minutes before the next bell rang that Naruto found Sasuke, he was curled in a ball in a part of the school that hadn’t been used in the last 14 years that was scheduled to be bulldozed tomorrow to make room for the new building.
“SASUKE!” Naruto screamed as he ran over to him “SASUKE WHATS WRONG?” Naruto threw himself onto his knees on the concrete ground beside Sasuke. “Sasuke, babe, talk to me, what’s going on?” Naruto carefully reached for Sasuke’s face to see it was pale (paler then usual that is). “Ok I am taking you home.”
Naruto picked Sasuke up in the marital hold and walked them to Sasuke’s black Lamborghini. He awkwardly searched around Sasuke’s bag with his free hand to find the keys. He finally found them and opened the back door and carefully placed Sasuke along the backseat and did up the middle belt.
He then walked around to the boot and threw their bags in, then jumped into the drives seat and drove them both home. He parked the car and unbuckled Sasuke and picked him up and took him inside, after the struggle to unlock the door. Naruto walked up the stairs and into Sasuke’s room and lay next to him until it became dark.
“Sasuke, talk to me please. Just tell me what happened to make you so upset.”
Sasuke lay there blankly staring over at the door.
“Sasuke, I am going downstairs to make dinner ok? Please come down soon.”
**Next day**
“Hey Naruto, where’s the Uchiha?” Shikamaru asked
“He won’t get out of bed, he won’t talk, and all last night he had nightmare’s, I don’t know what Hinata told him but he has just curled inside himself, but I thought it was best if I came talked to Hinata about what happened and then went home to take care of Sasuke and try to get him to feel better.”
“Uh, ok then well I will see you later, you may want to take him to a doctor too if he won’t get out of bed within the next week” Shika said walking away. “Oh and by the way, you can’t ask Hinata, unless you somehow know where she is. She has left school.” Shika had then walked around the corner.
‘This is way too weird’ Naruto thought. ‘Hinata would never leave school this just isn’t right.’ Naruto walked into the office.
He went up to the front desk.
“Hello young man” The desk lady asked.
“Hi, I need to speak to the headmistress please.” Naruto said
“Yes, just down the hall second office to you’re right”
Naruto walked in the room and sat down on the chair opposite from the headmistress.
“Naruto what do you want?” Tsunade snapped.
“Boohoo aren’t we grouchy today, I just needed to tell you that Sasuke and I will not be at school for the next week”
“There is nothing wrong with you boy, you don’t need the week off.”
“Sasuke is very…ill and needs my help to be on his way to recovery. He can’t get out of bed by himself let alone get food.” Naruto said and walked out
Tsunade grumbled something about smart-ass teenagers thinking they know everything but Naruto didn’t hear it because he way already running back to the car to get home as soon a possible.
P.O.V change
Meanwhile at home Sasuke was slowly getting up; he walked in the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. He got a cloth and washed his face. He washed his hands and then went down to the kitchen and opened up the refrigerator decided there was nothing there worth eating and the opened the cupboard; pulled out some chips and then went back up to his room to lay in bed again.
He finished the chips and turned on the TV to see if there was anything worth watching. When he had flicked through everything he decided on one channel and stayed on it while he lay back down. He heard the front door open and then close again.
“Sasuke I’m home” Naruto called out into the house
Naruto ran up the stairs and into the room. He smiled to see that Sasuke was watching TV.
“Did you want anything to eat?” Naruto asked
“…” Sasuke still didn’t speak.
Naruto sat down on the bed beside Sasuke.
“I don’t know why you won’t open up to me, or why you won’t tell me what Hinata told you.”
Naruto lay his head down on Sasuke’s chest
“Naruto…”
Naruto’s head snapped up and he was smiling as he grabbed Sasuke and hugged him for all he was worth.
“Naruto now that I’m talking you have to listen to me. What Hinata told me broke me I just couldn’t handle it. So I receded into myself to try to soften the blow, but it didn’t help it hurts so bad I just don’t know what to say to you. This will change life for all of us. What Hinata told me is that…”
