Naruto- The cook.
Naruto's face was beat red as he looked down at Sai's sleeping face, was he muttering under his breath about something being done harder.
"Form it right....baka..." Naruto blinked, that didn't sound like a dream about ...sexual activities. Leave it to Sai to dream up something idiotic and strange.
"Form what right?" Naruto asked softly as Sai shifted a bit in his sleep and started to wake up slowly.. making Naruto grin sheepishly, of course Sai wouldn't have feelings like that about him.
"The rice balls...." The short black haired ninja said as he sat up rubbing at his eyes sleepily.
Naruto tried so hard not to laugh, he had almost felt... no. He didn't feel hopeful, he was a monster, a demon that no one would have dreams about...not ones that didn't end up in nightmares. The sinking feeling in his gut was perfectly normal after all though, he would always be alone...wouldn't he?
"Naruto-kun! You're up!" Sai sat up fully, worry clear in his eyes as Naruto blinked at him in confusion. He healed fast because of the demon fox, but he was still sore and everything... After all, that fight with Sasuke..
Those hard, distant eyes, so full of nothing but the desire for revenge... staring at him as the sword swung uncaringly.. cutting his flesh...the chakra tearing through his skin..
"Naruto-kun." Sai shook the spacing out Naruto to try and bring him back to earth, after all, the fox looked ready to cry any moment...he had to be thinking about Sasuke..
"...Sai...you shouldn't act so worried about me...it's not that important...what'ever you're thinking about." Naruto said cheerfully, but then Sai's face was an inch away from his own.
"We should make rice balls...with Sakura-chan too." Sai said seriously, as Naruto blinked. "We're...going to make rice balls?"
"Yes... team mates need to be able to do many things together...right...Naruto-kun?" He asked tilting his head to the side slightly as Naruto slowly nodded... he was in the hospital for the next week, and then when he was out, he, Sai, and Sakura would go make Rice Balls somewhere?
The laughter started to bubble up out of Naruto's chest, leaving a confused Sai to be escorted out while a nurse went over Naruto's injuries now that he was awake..
