Heat

The guards waved and smiled as Shikamaru and a beautiful blond woman entered the gates of Konoha. Shikamaru took Naruto straight to the Nara Compound, and went to find his father. Shikaku was out feeding the deer and saw his son, waving he wondered aloud, "Wow look at the beauty he's brought home, hopefully she's sweet natured, he gripes about his mother too much to want a forceful woman."

When the couple approached him he saw she was petite maybe 5' and very shapely, he wondered why he'd never seen her before she looked to be the same age as Shikamaru. "Well son who do we have here, introduce me to this gorgeous woman." Naruto blushed, he'd spoken to Shikaku many times and was embarrassed he didn't recognize him but also slightly relieved.

"Dad, this is the woman I'm going to marry, and the future mother of my child, Naru." Shikaku was already bowing when the wording of what his son had said caught, 'his child' not children, she was already pregnant. "Son what do you mean, have you taken advantage of this young woman?" Naruto stepped forward quickly, "Oh no! It was me."

Shikaku's brow shot up, and he looked at his son, "She's not a tramp is she?" Naruto grabbed Shikamaru's arm as he surged forward, "She was a virgin, damn you!" Shikaku had never seen he's son this serious except when Asuma had died. "Okay calm down let's go back to the house and sit down and discuss this, everything will be fine." Naruto blew a stray piece of hair out of her face and grumbled, "I don't see how..."

"So son who is this young lady and why is she pregnant with your baby before you two could get married... your mother has been throwing girls at you ever since you broke up with Temari. You know we would have helped you two get married." Shikamaru looked at Naruto, she was so sad looking her head bowed and her hands folded in her lap, a perfect visual example of a proper young woman.

"Father this isn't a normal situation, let me introduce you, even though you've known each other for years. Father this is Uzimaki Naruto son of the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato and his wife Uzimaki Kushino. The Kyuubi caused him to go into heat and well... I was there. Now he will stay a woman until she has weaned our baby and then she will become male again. Do you see our dilemna, Dad?"

Shikaku had a mind even more advanced than his son thanks to his experience and his ninja life. He knew Kyuubi was a female and this actually made sense on a certain level, it also made sense that the boy had kept it a secret managing to stay away from men until now. He also knew for all her bossy ways his wife was going to spoil the mother of her grandchildren, no matter what form that mother had.

"Naruto... welcome to the Nara clan. Yoshino has wanted a grandbaby so bad she'd willing take Chouji as the mother as long as he gave her grandbabies, and son... you make a much prettier woman then he would." Shikamaru smiled as he pulled Naruto into his arms, "See Naru, it will be okay."

Shikaku had to smile he understood the nickname, his son was still dealing with the fact he'd been seduced by another man who happened to be a woman at the time, he hoped the young couple would make it, he really liked Naruto. "Shikamaru, she will be a man again son, you two need to sit down and talk about this, marriage is a lifetime committment and I'm not sure how this works but Kyuubi mated for life, so I assume Naruto has too, can you love him too."

Shika heard the emphasis on the 'him' and knew he was going to have to come to terms that Naruto would be a man as well as a woman during their marriage. Could they have a physical relationship that way too, would he even be attracted to Naruto as a guy, he never had before. He could see Naruto was thinking about this too, "Shikamaru, I know I'll still be attracted to you when I get my body back, you're my mate, but will you want me?" Shikaku knew this was his cue to leave the young couple alone, so he slipped out of the room.

"Naru I won't lie to you, I just don't know, I wasn't attracted to you before. You're a good looking guy but I never thought of you that way. I think I will now but I just don't know." Naruto nodded as Shikamaru spoke he understood.
"Shika I understand... I never really thought of you as sexy until the day I went to see Kurenai, I saw you and Ino leaving. I knew I was getting close to going into heat, you looked so good and I really couldn't tell you what Ino was even wearing. All I could think of was your shoulders, I knew I was in trouble when Kurenai wanted you to take me to the lodge." Shikamaru couldn't help but feel good knowing that Naruto had wanted him before it was too late, before he was the only man available.

He pulled Naruto into his lap and pressed kisses to her neck, "Ya know I can't see myself not wanting you no matter what you look like. I think I love you Naru." She tipped her face up to kiss him full on the mouth, her tongue entered his mouth and danced with his sucking and licking. He moaned before pulling away, "No distracting me woman, you need to see Tsunade, I want to make sure you and the baby are alright." Naruto scowled and then mumbled, "Troublesome man." Shika's head fell back as he burst out laughing.
