Love lost and found

A/N: Okie dokie Then well, finally I have another chapter up. I have redone all of my story had my WONDERFUL beta reader go over all of them and they are not up yaay I have gotten better.. for the most part and I should hopefully be posting more often :D

“…. What Hinata told me is that…she’s pregnant.” Sasuke then started to cry once again.

Naruto just stared at Sasuke not looking him in the eye he asked. “W-why does it concern you?” Even thought he already knew the answer he hoped that he was wrong.

“Naruto while you were gone I… well I got into a few things… I had sex with Hinata. I already told you that.”

Naruto looked away, this was so different from the Sasuke he knew, he didn’t know how to react or take in the news he had just heard. Naruto sat up, stood and turned. He took a step forward only to have Sasuke grab his wrist.

“Naruto, where are you going?” Sasuke slowly moved into a sitting position still holding onto Naruto’s hand.

“Sasuke I just… I think I just need to go for a walk. I think I just need to clear my head right now.” Sasuke hung his head and hesitantly let go of Naruto’s wrist.

Naruto walked downstairs with a blank look upon his face. He walked down the stairs and to the front door. He opened it and was about to walk out before he heard his name being shouted from the top of the stairs. He turned and looked up to see Sasuke standing beside the staircase.

“Naruto… Please come back this time… I don’t think I can survive if you leave me again.” Naruto could see by Sasuke’s expression that it was true, this news alone had packed a big blow another one would surely kill him.

“I promise you Sasuke, I will come back.” Naruto gave a small smile and with that Naruto walked out the door.

Naruto walked out to realise it was still light. He had only been home for an hour and as it was summer the sun was still hanging over the horizon. He breathed in the warm air and walked out of the driveway and onto the sidewalk. He walked along looking at all the children playing in the parks.

“I don’t think I can do this.”

“Don’t think you can do what?” Naruto turned around to see Shikamaru walking over to him.

“Uhh, hey Shika. I would tell you but it’s…”

“Troublesome.” Shika cut in.

“Yea.” Naruto chuckled a little at how well that word fit into his situation and how he was feeling. He sighed. Naruto and Shikamaru went to one of the park tables and lay on it looking toward the sky looking at the clouds, which looked red in the fading light.

**P.O.V change**

Sasuke walked back into the room after Naruto left. He looked over at the chip packet, which had all fallen on the floor when he jumped up to say that one last thing to Naruto. Sasuke walked over to the crumbs and picked up he could and threw them into the bag again. He then walked downstairs to the kitchen and discarded them into the bin.

He walked around the house wondering what to do in the fading light; finally he decided he would go for a swim. He walked back up the stairs and turned the light on in his room and looked through his draws for something to swim in a decided on a pair of boxers. He stepped out of the pants he was wearing and stepped into a pair of black satin boxers and went back downstairs, around the kitchen and out through the glass sliding door; which he closed behind him.

Sasuke walked over to the pool steps and dipped a foot in, the water was warm and he watched as it enveloped his foot. He placed the other foot in the water and went down step by step until his head was under the water. He slowly came back up and pushed all his hair back behind his head. He started swimming laps in the pool while thinking about his life, and what he would do after Hinata had the baby. What would this mean for Naruto and him? Would it change their relationship? Sasuke stopped swimming when he realised he could no longer see. He got out of the pool breathless and panting.

Sasuke walked up to the side of the house and turned on the light. He turned looking around him to see that he had forgotten a towel so he went and sat down on one of the outdoor lounge chairs. Slowly his eyelids started drooping and he did not ward it off, he welcomed in the safety of sleep where he could hide from everything…or so he thought.

**P.O.V change**

“Thanks for walking me home Shika, I needed a friend. Thank-you.” Naruto hugged Shikamaru.

“No problem Naruto. I will see you next time.” Shikamaru walked off into the night.

Naruto opened the door and walked into the house to see no lights on. He walked room to room looking for Sasuke. When he couldn’t find him he stared to get worried.

“Sasuke!” Naruto received no answer.

“SASUKE! WHERE ARE YOU?” Naruto ran frantically around room by room in the house looking for Sasuke and when he couldn’t find him. Naruto sat in the kitchen hands gripping onto his golden mane as the hot tears streamed down his face and started to pool on the counter he had rested his elbows on.

Naruto thought about calling somebody, police? Friends? One name popped into Naruto’s head followed the face of said person. Naruto fell off the stool and screamed.

“He can’t, he’s not here. Itachi.. NO!” Naruto scrambled backwards until his back hit the screen door leading to the pool. He got up opened the door and ran outside. While Naruto was running away from a face his mind had conjured he wasn’t looking where he was going and tripped over the lounge Sasuke has been sleeping on, sending both boys tumbling over then tiled ground.

Naruto looked over to see Sasuke lying on the ground confused as to what had just happened. Naruto jumped over and attached himself to Sasuke still crying.

“Naruto? Naruto what’s wrong?” Sasuke snuggled in closer to Naruto. Both boys lay there confiding in each other to keep the other safe from all that may come their way.

Eventually Naruto fell into a restless sleep on the ground huddled into Sasuke. Sasuke picked Naruto up and took him inside closing the screen door behind him. Sasuke walked up the stairs with the blond boy in his arms and went into the bedroom while managing to turn the light on. He lay Naruto on the bed gently and lay next to him. Sasuke sat there for an hour staring into Naruto’s face looking at all his subtle features when he slept, he looked at Naruto’s lips, they were so plump and red almost like permanently begging to be kissed. Next he looked at his nose, it was perfect proportion to his face. Next he looked at Naruto’s eyes, his eyes when open were the most electric, piercing blue anyone could ever see surrounded by thick lashes. In Sasuke’s opinion Naruto was the most perfect thing on the planet.

While Sasuke was staring and Naruto the next thing he knew he was looking into those perfect blue eyes.

“Sasuke?” Naruto looked up into Sasuke’s eyes. “How did we get inside?” Sasuke smirked a little.

“I carried you, you fell asleep outside after you fell over me. What were you running away from?”

“What makes you think I was running?” Naruto sat up angrily.

“Naruto… If you were walking you wouldn’t have tripped and sent us flying…”

“Oh…” Naruto slid back down to lay back down again. “I… I got home and I was looking for you, I searched and searched and I couldn’t find you anywhere. I obviously didn’t look outside. I was upset so I thought I could call somebody and I was thinking about who I could and… Sasuke I saw Itachi, my mind conjured up his face and I don’t know… I thought he was real so I ran.” A single tear fell from each of Naruto’s eyes before Sasuke wiped them away. He had both his hands cupping Naruto’s cheeks and kissed him deeply. He drew away and looked Naruto in those beautiful eyes.

“Naruto, don’t you ever be afraid of him ever again. I will fight for you no matter what. All you have to do is call and I will be by your side. Naruto I love you so much.”

Naruto smiled. “Sasuke I love you too. Thank you so much.”

“Come on,” Sasuke said. “Lets get some rest and I will see you in the morning.”

Sasuke got up and turned the light off, then came back to bed and lay back down next to Naruto. Naruto snuggled back into Sasuke while Sasuke lay there watching as Naruto’s breathing slowed down into even deep breaths that indicated to him Naruto was asleep. He slowly felt his eyelids grow heavy and he too fell into the black abyss of sleep.
