Part Five

It was nearly impossible to get Sasuke alone. Every time he tried, something would come up, like bandits or the raven was being an asshole. He was getting frustrated by how hard seducing Sasuke had turned out to be.

He felt like he was falling.

Naruto sighed as he walked alongside Sakura, trying to ignore her leer and the obvious way she kept looking between Sasuke and him.

When we reach Konoha, Naruto thought, looking back at Sasuke with an eyebrow raised. I'll definitely talk to him then.

The sun was just setting when they made it home, after talks with Tsunade and a short meal at Ichiraku. Naruto waited until Sakura and Shikamaru were out of ear shot to grab Sasuke's hand, face set in determination as he dragged the raven into the alley by his apartment and pinned him to the nearest wall.

He'd wanted to bring up Shikamaru's suggestion, but Sasuke had slapped a hand over his mouth, murmuring they needed to find somewhere not so public to talk.

They went to Naruto's apartment, a trail of clothes starting at the door and ending at the foot of the blonde's bed. Sasuke pinched his ass and Naruto pushed him down onto the bed.

"First off, we need to get a few things cleared up." Naruto sighed, following Sasuke onto the bed and moving to straddle his legs. There was a moment where he couldn't think straight pressed up against the bastard, but he pushed his desire to get things going into the back of his mind until a more appropriate time. "Then we're on the same page." He leered, leaning down to capture Sasuke's mouth in his, relishing in the gasp he got as he rolled their hips together. It made complete sense to him that the raven would be his first and second kiss, and he didn't protest when a slick tongue probed at his lips, asking for entrance.

Then he got rolled over and Sasuke made himself comfortable down between the blonde's legs. That's what I get for falling in love with an idiot, he sighed to himself, looking back behind him to the sleeping blonde.

He smiled as he leaned over, planting a small kiss on Naruto's forehead and just watched him sleep for a few moments.

"You're a little creepy, you know?" Naruto muttered, one of his eyes cracking open to look at him in amusement. Sasuke just snorted and brushed Naruto's bangs out of his eyes. The blonde rolled onto his back and stretched, Sasuke watching his muscles shift under the strain. "I suppose we should talk about what just happened, yeah?"

"Probably." Sasuke nodded.

"Hmm." Naruto sighed, running a hand through his hair, untangling the rest of the sweaty strands. He looked away for a second, his cheeks tingeing in embarrassment. When he looked back, his eyes were set in determination, like he'd made a decision. "You really threw me off, saying yes to the sex. After that one night-"

"It's a simple yes or no, dobe. Don't make it a whole speech about your stupidity." Sasuke said dully, almost rolling his eyes as he crawled over Naruto and kissed him softly, worrying his bottom lip between teeth.

"Fine, asshole. I like you. Is that enough for you?" Naruto grumbled, pulling Sasuke closer to his chest and placing a kiss on the top of his head.

"For now, yes." Sasuke nodded.

"Good."

"Hn."

Naruto snorted and closed his eyes, falling asleep almost immediately.

Sasuke followed a few minutes later, his mind at rest.

He was in love with Sasuke.

Holy shit, he loved Sasuke.

Three months had passed since the night they consummated their feelings and things had been going well.

Until something unexpected and weird smacked him upside the head.

Somewhere along the way, he'd fallen in love with his bastard of a best friend/lover type person. He'd been in love before-Sakura would vouch for that-but this was different.

"I just told you I loved you, asshole!" Naruto said hysterically, grabbing Sasuke by his shoulders to shake him.

"I heard you the first goddamn time!"

"But you haven't said anything back yet!" The blonde whined, finally letting him go and rolling off to the side. He crossed him arms and pouted slightly, wondering how he liked a bastard like Sasuke.

Sasuke rolled his eyes and reached over to grip Naruto's chin, turning his head so they were eye to eye. Then he kissed Naruto soundly and pulled away with a smirk curving his lips.

"I love you. There. Is that enough for you?" Sasuke asked him, repeating his the blonde's own question from a few months before.

Naruto grinned and leaned over to kiss him harder, a warm feeling bubbling up in his chest.

"Definitely enough, bastard." He nodded. Then, as an afterthought, "Wanna have sex again?"

Sasuke snorted and pushed him away.
