A/N Sorry it's been so long since I've posted and thank you angeltalion, nejislady, hotanimeguysfan, carousel, and kalyx for reading and commenting. Can't help it... I love comments :)

You know how sometimes Naruto has filler episodes? But sometimes they're really funny! I want this set of poems to follow the story with the episodes that stand out to me. This is for the episode in season 2 I believe where Team 7 is trying to see Kakashi's face.

I Want to See Kakashi's Face

I wish to see Kakashi’s face

What could the man be hiding?

Are his lips big as can be?

Or buck teeth over-biting?

 

Maybe he’s quite ugly

And has to hide away

The mystery is killing me

I have to see TODAY!

 

If we all work together

I bet we will find out

Just what he has been hiding

It can’t be left in doubt

 

A brilliant plan was thought of

The idea of course was mine

He has to move his mask to eat

It’s just a matter of time

 

So we treated him to lunch

The man should have been grateful

But Ino got in the way!

No glimpse or even a tasteful!

 

But we are fellow ninja’s

We’re trained to be discrete

We’ll shadow him through town

And get a little peek

 

We followed him together

Of course we were discovered

And when we tried alone

We failed, one after the other

 

I lost him on the street

He was gone before I knew it

Sakura stared at straw

For hours, she too blew it

 

And Sasuke was no better

Though he refused to tell

Just how he failed to track him

We just aren’t doing well

 

Hopefully our mission

Will open up new ways

For us to see his face

Before our curious gaze

 

The inn where we are staying

Has prepared us quite a feast

But Kakashi’s on a diet

And not hungry in the least!

 

So he won’t be eating

But I won’t give up now

They all say that I’m clumsy

I’ll spill this tea somehow

 

But darnit he’s too fast

Before the tea could splash him

He flipped the table up

To the floor our feast went crashing!

 

All that lovely food

Now will go to waste

And we are still no closer

To seeing Kakashi’s face

 

But now it’s to the hot spring!

Sakura will be ticked

She can’t join us there

We won’t be wearing a stitch

 

Kakashi can’t escape

The next plan on our list

He’ll have to take it off

We’ll see him through the mist!

 

With Sasuke I’ll be waiting

Hiding in the steam

Only towels allowed

Kakashi WILL be seen

 

I’m feeling quite excited

The mystery will be solved

Shhh! Now here he comes…

Awww I can’t see anything at all!!!

 

Stupid stupid sensei

Has a towel wrapped ‘round his head

I bet we’ll never see him

Until the man is dead!

 

Another failed attempt

We just can’t get it right

But maybe in disguise

We can take it in a fight

 

So stealing from the baths

Three other ninja’s clothes

We confronted sensei

And said we were new foes

 

I don’t think he was worried

He barely even looked

Even when more ninja’s came

Who owned the clothes we took

 

By now I feel exhausted

And haven’t learned a thing

Our stupid lazy sensei

Has skills that make him king

 

 I guess we only have

One option left to try

And if it doesn’t work

I think we all might cry

 

It’s time to be direct

And just come out and ask

“Sensei can we see…

What’s behind your mask?”

 

We were so amazed

When Kakashi answered yes

What would sensei look like?

We each had our own guess

 

But our hopes were always doomed

Cause when he pulled it down

We couldn’t believe our eyes

Only another mask was found!
