I haven’t seen a lot of reviews lately, that’s kinda of discouraging. I was hoping after the last Chapter I would get some thing.

Oh well, If it wasn’t for the tallies of people reading the fic, I might’ve stopped.

Well Now that you think about it, I would have still finished just to have the satisfaction. I haven’t found a beta yet. My one friend asked to help, but I really don’t want to intrude.

I know I have spelling and grammar errors. I believe that I’m getting better with it despite doing my own proof reading.

I hope your all enjoying it, I don’t know if I made Sasuke seem too easy. What do you think?

Well, I bet he was thinks like most people facing death. On top of that he envies his carefree life style, and maybe even wants part of that. What’s with Shika tho, talk about confused.

Well He has a lot of issues of letting people in. So in a way his confusion and life style where a way to protect himself.

He was attracted to Sasuke from the first time he bumped in to him.. With out really knowing why. I think I’ll express it more in this chapter.

Two days before the date in question, 4:30 PM


Who knew my actions would bring to this point. I had no idea my life would change this un-expectly. I really didn’t know where it was going any more. Before It was all the same, Each day after the next.

I knew this should make me scared as all hell, and I was. In the last 16 hours, my way of life was striped away from me. Forced in to a world, I rather not have seen.

But a part of me, threw all of the chaos that was to ensue, felt full. The confusion and secret attraction to my client, proved to be more then just one sided. I wonder how that was even possible.

It could have been a number of things, that tossed as together. All I could think was, at least I wasn’t fighting with my self any more.

That it felt good to know I wasn’t alone and to make sure Sasuke felt the same way.

After our shower, which in my mind, had to be one of the most erotic moments, I had ever had.

He called Uzumaki, and gave him a place to meet up at. He also told Naruto about his plans to simply vanish.

Of course there was load protest over the receiver, But Sasuke just hung up on him He laid the cell phone on the table.

I’m fishing in my dresser for some thing to wear. I pull out two pairs of blue jeans, and toss them on the bed.

I’m thinking of a possible way to hide Sasuke from the enemy out in public. I feel him come up behind me and wrap his arms around me. I take a deep breath in ward, “ what if they show up?”

“ Naruto doesn’t want to take the risk ether, But he couldn’t talk on the phone.. that too is risky. But its a risk..”

I turn and hand him a pair of boxers. “ we have to take.” I finish off his sentence.

“ are you sure.. About him?” I ask. “Yes.. But we need to be ready for every thing.”

We get dressed, and head out the door. I put a baseball cap on his head for good measure, and sunglasses.

I took a quick glance over to see if he stood out too much. Nope, casual and relaxed, good I thought to my self.

I smile “ You look like a tourist,” “ as long as I blend in that all that matter” He grinned back.

Having such a light conversation was helping the growing pain in my gut to settle down. Seeing him smile in adversity, gave me a positive view point.

It was like I was seeing a totally different person.

I slightly understood what Tsunade meant when she said, ‘ we’d be lost with out him.’

I also hoped I’d see more of this side of him, then that cold suite I met on that first day.

My feelings for him, made me scared, I didn’t want to loose him. I kept my guard up.

“Where are we meeting him?”were walking down the steps, then around the corner. “Some place, me and him know about.” He had a sepal smile, as if he was remembering some thing from his past.

“ that would make me jealous, if I didn’t know any better.” I chuckle lightly. Were headed towards the train station. “ You didn’t strike me as being the jealous type?” he raised an eye brow at me.

“ Your right, It’s just.. Your different.” I feel My face flush, “ There’s nothing to worry about, just so you know. Im all yours, But ‘she’ will try and stop it. Believe me she’s inferred before. If Naruto told her, feel free to kick his ass.”

“ I see, sounds trouble some. Is she really that much of a bother?” He just glares back at me, “ you have no idea..” Okay, that’s slightly uncomfortable.

We get on a train and are on are way to Shinjuku. I don’t like the idea of not knowing where im headed.

I try to keep my cool, and look around the train car. There were a lot of people, on board. Most going home from work.

The crowed space left me feeling unsettled. Those thugs could be watching us, and I would be able to pick them out. I stayed sharp, scanning every person like a hawk, staying cool and collected.

We off the train and hail a cab. This way was safer then walking on the street. The ride wasn’t too long, but extremely quite.

Sasuke taps the drivers shoulder, “this our stop” he gives the man our fare, then we step out.

“ A ramen restaurant?” I look up at the building in question, then turn to my lover.

“ we used to duck out of school and hide out here. The owner would always give use left overs for free. Innocent times..” He removed his hat and ran his fingers threw his raven black hair.

I open the door for him and close it behind me. The place seemed dead, a lone person sat at the counter stool. Sasuke walked over and sat next to him, I followed.

The man was blonde, medium build and height. He was in a blue suite, and had an orange tie.

“Naruto..” Sasuke whispered, not looking at him. Blue eyes glance over to me, then back to Sasuke.

“ Well at least you look how I feel,” he answers. “ You know we don’t have much time, I don’t need a lecture right now.”

I sit quietly, with my fingers together, listen to them talk.

“ You know this going to be my neck... Itachi’s on to me already.. I spoke up when he took over. I knew you were alive and that he was involved. He’s been watching my movements carefully. It took me for ever to loose his boys.”

“ Your such an idiot.. Think next time.. If you only thought before you acted. you’d be fine.”

“ You always say that.. But you’ve been there to help me.. If your gone.. I won’t be so lucky any more.” He looks at me again, he didn’t like me being there.

“ I’m not your mother, I can’t always take care for you. I have to watch out for my self now .. And this is the best way. I can’t be happy like this, living two lives.”

He sneers at him, “ You’re a coward, running away..” He was making me angry.

“ I’m not running away Naruto,” “ Your fooling your self.”

I had about enough of this, “ look we came here for your help.. He’s your friend, don’t you want him to be happy? Can’t you see he’s miserable this way, that’s he’s going threw a lot and all you can think about is your self?”

He rolled his eyes at me, “ Who is this guy..” Sasuke intervenes, “ he my friend, and he raises some good points, Naruto.. Don’t you want to help me? After all those times I helped you out?”

He exhales and relaxes, he was deeply saddened. “ I do, I wouldn’t be here if I didn't. I thought I lost my best friend, and here I have him back only to loose you again. What’s Sakura going to say? You know she cried the hardest..”

“ I’m sure she did.. We need the information about Itachi’s plans for this evening. I’m going to make things right before I go.. I promise you that.. You just have to trust me.” Sasuke looks at me, then back to Naruto.

“ He’s going to be at the pier, 12:00 am.. He’s making a big Narcotics deal to night with some Chinese. And He's getting his own little package. His favorite poison, opium.”

Naruto looks in front him, then picking up his bowl of ramen, and drinks the broth.

“ Father never liked drugs, he’d never make that kinda deal. No wonder Itachi bumped him off, he had this all planed out. He wanted to make me loose my guard, so he could get to father.. Bastard..” Sasuke’s hands were in tight fists.

“ Shino has some power, but since every ones backing Itachi up now. He doesn’t want to cause a war, it would just leave us weak for our rivals to pick off of. He’s allied him self temporally. He’s not going to be of any help.. Unless you come back to life. Every one would choose you and Itachi’s a dead man.”

There was some excitement in Naruto’s voice.

“ I can handle this with out letting them all know im alive, that’s my only way out.” Sasuke gets up, I realize he looks tried and pale. “Lets go.. We got stuff to do.”

I’m thinking of the next move, when he touches me on the shoulder. I get but and head for the door.

Then I hear Naruto speak, “ what about Sakura?” Sasuke turns back to him, “ You didn’t tell her did you?”

He looks down to the floor, “ No..” “ Then you marry her.. As you can see, I’m not in love with her.”

“But..” Naruto looks up, his eyes get big. I turn to see two men step in to the street lamp and make there way in to the building. It was Four-eyes and snake man.

I make a 180, grabbing Sasuke by the arm, we start running for the back. It seems like its all happing in slow motion, Naruto rips out his glock, and starts shooting at them.

They fire back, bullets flying every where. A shell whizzes past me, just missing my head.

I don’t look back, I'm forcing Sasuke along with me. He’s trying to shoot back, giving us cover. I could hear Naruto screaming for us to get away.

I literally pick Sasuke up and escape threw the back door. We run down the back way alley as fast as we can.

It seems like were running forever, in darkness. We finally stop to catch our breathes.

“ They killed him..” I can hear him sob. “ You don’t know that..” he shot me that glare, I hated it when he looked at me like that.

“ Why are you angry with me.. I’m not the one doing this..” I said it more harshly then what I wanted.

He sighs, “ right, but I don’t need you to be naive right now.” “ I’m just trying to stay positive, we can’t fight like this..we got to be a team. Those guys are most likely on our trail.”

“ Don’t you think I know that..”his face was sad. I motion to him, and take his hand. “ I know what to do.” He looked up at me, brushing the hair out of his eyes. “ Alright, let’s hear what you have in mind?”

I explain my plan, as we made our way down the alley to the street.

I made sure it was clear, “we Inform the police, and make sure Itachi’s busted It s simple enough. But how to get it them there is question. I thought about leaving a anonymous tip. That’s not totally full proof tho.”

“Yea, we have cops on the pay roll, they’d inform him of a bust.” He answers me. The Street was mildly busy. It was a good thing we could blend in.

“ This is were my buddy comes in.. He helps me on a lot of my cases. He gives me a lot of Intel, involving certain people and events. He also has connection with a few good cops. I bet he’ll give us some cover too.”

“ Do you trust him?” Sasuke gives me weary eyes. “ I do, he’s a good guy. But I think this will put a damper on his evening. He owes me a favor so he better not turn us away.”

He nods his head, “So much has already happened. There’s no telling what could go wrong next.”

We walk down the street, with a plan. It was a very poor plan, so many things could go wrong.

It was the only thing we could think of under the conditions. I just had to keep on the brighter side, for his sake.

Well.. I know its been a long time. You can say I’ve been really busy, and I had a major case of writers block. Thanks for waiting.. Hopefully I’ll be able to end this soon. Keep those reviews coming!!
