A Stray Child

Chapter Six

That night Sasuke had his things, well what was left of his possessions, moved into Naruto’s apartment. The blonde was living in a larger one than when he was younger, at least it had 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and even a small living room.
Naruto looked nervously around as some of the others showed up to see if everything was going well.
Neiji, Hinata, Choji, Shikamaru, Ino, Sakura, Kiba, Lee, Shino and even Gaara were there. All eyes were on Sasuke as he sat on the couch and Neiji cleared his throat.
“So the Hokage really did agree for Uchiha to stay here?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Why do you have a problem with it?” Sasuke stared back.
“Maybe. What are you going to do about it?”
“If it’ll make all of you feel safer you might as well take me out while you can.” Sasuke said and Naruto gave the raven head a smack.
“Stop talking about dying!” The blonde yelled and received a hit himself.
“Don’t you hit me dobe!” Sasuke yelled back with large white eyes.

“Um it actually doesn’t bother me if Uchiha is here. I was just saying that to urk him.” Neiji said with a sweat drop. The others watched with their own sweat drops while the two guys stared each other down.
“Stop it you two!” Sakura shouted at them and turned to Sasuke. “And Sasuke you shouldn’t talk like that about dying!”
“Yeah don’t be so bothersome.” Shikamaru said.
“We know you would never hurt the village or anyone in it. No matter how annoying they are.” Kiba joined and looked at the blonde.
“Hey!” Naruto shouted with large annoyed eyes.
“Sasuke don’t beat yourself up over what happened. It’s in the past and you weren’t responsible for anything Orochimaru did.” Ino said.
There was silence for a short while, but of course it was cut short not by Naruto, but by Kiba this time.

“So Sasuke…did Orochimaru do anything to you? You know sexually?” He asked with a smirk.
“No.” Sasuke said curtly. “He wasn’t like that.”
“Kiba you shouldn’t ask those kind of things!” Hinata said quietly, but sternly and Kiba rolled his eyes.
“Geez! Sorry for being curious.”
“That’s not the kind of thing to be taken lightly.” Gaara said with a glare and the dog boy went silent.

“Enough talk about that! We should have a party!” Lee declared and Sasuke sighed.
“No.” He said.
“Hey! It’s my place and I say lets party until we blackout!” Naruto shouted and most of the others save for Gaara, Shikamaru, Sasuke and Shino cheered.
“I’ll get some beer!” Choji shouted and ran off.
“Hey we can’t have alcohol!” Sakura shouted after him.

Sasuke went to his new bedroom and sat down with a groan.
‘I just want to go to sleep.’ He thought and gritted his teeth at a sharp pain in his sides.
‘It’s early. Damn it I hate having been born a freak.’ He thought and took a medicine bottle from one of his bags. After screwing off the top he slugged down a large bluish green pill and laid down.
Unknown to Sasuke Shikamaru had seen this and his brows furrowed in worry.
‘Is Sasuke…taking drugs?’
