Uh...Kyuubi?
__Reviewers: I love you all, but I’m too lazy to try to figure out where ch. 4 reviews stopped and ch. 5 started. So, unless a question is asked, don’t expect any replies.
Ch. 6: Uh…Kyuubi?
You and I were glaring at each other. No surprise there; it happens all the time. That's just what we do. But this time, when you ran up to punch me, I didn't block. Nor did I punch back. No, I just stood there and took the beating, still glaring.
It wasn't until you turned to walk away that I said something. "Dobe..."
"I told you not to call me that, teme!" you said, not looking back.
"But I..."
"But you what? Need my body? You can have anyone in this damn village; go take your sexual frustrations out on someone else. I have to train to become Hokage." With that, you walked off into the darkness.
'It's not your body I need. It's...'

Naruto stopped when he felt a familiar chakra. 'It feels like Sasuke, but not quiet. Then who?' Then it hit him. "Nii-chan! Itachi's close!"
"I realize that," Kyuubi said calmly. Somewhere within the last few months Naruto had started to call him 'brother'. Not that he minded, really.
"Are you trying to get us killed?! You know that psycho has been after us since forever."
"Trust me. When was the last time I've been wrong?"
Naruto looked down. "When you told me that Sasuke loves me," he muttered.
Kyuubi winced. He hadn't been lying then; he could feel that Sasuke loves Naruto; he just hasn't realized it yet. You see, not only is Kyuubi the greatest youkai ever; he is also the greatest prankster, being as he's a kitsune and all. And sometimes one good move is all it takes to put a plan in motion.
This plan involved separating Sasuke and Naruto. Doing this will solve two problems: 1.) Naruto will get away from the hateful village for a while, and 2.) Time away from Naruto will force Sasuke to admit he loves Naruto. Plus there's the added bonus of claiming Itachi as his own. And the only move he made was leaving the village.

Itachi always had a plan. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it. That was one of the reasons he’s so strong. So he was more than pissed when he was out of ideas. It wasn’t until he recognized Naruto’s chakra and Kyuubi’s chakra in two separate bodies that he willingly stopped. He was, for the first time, confused. As far as Konoha knew, he was still trying to capture Naruto.
When the two boys – well, on teenager and one 50 million (exaggeration) year old demon- showed up, all Itachi could do was stare at Kyuubi. Not that anybody blamed him; if Naruto didn’t see the fox as a brother and wasn’t still hopelessly in love with Sasuke, he would have jumped Kyuubi as soon as he got his own body. Hell, Kyuubi would have jumped himself if it was possible.
“Uh…Kyuubi?”
The ‘brothers’ snickered. That was the most intelligent thing to come out of the Uchiha prodigy’s mouth? Because of Itachi’s moment of stupidity, Naruto forgot that he was supposed to stay away from the guy.
“Nice to see you too, Itachi. What happened to that fashion disaster of a cloak Pein called uniform?” Kyuubi asked.
The mention of the Akatsuki brought Itachi back down to earth. “We disbanded. Five of our members died, and most of the ones that were left decided to give up on trying to capture you. Even if we did, there weren’t enough people to do the extraction ceremony.”
This put Naruto at ease. If the Akatsuki was gone, then he wasn’t in danger. “Where’s Fish-sticks?”
Itachi mentally smirked at the nickname the blonde gave Kisame the first time they met face-to-face. That was the real reason he wanted to chop Naruto’s legs off, but he didn’t want to say that the name got to him.
“He died.”
It didn’t sound like Itachi really cared, so all Naruto said was, “Oh.” He didn’t like Fish-sticks that much anyways; he looked kind of freaky. “Nii-chan, what are we doing here anyways?”
“I was looking for Itachi,” Kyuubi said with a smirk.
Itachi raised an eyebrow, at both the ‘nii-chan’ comment and as to silently ask why a demon was looking for him.
“I want you as my mate,” Kyuubi explained, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “And I always get what I want,” he added with a challenging smirk.
“So…why are you in Earth Country?” Naruto asked.
“I’m looking for Uchiha Madara.”
Kyuubi growled. “That bastard is still alive? I’m going to kill him.”
“What did he do? And I thought you and Sasuke were the last Uchihas,” Naruto asked.
Still growling, Kyuubi answered the first question. “He’s the one that made me attack Konoha.”
Itachi continued the explanation. “He is also the one that killed the Uchiha clan. Now that no one can stop me, I decided it was time to prove my innocence. Which means, Kyuubi, that you can’t kill him until after he admits he’s guilty.”
“Damn.”
“And you think he’s in Earth Country?” Naruto continued to ask questions until he fully understood what was going on.
“I know he’s around here.”
Kyuubi snorted. “But you can’t pinpoint his location, can you?” At Itachi’s silence, he continued. “Stupid humans. Give me two days, and we’ll be close enough for you to sense him.”
“I don’t need your help.”
“But you’re going to get it anyways. You should be honored that the all-powerful (Naruto rolled his eyes and ignored the rest of the sentence) nine-tailed youkai is offering you, a mere human, his help."
"Fine. Lead the way."
