A/N: It’s been a long, long time since I updated this, yeah? I think it was around August maybe? Well, there’s an update, and I am over the moon with this chapter. I loved writing it and I hope you guys enjoy it. This is the second to last chapter before Naruto’s POV is through and then we will get to see what exactly Sasuke-kun’s been up to. Please leave me a review. I would really like to know what you thought.
And btw, three things were brought to my attention. Firstly, I want to say thank you to Carousel for mentioning the mini-golf, because I was wondering what the date should be. I hope you’re not disappointed by this chapter.
Secondly, Anon had two questions. To your first, you will find that out in the second half, Sasuke’s half. And for your second question, neither of his foster parents checked the little table next to his bed. I hope that clears things up!
And sorry again for its lateness!
Reckless Hearts
Chapter Six
The days had flown by without much rhythm, leaving Naruto's head spinning with the late night rendezvous and visits after school from his older lover. His foster fathers' were none the wiser and he loved every minute of it.
In fact, their very first date was coming up fast, and so was his birthday. It made them both breathe easier; knowing Naruto was going to be one year older. There was still a gap in their ages, but there were more things to be concerned about.
The teacher droned on and on about nothing Naruto cared about, his thoughts always, always revolving around a certain, dark haired man. He was trying to plan a date around his two best friends. After Sakura had talked Kiba into getting to know Sasuke, the brunette had suggested doing something they all enjoyed.
The consensus was that they play a round of mini-golf, have dinner, and then see a movie later that night. Naruto doubted Sasuke would go for it, but the man was full of surprises.
He’d reluctantly agreed to it, and now the weekend was planned, with his birthday right after. He really hoped Sasuke got him something.
The bell finally rang, signaling the end of the school day. Naruto grinned as he jumped out of his seat, ignoring the eye roll his teacher shot at him. He was out the door before anyone else, jogging to his locker and jamming his books inside the metal piece of crap, not caring if he ripped the pages out in the process.
He grabbed his hoodie and came face to face with someone he considered to be his arch nemesis. He looked a lot like Sasuke, actually, but paler.
“What the fuck do you want, Sai?” The blonde growled out, trying to ignore the dark haired nuisance that was watching him quietly. It was unnerving how the older boy could read his mind with just one look.
Sai smiled at him, all white teeth and fake.
“Can I walk you home?” He tilted his head to the side, and Naruto noticed for the first time that Sai was all ready wearing his coat.
“No you can’t walk me home!” The blonde growled at him, frowning as he walked quickly down the hallway to the doors that lead out to the parking lot. He could hear soft footsteps behind him. He wanted to turn around and punch the inky haired teen in the face.
“Why can’t I?” Sai asked, catching up to the blonde and matching his hurried pace. “Your friends are busy with club activities today, right?”
Naruto steadfastly ignored him and pushed the double doors open, sighing in relief when he noticed his dark haired boyfriend leaning up against his car in the school’s parking lot.
“Get lost, Sai!” He growled over his shoulder, making his way towards the man, meeting his eyes with a feral grin. “Hey.” Naruto greeted the raven, planting a wet kiss on his mouth. Sasuke wound his arms tightly around the blonde’s waist, smirking as he deepened the kiss. Behind them, Sai clicked his tongue in disapproval.
“You should do that in the privacy in your own home.”
Naruto growled again and pulled out of Sasuke’s embrace to glare at his arch nemesis, who just smiled back.
“Get lost!” Naruto swatted at the boy’s nose, blushing furiously as he saw Sasuke lift a eyebrow in question.
“Let me walk you home.” Sai told him again.
Naruto opened his mouth incredulously, and the man behind him stiffened. Sasuke jerked him over towards the car, nudging him in the direction of the passenger’s seat. The blonde smiled at him appreciatively.
“Do your fathers’ know that you’re with an older man?” Sai called out to them, sounding amused at the situation. Naruto kept his eyes averted, tried to ignore the boy’s provocation. “What would they say if I told them, Naruto-kun?”
Sasuke pulled him into the car before Naruto could jump the asshole, and forcibly buckled the blonde into his seat, and gave him a stern look before he made him shut his door.
Sasuke turned the key in the ignition, and pulled out of the parking lot without a backwards glance in Sai’s direction.
*~*
Sasuke parked at the corner like usual, shutting the car off and unbuckling his seat belt. With fifteen minutes to themselves-Iruka and Kakashi thought he was walking home from school-Naruto slipped out of his seat, grinning like a maniac. Sasuke pushed his own back, making room for the blonde to crawl over his thighs.
“Who was that annoying kid?” Sasuke groused, sliding his hands up the other’s thighs to grip his waist, and then under his hoodie to touch the smooth skin of his stomach. He leaned forward and kissed the boy softly. “He could be my twin.” The raven whispered against his mouth.
Naruto growled into the kiss and jerked Sasuke closer by the collar of his jacket.
“Forget about that idiot.” He mumbled, brushing his tongue across Sasuke’s bottom lip. The raven quickly granted him entry, eagerly meeting the boy’s tongue with his own as clumsy fingers pulled the zipper on his jacket down. Those same fingers pushed under the man’s sweater and T-shirt to brush the pale skin hidden underneath. Sasuke tangled his right hand in the blonde’s hair and pulled his head away, pressing heated kisses to the teen’s throat.
“He seemed to really like you.” Sasuke said absently, sucking harshly on the other’s pulse point. Naruto mewled and tweaked one of Sasuke’s nipples, and rolled his hips teasingly over the man’s hardening arousal.
“Don’t leave any visible marks.” Naruto warned him, tilting his head to bare more of his neck to Sasuke’s talented mouth. Teeth nipped at his jugular and a warm tongue laved the bite. Arousal sparked pleasantly up his spine and over his skin.
“Naruto.” Sasuke said breathily, using the grip he had in the boy’s hair to angle his head back down. Their lips met messily, teeth sinking into soft tufts of flesh. The raven sighed into the kiss, but pulled way after a second, his breath disturbing Naruto’s bangs. “You should get going. Pretty soon Iruka will start wondering where you are.”
“But-“ Naruto started to protest, scowling when Sasuke placed a finger over his lips to silence him. He licked the fingers suggestively before sucking it into his mouth, nibbling at the calloused tip. “Just give me a few more minutes.” He husked out, swallowing around the finger with a wicked grin.
Sasuke licked his lips distractedly, his eyes glued to the image of his finger being given a mock blowjob. Naruto reached down to palm his groin, satisfied that Sasuke had seemed to forget what he’d just said.
“Let me suck you off.” Naruto whispered around the finger in his mouth, eyes glazed over in lust. Sasuke shook his head and pulled his hand away to undo the button on the blonde’s school uniform pants.
“If you go home with a hard-on, Kakashi will suspect something.” Sasuke smirked, pulling the blonde’s zipper down with ease, and reaching into his boyfriend’s underwear with cold, sure fingers. “Let me get you off instead. You can repay the favor a different day.” The raven murmured, fisting the boy’s cock and drawing his hand up teasingly.
Naruto hissed under his breath-the fucker’s hand was freezing!-and bucked into the borderline painful grip Sasuke had on him.
“Just do it, then.” Naruto whined, leaning forward to press their lips together again, his heart racing. The hand on his length sped up, a thumb swirling around the rosy head to spread the precum. “Faster, dammit!” He moaned, letting a forehead rest against Sasuke’s shoulder.
He tangled his fingers in the raven’s hair and rocked his hips frantically, panting softly as his eyes fell shut. Sasuke’s fingers were rough, but it felt so good.
A hand touched the small of his back, urging him on gently. The breath against his neck was hot, and it was making him tremble.
He released some of Sasuke’s hair and brought a hand down to rub at the front of the man’s pant, irritated that he wasn’t getting enough contact.
“Come on, dobe.” Sasuke muttered, pressing the blonde flush against him, their bodies uncomfortably cramped. The raven grunted and slid his fingers across Naruto’s slit once, twice, before the boy convulsed in pleasure on his lap and released hot and sticky over his hand. “Good boy.” Sasuke said teasingly.
Naruto only managed a weak grin before collapsing back into the passenger’s seat, and fixed his pants. He made himself look more presentable, then grabbed his bag and leaned over to kiss his boyfriend goodbye.
The sight of Sasuke licking his hand clean was sexy, but he really did need to go.
“Text me later, okay?” The blonde grinned, climbing out of the car and hoisting his bag higher onto his shoulder. He waved as he shit the door behind him, and then slowly made his way home.

Kakashi had ordered pizza for dinner, which usually meant that Iruka was sick or just didn’t feel like cooking. Whatever was fine with him. He was a growing boy; he could eat practically anything. Except vegetables, that is.
Iruka looked up from his plate and tilted his head to the side, a slice of pizza halfway to his mouth. His gaze intensified, and for one wild second Naruto thought Sasuke had let a mark somewhere on his neck.
“Eat slower, please. You’re staining your shirt.” Iruka told him, motioning to the splotch of pizza sauce just under his collar. The man threw a napkin his way and then went back to eating. “How was school today, by the way?” He asked after he had swallowed a few bites.
Naruto licked his lips nervously.
“It was school.” He shrugged. Kakashi snorted from his left, but he didn’t comment. Maybe he understood, having been a teacher for over twenty years. “Sakura-chan invited me to a movie this weekend. Do you think I can go?” He asked, looking to Iruka first. The man always gave in first to what he wanted.
Kakashi and Iruka looked at each other, having a silent conversation with their eyes. The silver haired man nodded and Naruto broke out into a wide grin.
“You guys are awesome!” He giggled happily, shoving some more pizza into his mouth. Of course, he had failed to mention that they would also be doing other things, never mind the fact that Sasuke would be coming, too.
It was their first date, after all. But his foster fathers didn’t need to know that.
*~*
Later that night, before he went to sleep, Sasuke sent him a text saying he couldn’t make it to the dinner, or the round of mini-golf. Naruto’s wasn’t happy about it, but as long as it was still a date, he could deal.
Sasuke would just have to make it up to him later.
*~*
Iruka raised a suspicious eyebrow as Sakura explained their plans to him, slowly, for the third time. He kept thinking he was hearing wrong, because his foster son hadn’t mentioned any rounds of mini-golf or dinner. The pink haired girl looked nervous, which in turn made him more suspicious.
“It was my idea, Iruka-san. Well, the dinner was, at least. Kiba wanted to play mini-golf, and Naruto and I both wanted to see a movie.” Sakura smiled up at him, her cheeks just a little flushed. The brunette shot a helpless look over at his perverted better half, but there was obviously no help coming from that corner. “Please, Iruka-san, it’s my only day off from work for the next two weeks. He’ll behave, I promise.” She pleaded.
Kakashi looked like he was grinning, but the brunette couldn’t be sure. Not with his turtleneck covering the lower half of his face.
“I know he hasn’t gained your trust back yet, but you can trust me.” Sakura said confidently, despite the fact that she was lying through her teeth. Inviting Sasuke along had been her idea in the first place.
Iruka sighed and hung his head before slowly nodding.
“Fine, but curfew is eleven.” He said firmly, glancing at the clock on the oven. It read two ‘o clock all ready.
“I’ll have him home before that.” Sakura promised smiling at Iruka and his silver haired partner before grabbing Naruto’s wrist and pulling him into the living room where Kiba was waiting. He didn’t look happy, but then again, he hadn’t been in the best of moods lately. “Okay, boys, let’s get going.” Sakura sighed.
“Drive safely!” Iruka called to them from the kitchen doorway. Naruto waved back over his shoulder, frowning slightly. He felt guilty for not telling the two everything about the day, but the moment had passed, so now it didn’t matter.
*~*
Mini-golf, as it turned out, wasn’t exactly his best sport. Kiba was only one point from Sakura, who happened to be winning. They were at hole seven, and Naruto was starting to get impatient.
“Stop fidgeting.” Sakura scolded him, swatting the back of his head as Kiba started first on the eighth hole. It took him four tries before he got the ball into the hole. “I know you’re excited about seeing Sasuke-kun later tonight, but please refrain from acting like an idiot. I won’t hesitate to punch you.” She threatened.
Naruto shivered, “I can’t help it! This is our first date!’ He told her, stepping forward to take his own turn. He hit the ball and it rolled down the hill, bouncing off the wall and into the small circular pond just to the right of the tee. He threw his golf club down and tried to ignore Sakura’s giggles. “You know you’d be excited too if someone you liked asked you out. But Sai’s so oblivious when it comes to dating.”
Sakura blushed as pink as her hair and none-too-gently punched him in the arm. She didn’t think Naruto had noticed her crush on the older boy.
“I’ll admit you have a point.” She said with a sigh, finally getting to take her turn, while Naruto fished his out of the water. She sunk her ball on the first try. Again.
Naruto’s mouth dropped open and Kiba swore under his breath.
“Let’s go to the next hole, shall we?” She giggled.

Dinner was a cheeseburger at McDonald’s, and then they were waiting in the lobby of the theater, discussing the movies up on the screen while they waited for Sasuke.
“I want to see a romantic comedy.” Sakura informed them, much to Naruto’s annoyance. She always picked the romantic shit when they were at the theater , and she made them see it, too, but that was because she usually paid. This time, though, he had his own money.
“Nah, man, let’s see something scary.” Kiba grinned, nudging Naruto in the side with his elbow. It was a known fact that scary movies scared the shit out of him, especially, the ones about ghosts, like that Paranormal Activity shit.
He could never sit through them.
There was a mix of comedy and horror, actually. He preferred the comedy, but it all depended on what Sasuke would rather see.
“Go with blood and guts.” Sasuke suddenly appeared at his side, looking up at the dozen or so movies they could choose from. Naruto jumped slightly and Kiba barked out a short laugh.
“Man after my own heart.” He snickered.
Naruto shot the brunette a dirty look.
“You don’t like comedy?” The blonde asked the man, tilting his head back up at the screen. The raven just shook his head lightly then stepped up to the ticket window, paying for all of them at once. To make matters worse, he had bought tickets for the scariest looking movie playing.
He felt light headed all of a sudden. Kiba and Sakura looked dumbfounded.
“Snacks anyone?” Naruto grinned nervously, before turning to follow his boyfriend further into the theatre.
Sasuke bought whatever he wanted, while his two friends fended for themselves. With their arms weighted down by boxes of popcorn, drinks, and candy, they made their way into theatre 7. Kiba chose to sit with Sakura a little closer to the screen, while Sasuke pulled him into the very back, away from curious, prying eyes,
They could get away with practically anything.
“You look disappointed.” Sasuke said softly, choosing a seat more towards the aisle than the middle of the row. Naruto sat on his left, and placed his pop in the cup holder while Sasuke took his popcorn.
“About what?” Naruto asked. Sasuke nodded towards the screen and the blonde sighed. “Scary movies freak me out. I’ve never been able to sit through a whole one.” He shrugged,
Sasuke smirked and leaved over to nibble softly on his earlobe, blowing hotly into his ear.
“Don’t worry; I’ll be here the whole time.” The man kissed him softly a few times, pulling away just as the first preview was starting.
Naruto smiled and sank down into his chair, making himself more comfortable.
*~*
The movie had started out kind’ve lame, but by the middle he was whimpering like a little girl and clinging onto Sasuke’s arm like his life depended on it. He was completely embarrassed, but the man next to him looked more amused than annoyed. Actually, he hadn’t stopped smirking since the movie started.
He jumped when a warm hand squeezed his thigh and rested there. It was a little distracting, the way it squeezed every so often, how Sasuke’s thumb brushed teasingly over the seam of his jeans. Goosebumps sprang up on his arms, and the hand went a little higher.
“Sasuke!” He hissed, blushing hotly as he pushed the man’s questing hand away from his leg. The bastard’s smirk only widened, almost into a lecherous grin. Naruto swallowed around the lump in his throat as the hand came back and rested on his knee.
He reluctantly turned his attention back to the movie as the hand slid up higher again, leaving the skin underneath his clothes oddly heated, and his clothes too stifling. The girl on the screen was gutted just as the hand on his thigh slipped between his legs, and knuckles scraped against his groin under the course denim.
Sasuke leaned over, his eyes on the movie, smirking like a smug son-of-a-bitch. He pressed fingers pressed insistently into Naruto’s cock through his jeans, and the blonde’s only option was to spread his legs so they had more room to work.
“We could skip the rest of this and just mess around.” The raven suggested, licking at the shell of Naruto’s ear and turning his palm inward to cup the hardening length underneath it. “You still owe me for that day in the car, dobe.” Sasuke teased lightly, biting into his earlobe.
“Right here?” Naruto groaned out, turning his head to meet the man’s lips in a wet kiss, grinding himself wantonly against Sasuke’s hand.
“Yes, right here. As long as we’re quiet, no one will know.” Sasuke murmured against his cheek, that infuriating smirk still in place. All of his attention was on the blonde boy next to him. “What do you say, dobe?”
Naruto bit softly into the man’s bottom lip, flicked his tongue over the top. Sasuke smiled into the small action and sat back in his chair, his hands reaching down to unbutton and unzip his jeans. Thin fingers reached into the open fly and gripped the familiar length beneath, then carefully slipped it out past the zipper.
Naruto swallowed loudly and met Sasuke’ eyes in the dark of the theater. His face felt hot, and he was glad the other man couldn’t see it.
A hand fisted the hair at the base of his neck, yanking down until the tip of his nose was brushing the wet head of the man’s cock. Lips touched his ear, curved into a smirk again.
“Suck me off, Naruto.” Sasuke whispered, his hand tightening in the blonde hair. Naruto licked his lips and then the head of the man’s penis, relishing in the hot breaths against his ear. He took the tip into his mouth, sucked lightly as he moved a hand down the pump at the base.
The screen flickered in his peripheral and Sasuke bit into his ear, growling softly.
“Good boy.” He murmured, pressing a kiss into the back of the blonde’s head. The boy moaned lightly and plunged his mouth down the thick length, taking it all the way to the back of his throat. He wasn’t the most talented at giving head, but he was determined to make his boyfriend writhe in pleasure.
Sasuke’s hips bucked and he fought not to choke as he swallowed around the hot erection. He could feel his own cock twitch, trapped in the space between his belly and his thigh. He was in an awkward position, bent over his legs, but Sasuke was keeping him in place.
Naruto pulled his head up to lick hungrily at the slit, picking up the clear beads of fluid. It was a little salty, but he’d eaten ramen that was far saltier.
Sasuke leaned over him, panting into his hair.
“Fuck, don’t stop.” The raven groaned, kissing the back of his neck, nibbling at the skin there. Naruto sped up his pace, slickening the man’s cock with his saliva, sucking hard. It twitched in his mouth, and more precum smeared over his tongue. “Nnn…almost there. Just-ah-a little more.” Sasuke breathed into his hair, suddenly forcing his head further down.
Naruto gagged as hot cum filled his mouth, and he swallowed desperately, trying to contain it all. Most of it dripped down his chin to stain Sasuke’s jeans.
Once the hand in his hair had loosened, he was able to pull away.
“Sorry, bastard. Most of your come got away from me.” Naruto frowned, using his hoodie sleeve to clean up the excess on his boyfriend’s pants.
A hand cupped the back of his neck again, yanking him forward until he found a tongue licking up his chin, cleaning the leftovers of his own semen. He got ridiculously aroused when Sasuke licked at the part of his lips, and he didn’t hesitate to grant the man entry. Sasuke’s other hand pushed against his chest until he was sprawled over three chairs, the armrests pushed up and out of the way.
Those talented lips trailed down his neck and locked onto his jugular as the bastard’s hands worked at the zipper and button of his jeans. They were so unbearably tight, and Sasuke’s tugging was only making it worse.
“God, I want to fuck you.” The man groaned against his throat, his hips thrusting futilely against the blonde’s clothed pelvis. Naruto mewled in agreement and put his hands on Sasuke’s shoulder blades so he could pull the man closer.
“What the
fuck are you two doing?!” Naruto jumped and pushed Sasuke away, the raven tripping over his own pants as they fell to his ankles. He fell into the space in between the seats, and Naruto struggled to sit up as Kiba stood in the aisle, looking disgusted and incredulous.
The blonde met his eyes reluctantly, but refused to flinch at the angry look the brunette threw at him and the man in the floor trying to pull his pants up.
“Why do you have to be a goddamn fag, Naruto? Why can’t you just be normal?!” Kiba’s shout echoed through the theater, most of it being drowned out by the screams of the movie. Heads turned, though, as Naruto got out of his seat, his body stiff like a snake ready to strike.
“Take that back, asshole!” Naruto growled back, his fist itching to bruise Kiba’s face. Where did Kiba get off saying shit like that to
him, of all people? “Like you have any fucking right to talk! Remember the last time you got drunk with Shino, huh?!”
Kiba went red in the face and behind him; Naruto could hear Sasuke finally getting up. The blonde turned his head to check on the man, when a fist caught him low in the jaw, He stumbled back, and Sasuke caught him under the arms.
Hands tightened on his biceps, probably to keep him from beating the shit out of Kiba. Thankfully, Sakura had stepped in between them, always their voice of reason. She motioned that they should leave before they were kicked out, and left the theater with the two feuding friends and Sasuke behind her.
She led them outside into the parking lot, so Naruto and Kiba could talk out their issues without interruption.
“You’re both sick. Especially
you, Uchiha.” Kiba spat, turning his head away, scowling. Naruto jumped at him again, but Sasuke was quick to hold him back.
“What kind of friend are you?!” The blonde yelled at Kiba, struggling in Sasuke’s grip, frustrated with the fact that Sasuke wasn’t fazed by the insults being thrown at them. “Fuck you if you can’t accept who I choose to be with!”
The grip on his arms tightened painfully, to the point of bruising, and Naruto winced as he looked up. Sasuke looked so angry, that for a second he actually feared for Kiba’s life. He could’ve sworn that Sasuke’s eyes had flashed red.
Naruto leaned up and kissed him, trying to get the man to relax. If Sasuke was just as angry as he was, who would stop him from breaking Kiba’s face?
“As far as I’m concerned, this friendship is fucking over.” Naruto spat venomously. The hands on his arms tightened again.
“I’ll drive you home.” Sasuke said, breathing slightly heavier than normal as he seized Naruto’s wrist and pulled the blonde boy towards his car. Within a few minutes, they were pulling out of the parking lot and headed in the direction of the blonde’s house.
It was quiet for a long time, with no sound in the car save for the ones outside. Naruto sighed and let his head fall to rest against the cold window.
Sasuke reached over the gear shift to take his hand, lacing their fingers together on the console between them. The raven smiled at him, for once, and Naruto smiled back a little shyly, feeling more depressed than angry now.
He was startled when his cell phone started vibrating in his back pocket. He fished it out and clipped it open without checking the caller ID.
“Yeah?” He grunted into the mouth piece, sending his boyfriend another shy smile.
The voice on the other end of the line, though, made the color drain form his face.
“Get home. Now. And tell Sasuke to come in with you.” Kakashi hissed.
Naruto felt his breath freeze in his lungs, and his eyes darted over to Sasuke, completely startled.
“Kiba told us everything, by the way. Suffice to say we have a lot to talk about.”
The line went dead, beeping loudly, signaling that Kakashi had hung up on him. He sat back against the seat and smacked his phone against his forehead, almost missing Sasuke’s concerned look.
“Kiba spilled the beans.” The blonde said morosely, slipping his phone back into his pocket. Sasuke swore colorfully under his breath, and Naruto tried to make his sudden anxiety go away.
Sasuke held his hand tighter as they pulled up to the front of the house, the blonde biting his lip as they walked up the driveway.
He could do this. Together, they could do this.
Kakashi couldn’t keep them apart.
