The Goth and The Jock

After hearing the door shut Lee got up and scooted into the bed next to Gaara wrapping his arm around him protectively. "Sleep well gaara.." He whispered as he closed his eyes and laid his head on the pillow.

After about half a hour Gaara suddenly sat bolt up right and freaked out feeling arms around him. "N-No don't!" He yelled and rolled right off the bed landing on the carpet with a thud, he blinked a few times now fully awake and looked around. "Where am I..?"

Lee jumped as well now fully awake, "Gaara.. what are you talking about calm down.." He reached for the redhead. "Are you ok..?" He asked his voice soft yet concerned.

Gaara blinked looking at Lee then slowly relaxed. "Where am I Lee..?" He asked and rubbed lower back.

"well.. I er.. wanted you to stay in my room from now on.. if that is ok.. so we are there.." Lee replied as he helped Gaara back onto the bed and rubbed his back to help him out.

Gaara looked around the room again taking in the book case that was covered with different things from rocks to a few shells and other rare things like a little shark jaw. "Oh..I have never seen your room." Gaara said and looked down at the soccer blanket that covered the bed, he looked over his shoulder at Lee to raise a hairless brow.

Lee sweat dropped looking down at the soccer blanket then back up at Gaara, "Er.. What?" He asked his voice a bit awkward from being slightly embarrassed thinking Gaara was judging him on the stuff in his room.

Gaara smirked hearing that Lee sounded awkward. "I like the colors in here.. I didn't know you liked sharks." Gaara said pointing at the jaws and a shark poster on the wall.

"You like them too??" Lee said a grin as he scratched his cheek awkwardly, "I mean uh yeah, I do like them. They are really cool..." He said trying not to sound too odd since when he started being popular most people liked him acting like a stereotype jock.

"Yeah.. they are misunderstood..I can kinda relate to them." Gaara said and leaned back on his hands. "I like you better when your not acting like everyone else...I like how you act when your with Naruto I can tell thats the real you." The redhead said tilting his head back to look at the painted ceiling.

Lee smiled, "really?!" His face glowed as he began to gain courage in speaking to gaara like how he would speak to Naruto. He leaned back against the headboard of the bed and grinned, "Oh yeah, Naruto left with one of his baseball buddies, so we are alone. We can play a game or something if you want," Lee said happily.

Gaara looked at Lee and had to bit his lip to keep from smiling. "Well..I dunno. Don't you have work?" He asked and got up to pick up his bag setting it on the bed and dumping it out, he bit up a stack of letters and set it under his album next to the bed. "Sorry just trying to find everything.."

"No I do not have work today and.. what are all those?" He asked pointing to the letters as he moved over going to take one off the stack.

"W-Wait!" Gaara said and grabbed Lee's hand, he then paused for a moment remembering he needed to be more trusting and let go. "Letters from my siblings...we write to each other every now and then...i can't bring myself to throw them away." He said looking down at the blanket.

Lee pulled his hand back, respecting Gaara's privacy and he smiled, "It is alright i do not need to read them.. and i think that is very cute.." He said giving Gaara's forehead a kiss before he hopped off his bed.

Gaara blushed and blinked a few times. "Cute?" He asked and looked at Lee. "Where are you going?" He asked after a moment.

Lee glanced over his shoulder, "I was going to make us some dinner." With that he walked out into the small kitchen of the apartment moving around starting to take stuff out and start cooking.

Gaara took the time to changed his clothes and went into the bathroom to wash his face, he walked into the kitchen and rubbed his elbow. "Lee...your friends.. do you think I am welcome around them.." Gaara asked looking at the floor.

"They did not reject you as much as they did Sasuke so I am pretty sure you are ok," Lee said softly. He turned around and grabbed Gaara's chin lightly pressing a spoon with a bit of liquid on it to his lips, "Try this and tell me how it tastes," he murmured.

Gaara blushed and slowly opened his mouth and tried what was in the spoon, he blinked and swallowed it. "It's good what is it?" He asked looking up into Lee's kind eyes.

"Beef Stew," Lee replied and ran his hand along Gaara's cheek in a soft caress before going back to cooking. When he was one he put the stew on the small table and vegetables and rolls. "Sorry, it is all we ave in the house," Lee stated as he lit candles set them on the table and turned off the lights. 'At home date.. will you go on it with me..?" He asked with a small nervous sweat drop.

Gaara blushed darker and his eyes widened. "You really want to date me?..even after all the trouble I have and probably will still put you through.." Gaara asked staring at the older male.

Lee nodded and held out his hand, "If you will allow me to.. I will happily date you Gaara.." He said in a soft tone as he smiled at the smaller boy. Tilting is head slightly he gazed at the other person in the dim light.

Gaara hesitated for a moment then slowly placed his hands in Lee's, after a few moments he squeezed his hand and nodded. "A-Alright.." He said feeling his cheeks heating up even more.

"Thank you.." Came the whisper of Lee's voice as he lead them over to the table and sat right next to Gaara. He started eating his own food and thought about what exactly to say before finally starting up a conversation. "What is your favorite animal?" he asked thinking of what he could do special for Gaara.

Gaara smiled for the first time that night and started eating as well. "Well...the king Cheetah.. Its a Cheetah that gets rare markings and its like one in 1000 chance it will be born." Gaara said and glanced up at Lee, he blinked as he looked at him and blushed a little. 'He is...handsome.' He thought and then almost slipped his water from getting distracted.

'Hmm.. I can make him a mask like that..' Lee thought as he nodded to what Gaara said. "They are very cool," He said softly as he gazed more at the redhead. 'He is so beautiful.." he thought then blushed and looked away.

They two of them sat awkwardly for a few moments then started eating again. "With what I am making its gonna be some time before I get enough to get another apartment..so I am kinda be stuck here for awhile if that’s ok." Gaara said and finished his food.

"I have no problem with it.. I actually feel like a jerk for how I acted before.." Lee murmured taking a sip of his soda. "I really would.. well like you to stay longer.." he added as he glanced at gaara from the corner of his eyes.

Gaara blinked and looked at Lee. "You sure..?" He asked and picked up his dishes and got up walking over and setting them on the counter.

The black haired male nodded, "Yes.. Why would I not want you to stay..??" lee asked feeling confused at the fact Gaara might not want to stay.

"Well I'm still a asshole." Gaara said with a sweat drop and then looked down. "And I have barely any money so I can't help with the rent or anything so I am being a burden.." He added and set his hands on the counter as he sighed.

Lee got up and waved his hands in front of himself quickly while saying, "No no no! You are not being a burden! Me and Naruto make enough money to pay for all of us, it is alright!" He smiled and gave Gaara's cheek a kiss, "I love you.. so.. I happily take on your burdens as a privilege I am happy to do."

"Ok...um..love you to.." Gaara replied still not used to hearing someone say that to him. He moved to sit up on the counter and set his hands beside him. "So..what to do?" He asked and gazes at Lee.

Lee's mind started to wander somewhere he didn't want it to go and he shook his head quickly to get the thought out. "We can go out and wander around town... or.. stay here and do.. something.." Lee said trying to hint at what his mind was going to see if Gaara wanted to or not.

"I really don't want to go out right now. Whats the something you want to do?" Gaara asked not picking up the hint at all and stretched his arms above his head popping his spine.

"Umm.." Lee leaned in awkwardly and kissed up Gaara's neck lightly whispering into his ear, 'Something like this.." He whispered softly.

Gaara shivered from the kiss on his sensitive skin and blushed deeply. "U-Uh.." He tried to talk but felt like his throat had a lump in it.

Lee wrapped his arms around Gaara's slim waist and traced patterns on the cloth on his skin. "Hmm.. what are you trying to say.. yes or no gaara?" lee asked hesitantly, yet very strait forward at the same time.

Gaara suddenly remember what happened with Sasuke and started to struggle. "N-No p-please.. I d-don't want that p-pain again." Gaara said through gritted teeth as tears formed in his eyes.

Lee blinked a little confused but kept his arms around gaara. Had he had sex before? "Gaara what are you talking about..?" He asked very carefully.
