Gaara's Arrival
Sorry for the long wait, but here it is! Yay.
Chapter 7 – Gaara’s Arrival
Naruto sat on the curb by his bike. He wouldn’t lie; he was excited to see the red head. He had text the other teen a little earlier that morning, letting him know were he could be found. He was just tossing his smoke when said red head walk out of the school already in his uniform. He shot the green eyed teen his foxy grin as he made his way over, and received a smirk in return.
“Kyuubi,” Gaara nodded his greeting.
Naruto hugged Gaara, giving him a quick peck on the cheek. “Lucky school getting us both in the same week, eh?” Gaara nodded. Together they made their way back towards the school. Naruto looked at Gaara and had to try not to laugh. He had put his outfit just like Naruto, except his bandana was on the opposite arm.
“So how did everyone take to your return?”
“As expected with the addition of one confrontation.”
Gaara quirked a non existent eyebrow at that, wondering who was brave or stupid enough. “Inuzaka.” The blonde informed him, causing Gaara to nod. As they entered the school, the warning bell rang, so the two walked silently to their lockers then class glaring at anyone who looked at them.
Naruto took his seat beside Sai, as Gaara opted to perch on the blonds’ desk till the teacher arrived. “Seems like your receiving just as many stares as I did.”
The red head smirked. “We are sexy, they just want us.”
“Indeed.” Sai confirmed with a leer.
“Sorry, but you couldn’t handle it.” Gaara said taking a quick glance at the bold teen, before pausing and staring hard. “Uchiha?”
“One, but not him.” Naruto supplied.
“How many damn Uchiha are there?”
“Which ones do you know?” the raven smirked. “Or want?”
“Itachi.” Both Naruto and Gaara purred and the blond gave his fox grin.
“What do you know of Itachi?” Was ground out from the left of them, and Naruto couldn’t help but wonder how the other teen managed to sneak up on them.
Gaara glared, “Who’s asking?”
“Uchiha Sasuke.” Naruto plucked a string from the green eyed boys’ shirt, ignoring the raven.
Gaara still ignored him as he spoke to Naruto, “Call him.”
Naruto glared and growled as he grabbed his phone and dialed the oldest of the three Uchihas.
Still ignoring Sasuke he turned to Sai, “How are you related?”
“Cousins,” Was answered with a shrug. Then he pulled a out a pencil and began to draw.
“Where is my seat?” Gaara looked around.
“Between Uchiha and Hyuga.” He could see the concern on the blonds face and gave a nod.
“Related to Hina.”
“Stop ignoring me!” Sasuke growled.
“We will.” The red head smirked at him just as the bell rang and Kakashi entered on time for the second time that week.
“He’s not answering.” Naruto hissed before walking out and ignoring everyone who was watching him.
“Naru-chan,” Kakashi sang earning a glare from said person. “Classes have started.”
“Then introduce Gaara.” He said as he left. “Sasori,” Naruto hissed when he was answered. “Where is Itachi?”
“He…" Sasori said.
Gaara took his seat between the Uchiha and Hyuga. One glaring holes into the side of his head and the other not even taking notice. He watched as the teacher scratched the side of his head before shrugging, and Gaara opened everything was fine with the gang.
“Well Gaara, if you’ll introduce yourself.” The teacher sat down and pulled out an orange book causing Gaara to role his eyes.
Not even bother to stand he looked at a few people with a bored expression. “My name is Sabaku Gaara, You’ve met Naruto, so there is no point in giving the same speech twice.”
Everyone watched waiting for him to continue. After a few moments Hyuga finally asked, “Same with the phone?”
The red head thought for a moment. “Yes and no. Most calls don’t go to me but if needed I go too.” And with that class continued.
It was another 10 minutes before Kyuubi came back into class, looking severely pissed off and growling about the stupidity of people. He almost laughed watching everyone try to act like they didn’t care, but with the red eyed boy it was a difficult feat.
Kiba slammed his lunch tray down onto the lunch table between Neji and Shikamaru. “What the hell is up with those two?”
“Who are you talking about?” Choji asked around a mouth full of food from across him.
“Uzumaki Naruto,” He growled.
“Did you say Naruto?” Haku asked as he took his seat between Kiba and Shika. Kiba nodded as he took a bite of his fries. “Red eyes, goes by Kyuubi?”
“You know him?”
“Never met him,” The brunette smiled. “Can’t wait to though, he’s the one who saved Zabuza’s life.”
“The time Zabuza finally bit off more then he could chew?” Choji asked.
“They jumped him out of no where for any reason! They all had knives; one even had a sword for some reason. Naruto and Gaara were walking past at the time and decided to help out. Nothing but there bare hands as there own weapons.” Haku said with a dreamy look on his face. “After some talking they took Zabuza into there gang. Only down side was that the five who jumped him turned around and created there own little gang and the two have been at war since.” He sighed as he took a bite out of his apple.
“Tch, troublesome.”
“Either way the guy is an ass!”
“Sasuke, what did you want from them?” Neji asked the stoic boy to his left.
“They were talking about Itachi.” Everyone knew that was one name you never mentioned around the raven.
“And?” Neji prompted him.
“They refuse to talk.”
“I always thought he was our friend.” Kiba pouted.
“People change.” Shikamaru said ending any further conversation on the teen.
“So why didn’t he answer?”
“Let’s just say that his phone was in his pants and his pants were on him.”
“Living room again?” He received a nod before both grinned and continued eating.
A/N: Sorry for the long wait. on the plus side i got my laptop working though at times it can be a real beotch. I'll do my best to atleast update weakly, also I'll be adding random oneshots that i had writen and will finally type up. Thanks to everyone who is still reading and thanks for the reviews.
