The Chemicals Between Us
There was a silver Bentley waiting for Iruka outside the apartment building and he sighed as Lee put his luggage in the back seat with him. There was no one suspicious hanging around so late in the day, Anko was watching to make sure.
The male brunette gave a half hearted wave as the driver shut his door for him and went around to his own seat. He felt uncomfortable with the new arrangement. Not so much with the likely reporters that would eventually show up, but living with Sasuke until the restraining order was put in place was going to be difficult.
When the conventions finally ended for the day, the group, including Tsunade, went out for a friendly diner. The night ended with the busty blonde and Tsume getting drunk and trying to put each other in a headlock.
Tsunade was a lot stronger than she looked despite her size and Tsume quickly came to the conclusion that the older woman (they were impressed with exactly how old she was), actually hid the rest of her muscles in her alarmingly sized breasts.
A blushing Chouza ended up having to take both women back to their rooms, Shikaku and his son ducking out early so they wouldn't have to help.
The next few days were a blur for Sasuke, Neji, and Sai. The Uchiha had back to back to back meetings stacked full of foreign investors who seemed mistrusting of the new products Sasuke's company was coming out with.
The raven went to his hotel room exhausted each night, getting up early to do interviews and press conferences. Neji suggested they wait until they were back home for the release of who Sasuke was seeing in his down time.
He didn't have time to call and see how the professor was doing at his house outside of Konoha, though he knew the small brunette was most likely uncomfortable with being left alone. It couldn't be helped and finally at the end of the week, the long meetings drew to an end.
Sasuke offered to fly everyone home on his jet and they took him up on it since they got to see each other so rarely now. The fourteen hour flight was spent mostly sleeping for the entire party, though they did have a final drink together before they landed.
Sasuke opened the front door with his driver following him inside as he carried the Uchiha’s suitcase and a few other items before dismissing himself and shutting the door behind him. The small white and black kitten the Uchiha was holding onto ducked into the dark suit jacket as the raven made his way deeper into the house, heading for the TV room after hearing the distant voices.
Iruka didn't hear Sasuke come in and stop in the doorway to watch him as he lay on the couch, eyes shut as he vaguely listened to the special on the History channel.
It had been too hard to sleep in the Uchiha's own bedroom and it had taken the brunette a while to figure out why. This far outside the city, there were no lights at night, no car horns, and no sirens for him to fall asleep to. For the past few days he'd been sleeping on the couch, needing the extra sound from the large TV to be able to sleep.
Sasuke walked over and set the tiny creature down by Iruka's feet, letting the kitten walk up the smaller man's body until lightly pressing on Iruka's groin as it tested out its footing.
The brunette furrowed his brows and gave a short grunt, slowly coming out of his doze. He blinked, staring at the TV screen and listening to the droning voice, feeling pressure over a very private place. Iruka shifted and looked down when he realized it wasn't a dream, propping himself up on his elbows as he stared down at his lap.
The little kitten tried to pounce on his chest, misjudged the distance and fell off the edge. Iruka leaned over to watch it claw it's way back up the blanket he had over him, settling back into his lap and licking his paws like nothing happened. He glanced up to see Sasuke smirking at him and wide smile broke out over his lips.
"So you won’t be alone while I'm gone." Sasuke answered the question he knew Iruka was going to ask as he lifted the tiny mewling creature up in his arms then got off the couch to greet the younger man.
The brunette smiled lightly, unsure of how to answer that. He still wasn't used to being unable to see the person he was in a relationship with whenever he wanted and it made him lonely just thinking about it. Iruka blushed as he stood up on the tips of his toes, leaning against Sasuke's strong frame as he kissed the Uchiha lightly.
"Thank you," he said honestly.
The raven nodded. "Were you alright here alone?" Sasuke reached down, removing the tiny claws from his shirt and skin.
"Yes, it was fine," Iruka lied. "How was your trip?"
Sasuke moved them back over to the couch. "Long." he answered as they sat down.
The brunette left some space between them, absently petting his new kitten as he watched Sasuke close his eyes. "Why don't you shower and lay down?" he suggested.
"That would be rude of me, I just got back." The raven opened his eyes and turned them onto Iruka.
The smaller man grinned and blushed, dropping his gaze and turning them toward the cat. "I'd rather you have more energy tonight."
“Alright,” the Uchiha smirked darkly.
“What’s its name?” Iruka asked, trying to make Sasuke stop giving him that lusting look.
Sasuke looked down at the small creature rubbing its nose against Iruka's thumb. "You can name him whatever you'd like, he's yours now."
The kitten perked up slightly blinking at Sasuke a few times before going back to the loving strokes on his tiny head.
Iruka grinned again and got up. "I'll make diner. Anything in particular you'd like?"
"Anything is alright with me." Sasuke answered slipping off his suit jacket and laying it over the back of the couch, giving Iruka a small smile. "I won’t be too long."
The brunette frowned sternly, leveling Sasuke with his gaze. "At least take a few hours, I can tell you're exhausted."
Sasuke nodded. "Alright, I'll take a short nap," he agreed, petting the kitten on the head as it batted at his tie.
"The delivery man should be here soon with pet food and a litter box among a few other things."
Iruka nodded and folded the blanket he had used, leaving it on the back of the couch. They parted ways in the hallway with a heated look passed before the brunette went to see what he could make.
Sasuke showered, taking longer than normal before putting on simple cotton pajama pants and then crawling into the large bed. The young billionaire fell asleep quickly enjoying the comfort of the lavish bed, deep crimson sheets and covers surrounded him as he lay on his stomach.
The delivery man came an hour later when the rice was steaming. Iruka set up the things, laughing when the kitten immediately pounced on the scratching post.
Iruka set the table, learning where everything was his first night there. The little kitten kept following him around, running in large leaps that often made him trip. He hadn't decided what to name the creature yet so he called the cat 'Akanbo' until he thought of something better.
Four hours had already bled into five when Iruka was finally done cooking. He didn't want to wake Sasuke if the man was this tired, but knew the Uchiha would want him to. Iruka straightened his ponytail as he padded up the stairs, his bare feet making no noise on plush carpet or metal rungs.
Akanbo had trouble getting up the stairs and pouted, leaving his new master behind in favor of destroying his scratching post.
Iruka stepped quietly into Sasuke's bedroom, watching the prone form slumber. Sasuke snored, grunted and turned his head to the side before sleeping soundly again.
The brunette smiled and climbed into bed with him, laying half over the taller man to feel his warmth. Nimble fingers began massaging the pale skin beneath them, working the knots out of Sasuke's back as he furrowed his brows.
Sasuke grimaced again before opening an eye, turning and looking up at doe brown eyes. "What time is it?"
He rolled a shoulder into the firm touch before continuing to turn onto his side facing the professor. Dark eyes closed for a few seconds before opening again.
"Almost ten," Iruka answered softly, shifting onto his stomach beside Sasuke. "I wanted to let you sleep, but you should eat something first."
The raven rolled onto his back and sat up, the sheet and thick covers pooling at his waist and exposing the taunt chest. "It smells delicious."
Sasuke turned his head to look at the professor as he sat up as well. Iruka smiled and stood.
"And you are going back to bed after eating," he said sternly. "You couldn't have gotten that much sleep while you were away."
"I got enough." Sasuke answered as he tossed the covers off himself and stood, following Iruka out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.
The brunette frowned and raised a brow. The Uchiha still looked extremely tired and despite what he said, Iruka could tell the taller man needed sleep. Akanbo skittered into the kitchen after them, pouncing on Sasuke's foot before starting to gnaw on his big toe.
The raven arched a brow before bending down to pick up the tiny creature, petting it gently then setting him down on the top of the emerald green scratching condo.
"Does he have a name yet?" Sasuke asked sitting down at the small table tucked in the breakfast nook with large wide windows over looking the dimly lit backyard.
Iruka shrugged and started serving them both. "I haven't thought of a name actually. I just keep calling him Akanbo."
Sasuke glanced at the kitten as he wriggled his butt readying himself to launch off the top of the tower and onto his lap. The raven cleared his throat which scared the small creature who tumbled backwards onto another part of the tower. The younger turned to look at Iruka who was chuckling lightly at the scene.
A small smile curled onto Sasuke's lips before a soft pink hue tinted the smaller man's cheeks. Iruka glanced away, watching the kitten stubbornly climb back up to the top of the tower to glare at Sasuke. He poured their tea and took the chair next to the Uchiha's, smiling fully.
"Inuzuka-san left me a message," the smaller man said lightly.
Sasuke coughed after swallowing the hot tea, almost choking on the slightly sweetened liquid. "She did?" He arched a brow as he set down the porcelain cup.
The brunette nodded before starting in on his meal, taking a few bites before answering. "So you kissed Shikamaru-kun when you were a teenager?"
Sasuke bit down on the chopstick in his mouth. "What else did she tell you?" He continued eating as if nothing had happened.
Iruka grinned and turned back to his plate. "Oh...just some stories."
"Elaborate." Sasuke half asked as the continued eating watching the brunette take a long drink.
"I shouldn't say anything, you've had a long week and Tsume-san asked me not to tell."
"I'm sure I'll find out soon enough anyway." Sasuke took another bite, a mischievous smirk crossing his lips.
"Oh?" Iruka raised a brow. "Why do you say that?"
"It'll be interesting to see what she does in retaliation." Sasuke's smirk stayed as he looked at Iruka out of the corner of his eye.
Most people would have thought it was something they did because they were rich and bored, but it was just how things worked sometimes.
Sasuke was never one for pranks or goofing around, especially when his father was alive, but after years of sitting back and taking pranks from Tsume, one day Shikamaru had offered to help the raven as long as he paid and they didn't end up in jail. Since then the two had been a team, Tsume enlisted the help of Shikamaru's mother on occasion.
"Do you...do this often?" the smaller man couldn't imagine taking on a woman like Tsume.
Sasuke lifted a brow. "Cat." He said giving a nod in the direction of the kitty condo.
Iruka turned just in time to receive a small puff of fur leaping into his lap.
"Akanbo," the brunette admonished. The kitten opened its mouth wide and mewed as he was petted. "Let me feed him again, I'll be right back."
"Alright." Sasuke watched Iruka leave the table and walking around the large kitchen to where he had set up the small bowls for food and water.
Akanbo mewled as the professor opened a small can of soft food, dumping the juicy contents into the small bowl before tossing the can and walking back over to the table. The two heard a loud purring sound as the tiny creature ate.
"What did you tell them about me?" the brunette asked curiously when they started eating again.
"Just that you are a teacher." Sasuke answered taking another bite.
"You didn't brag about me?" Iruka joked.
An elegant eyebrow rose. "Should I have?" Sasuke asked, stopping mid bite.
The smaller man blushed and scratched the back of his head. "No, I guess there isn't much to say."
"I'd rather keep personal matters personal." Sasuke answered.
"And I'd rather the whole world not know that I had great sex before a trip." The raven added nonchalantly before taking a bite.
Iruka went a few brilliant shades of red and pink as he stared down at his plate. He opened his mouth to stutter a reply, but nothing came out.
The professor fiddled with his glasses for a few moments. "Erm…thank you."
Sasuke’s smirk was masked partially by his chewing, giving the smaller man an appreciative nod. The blush graced Iruka's cheeks for a few minutes longer as they ate, the younger man finishing his plate first.
"That was better than mine." He gave the brunette a soft smile.
"Thank you," Iruka said again, still thrown off by the earlier compliment that was quickly becoming his favorite one he'd ever received. "You should go to sleep now."
"No dessert?" Sasuke teased slightly before turning to look at the brunette. "I'll wait till you're finished." He answered. It was rude to leave a guest to eat alone.
"No, I don't think I can eat anymore," Iruka laughed, pushing his plate away.
His cheeks were still flaming with embarrassment. No one had ever said anything like that to him before in his entire life. The brunette glanced away, an almost bashful smile lighting his face.
"And you're too tired for dessert," he flirted.
Sasuke nodded. Despite his stubbornness he was exhausted and slightly jetlagged still. After a week and a half of being up at this hour and sleeping while everyone here was awake had thrown him off.
"Alright." The raven scooted back in his chair, grabbing his plate off the table and heading to the sink with Iruka following quickly behind.
The night ended with the brunette insisting that Sasuke sleep until morning and promising him they'd spent lunch together the next day. He laid down with the young billionaire until Sasuke fell asleep, soon growing restless with how quiet everything was. Iruka got up from the large bed and went back into the entertainment room to turn on the TV and sleep on the couch.
Sasuke woke the next morning with the tiny kitten curled up just under his chin, the small animal was curled into a ball having been left when Iruka had gone downstairs. After a shower and getting dressed the raven took Akanbo into the TV room so he could make breakfast without having to change into a clean suit.
Halfway though making their meal Neji called to inform the Uchiha they had a meeting over brunch. Sasuke left breakfast and a note, setting the alarm in the kitchen to make the professor coffee so he would be up in time for classes before leaving.
Iruka was a bit surprised to see Tsunade standing just inside the University gates with bat and some baseballs when the car pulled up. Sasuke’s driver shot the brunette a worried look, but the smaller man just smiled and thanked him for the ride. The busty woman raised a sculpted brow and students streamed inside.
"What's going on?" Iruka asked her as he neared.
Tsunade smirked. "EVERYONE DOWN!!!"
The small male ducked on instinct as Tsunade tossed a ball in the air and swung the bat as hard as she could. The ball went flying passed the gates and road to smash into the windshield of a parked car. Two men jumped from behind a group of bushes the car was near and climbed in before speeding off.
"Reporters," Tsunade answered with a wide grin.
Iruka stared, dumbfounded.
"They're here for you sweetheart," she said in a honeyed tone. "Now go on inside. THAT GOES FOR ALL OF YOU!"
Immediately the students and teachers ran into the building as they heard another windshield break followed by a wild cackle.
Shikamaru looked up from the newspaper he was reading as Iruka, followed by Tsunade and Anko, entered the staff room. A fine brow arched as Iruka sat down at the table with his papers and a few other things, a soft blush spreading over his cheeks. The younger brunette folded the paper as he sat up slightly, gathering his things to leave.
"I'm still so sorry Tsunade-sama," Iruka continued on. "I didn't mean for this to happen."
Tsunade rolled her shoulders and gave the bat an affectionate caress with her long nails. "I already said not to worry--"
"And Sasuke is putting the school grounds under a restraining order from the press, so this will stop soon," the small professor said.
The blonde scratched her ear. "Iruka...shut up and get to class, I told you everything would be fine...what the hell are all you slackers doing?!"
Tsunade rounded on the other teachers in the lounge as she raised her bat threateningly. "What do I pay you for?!"
There was a mad dash for the door and many feet were stepped on.
In his first class of the day, things were just fine like Tsunade had said. Everyone was normal, there was little chatter and Lee had come in early to help with the grading. His second class was the one he was worried about, and for good reason.
Iruka set out the reports he'd gone over the last week for Lee to hand out as he glanced over his students. Tenten, as always, was in the very front row, staring at her professor with large loving eyes, sighing occasionally and cocking her head.
After a few moments, Iruka noted that no, he was not hallucinating and yes, Tenten did have 'love' written in blue ink on one eyelid and 'you' scrawled across the other. The effect was slightly distracting to say the least.
Every time their gazes met, she'd give a drawn out blink so that the male brunette could clearly read what she'd done. Iruka tried to stay away from her.
He noticed Ino sitting in the very back row, scowling darkly at him every time he looked her way or asked a direct question. Sakura was by her side, but ignored her in favor of making lewd comments to Lee when he passed her by. When Naruto came in almost half an hour late holding up a tabloid paper, Iruka knew the day had just taken a turn for the worst.
Sasuke looked up from his papers as Neji entered his office. "The brunch?"
"Yeah, they canceled. Has some other business to attend to first." Sasuke answered as he went back to writing.
"Did you get it?" The Uchiha asked after a few moments of silence between the two.
The Hyuuga nodded. ”It’s in the works."
Sasuke nodded. The two dark haired men had known each other long enough that they didn't need complete sentences when speaking to each other. Dark eyes rose when Sai entered, beckoning Neji to the phone.
The short haired man smiled annoyingly at Sasuke. "Uchiha-san, Inuzuka-san's car has been painted and impounded like you asked."
"Alright." Sasuke nodded. "If she come's by, don't let her in."
Sai nodded. "Yes, Sir."
Sasuke glanced up at his assistant before the short haired man disappeared out of sight. After a few minutes Sasuke pulled out his cell phone, calling the restaurant to make reservations for lunch before dialing the professor's office number.
Iruka stared down the two students in his office. They shot each other nervous glances as they sat in front of him. The brunette rapped his fingers against the heavy wood, his easy gaze sliding between the boys. Finally the younger one broke.
"I'm sorry Professor!" he cried. "There's this guy outside paying money for people to dig up stuff on you and give it to him."
The other boy scowled and crossed his arms over his chest. Iruka sighed and rubbed his temples. He'd come into his office to find the two trying to hack into his computer. Of course he didn't have anything remotely incriminating on it, but still, it was an annoyance and greatly unappreciated. The phone rang and he turned to it.
"Go, you'll hear from the Dean about this," the brunette said, dismissing the students.
They both scrambled away to leave their professor in privacy, slamming the door behind them Iruka waited until he sat down and heard their footsteps disappear before answering.
"Umino Iruka," he said politely
"I made reservations." Sasuke said as Sai walked back into his office, handing him a folder with more paperwork in it.
Iruka smiled as he logged onto his computer to print out some extra testing papers. "For what time?"
"In about an hour." The raven nodded at Sai who returned to his desk, knowing who the Uchiha was talking to.
“Do you want me to meet you there?" Iruka asked as he finished up.
"I'll send a driver, I know reporters have been at the University. It'll be a few days before the restraining order is in place."
The professor grinned. "Tsunade is having fun dealing with them. I think she almost wants to thank you."
Sasuke arched a brow. "Really?" he turned in his chair to get to the computer.
"Yes she's set up camp outside the front gates with a baseball bat," Iruka said.
The younger chuckled in amusement. "I'm sure they appreciate that."
The professor glanced up as Lee knocked and opened the door, raising a curious thick brow.
"I have to go now, see you in an hour," Iruka paused and tried not to blush. "This time I'll make sure you get your dessert."
Sasuke smirked with the implication. “I’ll see you then.”
They hung up, the Professor leaving for his next class as Sasuke went back to work.
When Iruka left the University there was no reporters, only baseball sized dents in the cement and surrounding foliage. Tsunade had pitched a lawn chair out in the middle of the courtyard and she was lounging on it lazily with a bottle of sake in one hand and a bat in the other.
"My aim's getting better!" she called as a good bye.
The car was waiting and Iruka only waved in reply, anxious to get away from the scary woman.
Sasuke glanced down at his half empty glass of water, knowing that Iruka must have gotten stuck in the lunch hour traffic. The waiter came back around asking if he would like to order, Sasuke hesitated for a moment before ordering their meals.
It was another half hour before the brunette finally arrived, the driver apologizing sincerely as he pulled up. Iruka smiled and waved the man off, telling him it was alright and that no, he wouldn't be fired.
A waiter greeted him warmly and led him straight to Sasuke at a table near the back away from prying eyes. People in the restaurant craned their necks around to see them, whispering to each other.
Sasuke stood until Iruka sat down, the waiter taking the brunette’s drink order before excusing himself politely. "Have any trouble?" The younger asked as the waiter returned with a pot of tea and two small cups on a tray.
"No, just traffic," the professor replied as he got comfortable. "I think Tsunade scared the reporters off of me for a few days anyway. Though I did catch some kids breaking into my office for information."
"They didn't take anything did they?" Sasuke asked pouring himself and the professor a glass.
Iruka shook his head and adjusted his glasses. "No, they were trying to get onto my computer though."
The raven nodded as he took a sip of the steaming liquid. "I'm sorry..." He started but the waiter interrupted them as he brought out their food. "I ordered for you, I hope you don't mind..."
The meal smelled good and Iruka smiled widely. "Thank you! It seems strange to ask but...how was your day?"
"Boring." Sasuke answered with a slight smirk curled on his lips. "Brunch was canceled and..." the younger stopped when his cell phone vibrated in his breast pocket.
The brunette glanced away, trying not to show his disappointment. It seemed he had been looking forward to lunch with the young Uchiha all day and now Sasuke was going to be taken away again.
Iruka stared out the large windows across from them, his gaze immediately attracted to a very tall figured dressed in a black trench coat. He noticed a smaller person beside the first and furrowed his brows, wondering what they were doing in such bulky clothing in the middle of a heat wave. The professor slid his gaze to Sasuke again.
The Uchiha was talking quietly, dark eyes glanced up to see the professor watching him before Iruka looked away again.
"Alright. twenty minutes." Sasuke flagged the waited down, the man rushing over to the young billionaire. "Alright, bye."
Sasuke closed his phone as the man reached them. "Yes, sir?"
"I want to pay for this now, and I need two boxes to go." The raven answered.
The skinny balding man nodded and rushed away.
"Apparently some papers were misplaced, I have to sign them again." Sasuke gave a small explanation of why their lunch was interrupted.
Iruka nodded in acceptance. "I'll go back to the house. I hope it was nothing too important."
"I told him it could wait, I ordered your desert to go." Sasuke lifted up his small glass of tea and took a drink. "No more interruptions."
"You shouldn't have done that," the brunette said, rubbing his scar. "I know how busy you are. It doesn't bother me."
"Don't lie." Sasuke said flatly before taking a bite. "I can see it in your eyes."
And as if to make his point, their gazes met. The professor held the younger man's intense stare for only a few seconds before looking away. Sasuke nodded to the waiter as he slipped the bill on the table, pulling the small leather folder into his lap as he took another bite.
Iruka picked his words carefully as he fiddled with his glasses. "It...bothers me. But I understand that you can't take so much time away."
Sasuke slid more than enough cash into the small black leather folder to pay for lunch, discreetly under the table while Iruka spoke, watching the smaller man carefully. He set the small folder back onto the edge of the table before continuing to eat.
"According to some people, even I deserve a personal life, it's unfair for me to ask you to wait."
"I've waited for a while, Sasuke," Iruka said with a small smile. "I don't mind waiting a little longer."
Sasuke arched a brow with the statement, the implication it presented he was unsure of. Before the raven could reply his phone rang again, vibrating in his pocket. A soft sigh escaped the younger man before answering his phone.
"Yeah..." He glanced up at Iruka as the professor took a bite, looking off across the street. "Eating... yeah...."
The men in the black trench coats were still there, staying in the shadow of the shop across the street. Iruka couldn't shake the feeling that they were watching him and Sasuke and mentally frowned.
It was unfair to be followed around by reporters, especially after this morning's incident when Naruto brought in the tabloid paper. The front page had been the brunette smiling playfully at the Uchiha while they exited a car. He turned back to Sasuke when the younger man closed his phone with a sharp snap.
"Apparently it's an emergency." The raven said flatly.
He looked over their half eaten plates. "I owe you another lunch." Sasuke gave the professor a soft smile. "Do you mind stopping by my office before heading back to the university?"
The waiter appeared with their desert wrapped neatly in a cardboard box which was tucked into a bag with the restaurant’s name on it.
"That is if you have the time."
Iruka looked at his watch. "I have plenty of time before my next class, don't worry. And it might be interesting to see where you work."
Sasuke nodded towards the door as the waiter slipped away with the bill. The Uchiha's driver was waiting by the curb for them, having been informed by the restaurant that the two were preparing to leave. The young looking man smiled at Sasuke as he opened the back door for the two, the raven nodded back as he let Iruka climb in first.
The brunette felt compelled to look up once more, his eyes darting across the street to where he'd seen the reporters. They were gone by now, but more had taken their place and were snapping photos and making phone calls. Iruka glanced back at Sasuke before getting in.
The raven gave his driver a quick glance before ducking into the car. The door shut behind Sasuke, the young man jogging quickly around the black limo before getting in and pulling away from the curb and the intrusive reporters.
"Will you just stay at the office when I go back to the University?" Iruka asked, wanting desperately to find out what desert Sasuke ordered, since the delicious scent was filling up the car.
"I'll ride back with you, I shouldn’t be too long, and you can come up if you wish." The younger man replied, sliding over the bag containing the sweet treat he had picked out for the professor. "I think you'll like it."
Iruka grinned as he opened the box, scooting closer to Sasuke. It was cake. Not just cake. It was the single most beautiful large piece of cake to have ever existed. The brunette's grip tightened around the box out of habit, far too used to Anko snatching treats out of his hands.
"I thought you didn't like sweets?" the brunette said lightly, staring at the chocolate mass sprinkled with strawberries.
"That's your dessert." Pale lips curled into a sly grin.
Iruka blushed at the heated look he was gifted with and decided to play along. "What's yours?"
The grin grew slightly. "You said you had mine..." He turned his head to face the brunette.
"I didn't say what it was," Iruka pointed out.
"No you didn't." A dark brow raised in question. "What is mine then?" Sasuke's smirk never waned.
The smaller man's expression turned thoughtful as he adjusted his glasses. "You like tomatoes don't you? At least that's what your fansite says. Maybe I can make you something...."
Sasuke chuckled lightly.
"If I see one more tomato..." he glanced up as they slowed to a stop, the red light dimmed to a deep plum though the soundproof, tinted glass behind the driver.
"Oh, you don't like them?" Iruka asked, shutting the box and shifting it to his other side.
"Too much of a good thing..." The taller man started, knowing very well the professor knew the rest of the saying.
The brunette couldn't stop himself, "Does that apply to everything? Hm...I'll keep that in mind."
"Not..." The grin returned. "...everything."
Iruka nodded as if he were making a mental list. "Alright, so tomatoes are still okay."
"I wasn't talking about tomatoes." Sasuke glanced out the window as they turned, knowing they were nearing his office building. "So where is my dessert, then?"
The smaller man grinned and bit his lip hesitantly before tilting the Uchiha's face back towards him, leaning up to kiss the raven lightly. "It'll be in your bed when you get home."
Sasuke smirked, pulling the professor back for another kiss as they slowed. "Then I might just have to get home early."
The limo stopped and they pulled back before the door opened.
Iruka didn't want the warm lips to leave him, but he hesitantly let go as the driver stood there waiting. He moved out after Sasuke, his eyes immediately drawn high to the skyscraper. It was a massive tower, extending what must have been six city blocks, surrounded entirely by a wide and green landscape, kept perfectly manicured.
Men and women dressed in the same suits walked out of the tall building, talking animatedly to each other, some were wearing laboratory coats and were incredibly pale. These ones would scurry out of the building, blinking widely like they had never seen the sun before there faces lit up with an idea, then they'd go back in.
The many lined windows were tinted, making the bright light from the day gleam excitedly as the beams were reflected. The steel was a cool blue, somehow looking extremely perfect and out of place in a part of the city where there were no tall buildings for a while.
The brunette took a step forward, noting the heavily guarded gates before glancing up at Sasuke.
Sasuke motioned for Iruka to walk just ahead of him, the two heading into the building behind a group of people who were just returning from lunch. The guards waved and nodded at Sasuke, letting him pass without question. Iruka had to sign in at the front desk before the two continued to the elevator for the slightly lengthy ride to the top floor.
Iruka watched as the little golden buttons lit up as they were left in the large compartment alone. "This is impressive," he said with a wide smile.
Sasuke nodded. "Most department heads are here."
The elevator stopped before the top floor, doors opening slowly.
"Sorry Mr. Uchiha." The man backed up, seeing the raven standing in the elevator.
The doors closed again before the elevator continued its ascent.
The smaller man raised a brow. "The people that work for you are afraid to get in the same elevator with you?"
"No, he was going down, we are going up." The taller replied, glancing at the lights to see what floor they were on.
Iruka looked away, a small smile on his face. The red blinking light of the security camera caught his attention and his gaze went upward.
His arm brushed gently against Sasuke's jacket as his face grew heated at the thought of what the younger man wanted that night. The brunette's heart sped up automatically, recalling their first time together as his doe eyes fell to the side.
The elevator stopped and Sasuke's hand lightly pressed against Iruka's lower back so that he would know this was the correct floor. Sasuke exited the elevator first, slipping past Iruka, who followed him silently.
The petite woman receptionist behind the desk smiled at Sasuke and greeted the pair with a 'good afternoon', watching as both men disappeared down the hall.
The Uchiha's office was toward the back of the floor where there were fewer people. Eventually only three rooms branched off the main hallway.
One had its door open and was obviously used for board meetings from the large table inside it. The second one was marked Hyuuga Neji in bold letters; it was shut. The last office sported the name Uchiha Sasuke and was opened slightly.
A man a little taller than Iruka himself came out, smiling happily at nothing in general, carrying a stack of papers. The professor remembered the short haired secretary's face, but not his name.
"Sai, do you have those papers Neji was fussing about?"
Sai set the large stack he was carrying on his desk before opening one of the file cabinets behind him, reaching for a few folders. "Here."
Sasuke took the folders offered and gave the professor a small nod, the two heading into his office, the younger closing the heavy wooden door behind them.
Iruka glanced at the large room; it housed only a single wide desk and a few chairs. The walls were dotted with art pieces and the floor to ceiling windows had their shades drawn. He glanced around, feeling oddly comfortable in the office as he walked toward the windows, wanting to see the view.
Sasuke went over to his desk, laying the folders on top as he sat down, scooting forward so that he could work on filling out the papers as quickly as possible.
"I'll only be a few minutes. There's a mini fridge with some water and juice over there, if you're thirsty." the younger nodded towards the bureau sitting in the corner of the large room as he started to write.
"Thank you," Iruka said automatically.
He pressed a button on the wall nearest to him and the blinds retracted instantly, bathing the office in warm natural light. The smaller man stepped to the window and looked down, seeing the world from thirty stories high. The city was over a few miles away and glimmered dazzlingly in the afternoon sun.
"Your view is incredible," Iruka found himself saying out loud.
"It's better at night." Sasuke glanced up seeing Iruka's silhouette against the bright day outside. "But you'll have to see it another time."
The Uchiha smirked before going back to writing, knowing the professor would pick up on the implication to their conversation in the car.
"As long as it doesn't become too much of a good thing," Iruka answered cheekily, sliding his doe eyed gaze to the taller man.
Sasuke chuckled. "I'd need a demonstration to decide if it would be." This time the raven didn't look up.
"You've seen the view though," the brunette commented lightly, a blush skittering across his cheeks.
Pale lips curled into a smirk. "I wasn't talking about the view."
"You've seen that view too," Iruka joked rubbing his scar as his glance flitted away.
"Does that mean I don't get dessert?"
The brunette looked over his shoulder, eyes slightly wide as his cheeks reddened. "You can't mean...now?"
The raven stopped writing and looked up at Iruka, giving the smaller man a confident smirk.
"Why not?" Sasuke asked having noticed the way the professor's cheeks had flushed red and how he had scooted closer to Sasuke when stumbling upon the camera.
The brunette looked away again, his blush taking over his features as his heart sped up.
"Your door isn't locked," he protested weakly, trying to hide how his cock was already twitching.
There was something fundamentally wrong with this situation, made even more so because Iruka was actually becoming excited. It would be a high risk situation, anyone could come through the door and see them....
"Neji is working and Sai won’t come in here." The younger man answered as he lifted his pen again.
Iruka shifted, turning to face Sasuke, waiting to see if the taller male was joking or not. He certainly didn't seem to be...
"I don't...have anything," the brunette said.
The younger glanced up at Iruka from his papers before looking back down at his desk suddenly remembering Sai kept a small tube of lube in the back of one of his drawers thinking that the Uchiha didn't know about it.
He rolled back, opening the drawer against his chest and sliding his hand to reach into the back, fingers lightly brushing against the tube before pulling it to the front.
"I do." The tiny white tube came into the smaller man's view for a few seconds before disappearing again.
"But I only had a chance to look at my dessert," the brunette teased lightly, his arousal showing in the flush in his cheeks and the husky voice he now sported.
"You still have the car ride back." The Uchiha pointed out. "I barely got a taste in the car." He added giving the professor a half lidded gaze and a smirk while flipping over a paper before he went back to filling them out.
Iruka glanced at the door one last time, his nerves sending dizzying bolts of adrenaline through his system before he walked behind Sasuke. He leaned forward slightly over the chair, pretending to look over what the younger was signing, his hands drifting down from Sasuke's shoulders.
"Are you sure?" the smaller man asked, licking his lips.
Once he had finished signing his name Sasuke set down his pen, his head turning so that the brunette was in his peripheral vision. Iruka grinned excitedly, his heart beating loudly as he shifted to stand in front of Sasuke. He stared for a few more seconds at the attractive billionaire sitting in front of him before leaning down, slowly bringing their lips together and quickly pulling them apart to tease.
Sasuke kept his gaze on the smaller man even as he pulled back a little farther, their faces inches apart. A slight smirk worked its way onto the raven's lips before rolling his chair back a bit more. Iruka blushed darkly at the invitation, biting his lips to cover his smile as he eased down into Sasuke's lap, spreading his legs wide over the younger man’s thighs, his breathing picking up speed.
"I'm not calling you Mr. Uchiha," he said lightly, pressing forward, rolling his hips.
"Good." Sasuke answered, leaning back a bit so the chair would tilt back as well.
With the extra weight, the chair tipped back quickly, jolting Iruka into a sudden deep kiss. The brunette's back went rigid, his hips automatically tilting and adjusting to keep them balanced.
He spread his legs more, straddling Sasuke easily as the paler man's tongue invaded his mouth. Iruka caught the wriggling muscle and sucked on it lewdly, giving a soft groan of appreciation while he twisted his fingers in the ink black locks.
Sasuke's hands slowly worked their way up Iruka's body from his knees, one stopping to rest on the small of the professor's back, the other traveling up the smaller man's spine. Pale fingers brushed against the back of Iruka's neck, the brunette shivered lightly before the raven ran his hand into dark chocolate locks, pulling the rubber band from holding them back in the taunt ponytail.
Iruka blushed as his hair spilled around his face, pulling back slightly. He pressed his palms down against Sasuke's abdomen, grinding down firmly over the stiff bulge he could feel rubbing against his rear. The smaller man bent forward for another kiss, trailing his lips down Sasuke's jaw to his ear lobe, suckling gently.
Slender fingers slowly pulled the light blue shirt from its hold tucked neatly in the pressed khakis. When the pads of pale digits met warm honeyed skin, they delved down, slipping past the belt to fan softly over the sensitive skin they found there.
The other hand quickly joined the first to pull the rest of the unwrinkled shirt from its captor before sliding up the back. Sasuke took in a quick deep breath when Iruka's teeth grazed over the underside of his jaw, just below the ear before his tongue quickly followed bring soft kisses to the area.
The raven's thumb dipped down into his briefs brushing against coarse dark curls, his fingers fanned over the smaller man’s taunt stomach and curling over the professor's hip.
Iruka groaned nibbling his way down Sasuke's throat, nudging the taller man's chin so that he arched his pale neck. His kiss-reddened lips spread quickly over the flushing skin, leaving bright marks as he trailed his fingers up into the taller man's shirt.
The brunette moaned and grinded down harder when Sasuke started tracing the tattoo branded into his dark skin. His quick fingers flicked at the pearly white buttons on the Uchiha's black shirt, taking them off slowly, ignoring the dark jacket for now. Iruka bent down, his lips pressing furious kisses over Sasuke's revealed collar bone as he reached for the lube.
Sasuke's fingers were quick, unbuckling the worn belt without a sound, the button and zipper of the light khaki pants soon following. A soft groan escaped the younger man as Iruka nipped at his jutting clavicle, teeth lightly scratching the milky skin.
Large hands pulled on freshly exposed hips as the Uchiha ground up against the brunette sitting in his lap, his cock pressed between a pale thigh and the clothed cheek of the professor.
Iruka panted swiftly, rolling his hips into the stronger frame beneath him. He quickly shirked off his shirt and tie before being pushed up against the desk. The brunette's doe eyed gaze hooded lowly with arousal as Sasuke pulled at his pants, tossing his shoes below the desk with his other clothing.
Iruka stood up to help as he was hastily undressed, feeling even more vulnerable and turned on with being naked while the Uchiha was still clothed. He whimpered softly, reclaiming his seat in the younger man's lap, riding the tented groin hard.
Sasuke groaned deeply into the mouth pressed against his own as Iruka's nimble fingers unbuckled the black leather belt, pulling it slowly from the belt loops and then quickly tossing it to join the clothes already discarded under the large desk.
The raven's shirt was next, the smaller man first pulling it from the black dress pants before he slowly started unbuttoning it. Sasuke lightly dipped his fingers into the valley between the round cheeks before the Uchiha leaned them up a bit, his fingers moving to curl slowly around the base of the professor’s throbbing cock, giving the engorged member a firm squeeze.
Iruka cried out, the sound instantly being swallowed by Sasuke's demanding mouth as the smaller man arched his back. His smooth thighs trembled as the long fingers spread him open, exposing his puckered entrance to the cooler air.
"Sasuke-sama," the brunette moaned, aching to feel the younger inside him.
In the frenzy, he'd dropped the lube on the floor. A groan escaped him as the Uchiha started playing with his rear, gripping the firm cheeks and giving them a healthy squeeze, the tips of his fingers tickling the tight ring of muscle. Iruka leaned down to grab the wayward bottle, grinning as he bit his lip, knowing this was going to be a good one.
They both froze as a door opened and closed in the hallway, followed by sharp precise footsteps.
"Sai!" a voice rang out. There was no answer.
"Where is that fool?" Neji growled.
They could hear the Hyuuga coming closer, his destination obvious. Iruka blushed a brilliant cherry red as he and Sasuke both tried to dress the taller man at the same time. He ducked under the desk to grab his clothes, knowing it was already too late.
Sasuke had just finished buttoning his shirt when the door opened. Iruka stayed perfectly still under the heavy desk, knowing he couldn't be seen.
