Iiiii'm Baaaaack!!!Hehehe this is the last chapter I've already written so I have to work on it......tonight? well, I may not be on regularly because it's just me & my mom again.....and when she doesn't have anything to do, she intentionally makes me mad so she can ground me.....whatever.

Haku wasn't stupid, he knew Sasuke didn’t have any feelings for him, but hell! If a sexy, rich, guy wants to hold his hand then he’s gonna’ hold his hand God Damnit!

“Is this dinner place, far from here?” Haku asked.

“Not really, it’s within walking distance.”

“Then let’s walk, it’s breezy and I like it when the wind goes through my hair.”

Haku smiled.

‘He has a wonderful smile…..just like….’ Sasuke cut his thoughts short and answered.

“Okay.”

They walked down the street and past a convenient store in silence, still hand-in-hand to Sai’s house.


"I'm thirsty!" Kiba said.

"Yeah, me too. Even though we can get something at Sai's."

Kiba looked at Naruto like; 'No I'm thirsty NOW!'

"Fine."

Naruto and Kiba were two of a kind, and couldn't wait, so they decided to stop at a nearby convenient store, to buy something to drink. Naruto walked to the front with his drink and waited in line while Kiba was already done and leaning up against the counter, looking at something at the back of the store. Naruto looked around while waiting and dropped the drink he was holding, when he glanced out the window to see Sasuke walking by, holding that girl’s hand. Naruto watched, as they continued to walk hand-in-hand, silently past the store windows.

Kiba bent down to pick up the drink Naruto had dropped and shook his shoulder.

“Naruto? What’s the matter man?”

Naruto shook his head.
“Nothing, nothing. My bad.”

Naruto gave a fake smile, bought his drink and walked out of the store.

The punk side of Naruto's mind [which he named, Jimmy]…(& he said Sasuke had split personalities, HAH!) asked;

‘Are they…….are they together?’

He wanted to stay in as great a mood as possible before he got there, so Naruto tried to force that, damn Shaqueesha down, but she reared her ugly head.

'UH-AHH! TWO CAN PLAY DAT GAME, MOTHA FUCKA!'

Naruto reached down and snatched Kiba's hand in his.
Kiba looked down startled then smirked.

"Getting a little rough I see? I like it!"

They continued to walk, until they arrived at Sai’s house and invited themselves in.
When they entered, there was a group of people mingling and talking in the living and dining room. They were greeted by a few people, but Naruto didn’t care about them, he was only looking at one person.

‘……….Sasuke.’

Sasuke and Naruto locked gazes and Sasuke casually turned away, talking to Haku.

Sai and Sakura entered the living room and asked for every one’s attention.

“Okay, I know you guys are wondering how we are all going to eat in this little dining room, but we’re not. I have hired a couple limousines to pick us all up and take us to a restaurant in town. Are you all okay with that?"

People nodded and voiced their approval.

"Okay, good. Now if you all would go ahead and head out to the limos, that would be greatly appreciated.” Sakura said.

Everyone rushed out, excited to be driven in limos, and into their rides, leaving;
Sai, Sakura, Neji, Shikamaru, Naruto, Kiba, Sasuke and Haku.

Neji looked at the group eyeing his boyfriend and spoke up.

“I know I’ve talked a lot about him and you guys have never seen but, this is my boyfriend, Nara Shikamaru.”

Shika nodded and spoke lazily.

“Nice to meet you all.”

Every one nodded at his introduction, before Sakura spoke.

“Kiba, Naruto we know you guys, but how about your friend Sasuke?”

Sasuke didn’t want to say Haku was his boy friend, but he didn’t want Naruto to know that they weren't together either so, either way he was screwed.

Luckily, Haku spoke up.

“Hi, everyone! I’m Haku, nice to meet you all.” Haku said with a warming smile and a quick wave.

Everyone nodded and smiled, except for Naruto, who was practically steaming out of his ears and turned to walk away, to choose a limo, and Kiba who was……….speechless?

When everyone had left the house and walked down the driveway, getting into limo’s, Kiba approached Haku, a tad bit more nervous than usual.

“Hi, umm, what’s up?”

Haku turned and admired.

‘Finally, my type.' Haku thought.

“Hi!” Haku said cheerfully.

“So…. you and Sasuke together?” Kiba asked hesitantly.

“Ehh…..not quite, you and, Naruto, was it, together?”

“Nahh, that’s my buddy, nothing more, nothing less. But I don’t think he wants Sasuke to know that, so…”

“Yeah same.”

“Good….so, if you won’t tell, I won’t tell.” Kiba said with a grin, baring his jagged K-9’s.

“Fair.” Haku said with a flirtatious smirk.

“They’d probably get mad if they saw us together, so, maybe we can talk later?”

'Damn straight.' “Sure will.”

Haku winked and walked to the limo, in front of the one Kiba was walking towards. Kiba got in the limo and thought;

‘She’s hot’

Naruto sat silently, through the whole 45 minute limo ride, to the restaurant. He was so upset; nothing was going the way he had planned.


When they arrived at the restaurant, everyone was escorted to a reserved area in the back, where everyone took their seats. At the biggest table, sat the more important people; Sai and Sakura, their friends and their dates. There were eight chairs at the table, on one side was; Haku, Sasuke, Sai and then Sakura, in that order. On the opposite side was; Kiba, Naruto, Neji then Shika. So that Kiba sat across from Haku, Sasuke from Naruto, Sai from Neji and Sakura from Shika. Naruto tried his hardest not to make eye contact with Sasuke the whole time, so when the food arrived he looked at his plate, like it was the most interesting thing he'd ever seen. Kiba nudged Naruto in the ribs, to suggest talking to Sasuke, but Kiba didn’t know he was ticklish there and Naruto jumped squealing;

“Kibbaaa, Staawwpp!”

To others, it would have sounded like they were lovers and messing around under the table or something. Sasuke looked up at the outburst and rolled his eyes.

'*sigh* Better play my part…..' Haku thought.

Haku slid his hand over Sasuke’s on the table and smiled warmly at him.
When Kiba saw that, he gave Haku a confused look and Haku brushed it off, as no big deal, and gave a subtle head nod toward the bathroom.

“Sasuke, I’m going to go to the restroom, kay?” Haku said.

Sasuke, deep in thought, looked up at the standing Haku and nodded.

“Excuse me, everyone.” Haku said softly, starting to walk away from the table and looked back at Kiba smirking.

In less than two minutes, Kiba was excusing himself from the table also.
When he walked out of the dining area, he spotted Haku in front of the men’s restroom and looked confused.

“Okay, I asked you out here to let you know straight up, I’m not a girl.”

Kiba’s eyes winded.

“Yeah, so, sorry if you were interested an-“

“I’m still interested, and Damn! You’re one beautiful dude!”

Haku smiled.

“Thanks, I’m interested in you as well, but , that’s not the only reason I wanted to talk to you, I don’t like being caught up in the middle of someone else's drama, so we have to get Sasuke and Naruto, back….together.”

Kiba nodded.

“I’ll see what I can do.”

“We can do.”

Kiba took out his cell phone, to give Haku his number and Haku took out his own cell phone to put Kiba’s number in it.

“Alright, let me go back first.” Haku said.

Kiba grabbed Haku by the shoulders and kissed him, hard. Kiba let go and pulled back waiting for a slap or a kick to the nuts, but he was shocked to feel soft lips on his own for another chaste kiss.
Haku stepped back and stared at Kiba.

“I like you.” Haku said, like he was completely positive, that he liked no one better.

“I like you too.” Kiba said.

With that, Haku walked back to where everyone was seated and took his seat next to Sasuke.
Kiba followed, not too long after, to finish his meal, stealing glances at Haku.
After every one was about done, they had the tables cleared so people could have comfortable conversations without having to move plates and cups out of the way.
Kiba caught everyone’s eyes at the table, except for Naruto’s and Sasuke’s and signaled for everyone to leave the two alone at the table. It took a while but everyone cooperated.

The seating arrangement shifted to where, Kiba and Haku were sitting together in a far corner, carrying on a conversation, Sai, Sakura, Neji and Shika were standing by the door talking, and Sasuke and Naruto sat in their chairs, still at the table looking like two kindergartners, that got their toys taken away.
A few minutes went by, before Naruto spoke.

“Sasuke.”

Sasuke looked up at Naruto.

“Sasuke….I’m sorry. I got way carried away, I don't want us to be like this. I guess, since we made each other our best friends, I got a little overprotective of you, and when I saw that girl….I just, I don’t know…Best friends shouldn’t be acting like this, so, I’m offering you my apology.” Naruto gave himself ten points for responsible respectful tact.

Sasuke grinned.

“Apology accepted, I also apologize, for losing it in the apartment parking lot.”

Naruto smiled.

“Apology accepted!...Best friends?” Naruto asked jokingly, in an overly girly voice.

Sasuke nodded.
Naruto stood, walked around the table and hugged Sasuke, unaware of all the eyes that lay upon them.
Naruto took a seat next to Sasuke and smiled again.

“I’m so happy were cool again. I never thought I’d say it, but I missed you…. A lot.”

Sasuke felt his heart leap at Naruto's confession.

“It was only a day, dobe.....but, I missed you too.”

Sasuke remembered something.

“Oh.” Sasuke said reaching under his collar, to pull off one of the necklaces.

“Here, I was shocked to find them in the bag, but I like them.” Sasuke handed it to Naruto, but he didn’t accept.

Sasuke looked confused.

“Put it on me.” Naruto said grinning and Sasuke complied.

Naruto looked down at it.

“It looks fabulous!”

Sasuke nodded and glanced over at Kiba.

“Soo…are you and Kiba…” Sasuke trailed off.

“Nahh….he’s my buddy, nothing more, nothing less. How about you and that "girl"?”
Sasuke was about to ask more questions about what he'd witnessed yesterday, but the question Naruto asked confused him too much to care at the moment.

“What girl?”

“That one over there, talking to Kiba.” Naruto said pointing in the direction of where Kiba and Haku were sitting.

“Haku?”

Naruto nodded.
“Yeah, her.”
Naruto's eyes unknowingly, narrowed.

“Haku’s a boy.”

Naruto's eyes re-widened double time and looked surprised.
“No way! Soo…. you’re gay then?”

Sasuke mentaly shook his head at Naruto, totally missing the point, but nodded.
“……Yes, but I’m not dating him.”

“So then, you’re still single?”

“Yeaaaaap…” Sasuke breathed out heavily looking around.

' YESSS!' Naruto mentally cheered.


"Well, mission accomplished, let's all go home." Sakura said to Sai.
Sai nodded looking at his watch.

11: 46 p.m.

Sai got everyone’s attention again, informing everyone that the limos were ready to take them back home. Everyone filed out of the restaurant paying and getting into the limos.
Sai stopped Naruto and Sasuke.

“Hey you guys look tired. I’ll tell the limo driver to drop you guys off at the apartment, okay?”

“Thanks, I slept all day but I’m still, so tired.” Naruto said.

Kiba over heard Sai and went to tell Haku.

“Hey uhh, Naruto and Sasuke are getting a ride to their apartments, so we have to ride in the other-“

Haku cut him off.
“I live where they live. You could…”

Kiba raised an eyebrow.
Haku walked closer to Kiba, leaned up and licked his bottom lip.

“Hey guys! Hold that limo!” Kiba yelled grabbing Haku’s arm, pulling him into the limo.

As they rode, Naruto leaned his head on Sasuke’s shoulder, drifting in and out of sleep when he noticed-
Naruto smiled at Kiba and Haku, holding hands leaning on each other.

“Got lucky ehh?” Naruto said quietly.

Kiba looked at Naruto, then at Sasuke, then back at Naruto again.

“You too.”

Sasuke looked down in time, to see Naruto blush.

‘He blushed?.........looking at him just makes me want to smile.’

The rest of the ride was rode in comfortable silence. Naruto looked around the limo, fascinated and noticed that there was a sign above the door, on the side across from him, that said; And ask yourself, have you ever been happier?

Naruto answered in his mind.

‘Nothing’s ever made me happier than I am right now with you.’ Naruto thought to Sasuke, drifting off to sleep.


About thirty minutes later, Sasuke was trying to shake Naruto awake.

”Naruto….*shake*……Naruto, wake up, we’re here.”

Nothing.

Sasuke shoveled Naruto out of the limo, bridal style, into his arms and carried him to the elevator, to go upstairs.
When he reached the third floor, he wondered if he should dig around in Naruto's pockets to find his keys and put him to bed in his own house, or…
Sasuke reached in his pocket and sloppily pulled out his keys to unlock the door, with Naruto still in his arms. He kicked the door shut, carried Naruto to his bed and laid him down gently.

Naruto stirred.

‘.....…Of course ..........when I’m gentle he wakes up.’ Sasuke thought.

Sasuke walked into his bathroom to take a shower; just to come out minutes later, wearing oversized, black and gray, silk pajama pants and no shirt. Sasuke sat down and logged on his computer, to check his e-mail, before turning around and watching Naruto sleep.
Naruto rolled over....... and kept rolling, until he rolled off the bed and laid there.
Sasuke walked around to the other side and stared down at him shaking his head.

“Idiot.”

Naruto lifted his upper body to a sitting position and looked around dumbly.

“Where are we?” Naruto said sleepily wiping his eyes.

“My hou-apartment.” Sasuke corrected himself.

“Why?” Naruto asked cutely.

“Because your lazy ass wouldn’t wake up, after I tried in the car, so I brought you here, would you have rather me left you outside your door?”

Naruto looked up at Sasuke and shook his head 'No' and sat for a while thinking.

“C-can I stay?” Naruto asked hopefully.
Sasuke paused then nodded.
Naruto looked at Sasuke’s pajama pants.

“Then, gimmi’ some nighty pants.”

Sasuke looked at Naruto with a raised brow.

“Get used to it.”

Sasuke turned around and opened a drawer, to pull out a similar pair of "nighty" pants to his own, to lend Naruto.
Naruto pulled off his clothes, save for his boxers, and put on his nighties.
This time, Sasuke didn't turn away like a little virgin and watched him.

“Are we sleeping together? Or do you not want a repeat of last time?”

Naruto grinned.
Sasuke patted the bed firmly and looked at Naruto.
Naruto gave a small smile and half nod, quickly climbing up into the big fluffy bed, waiting for Sasuke.

After cutting the lamp off in the corner, Sasuke climbed in, after Naruto.
They lay silently, before;

“Y’know I couldn’t sleep yesterday?” Naruto said, more like a statement than a question.

“Why not?”

“I guess, it was because of you.”

Sasuke’s heart jumped.
“Me?”

“Yeah…..it’s like, I couldn’t sleep without you…next to me.” Naruto admitted.

“You either?” Sasuke asked.

“You couldn’t sleep?” Naruto asked excited.

“Nope.”

Naruto smiled.
“I’m glad.”

Sasuke smiled into the darkness.

Naruto rolled over, facing Sasuke and stared at him, with the aid of the moonlight.
When Sasuke did the same Naruto admired his flawless face more clearly.

“You are… so beautiful…” Naruto said in a whisper looking Sasuke dead in his eyes.
Sasuke smiled again and reached his arms out, to bring Naruto into a close embrace, while Naruto did the same and slipped his leg in-between Sasuke’s. Sasuke leaned forward and kissed Naruto softly on the lips.

"Good night, dobe."

"G'night teme."

They lay like that comfortably, until they both fell asleep in each others arms happily.
