I like to watch him sleep

 Sai studied his two companions as they quickly traveled through the trees. They were traveling… closer than they needed to be.

Actually, upon closer scrutiny, the distance between the two seemed to keep changing. One would move closer and then farther apart, followed by the other doing the same thing. Sometimes they would both continue to move closer by small degrees, seeming to refuse to give way until they almost seemed to be competing for the same tree to land on or push off of.

Sai would have said they were fighting except they both had these secretive little smiles on their faces as they looked straight ahead.

Sai gave himself a mental shake. He already knew Naruto was unpredictable but now it seemed to be transferring to Sasuke. Sai would have to watch carefully to make sure that he didn’t start doing weird things too. Because their little ‘dance’ among the trees definitely fell under the heading of weird.

 

A/N Ok don't kill me. I know it's short and I know it's not the part you wanted. Actually I couldn't resist and I've already started writing the part with Naruto and Sasuke getting together.
