Ok here’s the next chapter and thank you for the reviews! My apologies if I offended my readers when I said ‘perverts like me’ at the beginning of chapter 7, I was only joking I didn’t mean to upset anyone. Also sorry for the ‘against’ misspelling I should have caught that *slaps head* and on a final note I apologize if I rushed the story a bit but don’t worry I’m good at making up for time lost. Thank you for the feedback and opinions it makes me a better writer and I hope you all enjoy this next chapter.

“OH MY GOD!”

Lee’s and Gaara’s eyes snapped open at being awaken so rudely by a loud obnoxious voice from the door way.

“GAARA YOU SCORED!” Naruto charged into the room and put out his hand to give the disoriented redhead a high five.

Lee fell off the bed in the process of trying to cover himself up taking the blanket with him as he went, Gaara tried to catch the poor traumatized teen but with no such luck. Naruto slapped Gaara on the back and cheering his congratulations completely oblivious to Lee’s horror and Gaara’s now very bare figure.

“Na…Naruto-kun!” Lee stuttered mimicking Hinata perfectly. “Please….” Lee grabbed the blankets and wrapped them about his waist as he stood up.

“Fuzzy eye brows I didn’t think you had it in you!” Naruto turned on the green nin who was trying to back away from the blond in embarrassment. “So was he good?” Naruto asked winking at poor Lee.

Suddenly the blond had a large tendril of sand wrapped around his waist lifting him threateningly in the air.

“He he he I see he did bondage-“But before the fox nin could complete his sentence he was thrown out the door roughly and the door slammed and locked in his face.

Lee looked shocked at all that had just transpired and to add to his mortification he heard Sakura out side the door talking with Naruto.

“Oy Sakura-chan Gaara and Lee are a ‘couple’ now!” Naruto’s voice floated loadly in through the closed door.

Lee gave a moan of further embarrassment as Naruto filled her in on what he had just seen.

“NANI????!!!!” Then the door was broken in, it crashed to the opposite wall before falling pathetically to the ground with a *thud*.

Sakura stomped in the room followed by Naruto who was now telling her about his theory on Gaara’s bondage methods.

“Lee-kun! Why? I thought that you…” Sakura let her eyes travel from stuttering Lee to Gaara, blushing when she found the Kazekage wasn’t wearing any clothes as well as the only thing that separated her vision from Lee’s ‘pride’ was a blanket.

“Gaara you fox!” Naruto was once again trying to get the ‘details’ of the night‘s happenings and the more the two intruders talked and asked questions the angrier the Kazekage was becoming.

“Leave.” Gaara set his eyes to ice as he spoke the word deadly and with complete seriousness, locking his fierce gaze to both nin’s burning through to their very souls.

“Oh ho! Gaara wants another round! Hurry Sakura-chan lets not interrupt!” Naruto not even fazed by the cold Kazekage, pushed Sakura out the door laughing giddily as he went.

As the voices faded from hearing capacity Lee shrunk down to his knees shaking his head, his whole body had turned a flavorful shade of pink.

“Someone kill me…” He said miserably.

“Naruto is probably off to tell the village.” Gaara said indifferently but on the inside he was quite happy at the blond bursting in on them, now he wouldn’t have to announce their union Naruto would do the by himself.

“What will Gai sensei think?” Lee said it more to himself then to Gaara but the redhead had still heard it as clear as day.

‘He’ll back off’ Gaara thought to himself maliciously. He bent over and picked up Lee’s pants and boxers from the night before, he walked over to the leaf nin and handed the articles of clothing to him.

“Thank you Gaara.” Lee took the clothing gratefully and smiled up at his lover.

Gaara turned his back on Lee as he pulled on his own clothing.

“Do you….regret… it?” Gaara asked quietly without turning around.

Lee stopped dressing and turned to Gaara in shock at what he was implying.

“Do you hate me?” Gaara kept his eyes glued downward like a kid who was being scolded by their angry parent. Gaara jerked slightly when a pair or arms wrapped around his waist gently.

“No Gaara I don’t hate you, I could never hate you. I’m glad.” He gently placed his forehead on the back of Gaara’s shoulder. “I’m so glad.”

Gaara placed his hands shakily on Lee’s hands that were about his waist and actually smiled a little.

“Thank you.” Gaara said quietly and leaned back into Lee’s embrace feeling his heart filled again with such a simple gesture.

6 hour later – 4pm


“So are you going to go Lee-kun?” Ten ten finished.

“Huh?” Lee looked up from his bowl of ramen quizzically.

“Did you hear anything I just said?” She asked exasperatedly.

“No….I’m sorry Ten ten I’m kind of… out of it today.” Lee looked down into the soup that he hadn’t even touched…his mind was indeed on someone else and he found that concentration was simply ungraspable through out that day.

2 hours prior.

After more tests and examinations he finally had been released from the hospital that morning and Gaara had been there with him. It was another dreary snowy day, mushroom like clouds with murky undersides blotted out the sky completely. The snow was coming down in fat flakes tumbling clumsily to the already deep white blanket that covered Konoha. Someone must’ve been burning wood in their fire place near by because there was a faint hint of burning pine in the air. There was absolutely no sound, it was a dream like world if one were to stop completely and just look around and listen.

“I’m not going to be able to return to the Suna any time soon.” Gaara said stoically looking up at the sky, frowning as a few snow flakes tumbled on his nose.

Gaara was unused to this kind of weather conditions and the cold was affecting him a bit more then he thought it would. He crossed his arms in front of is chest and looked to the side at Lee, who had his mouth open trying to catch a few snow flakes in his mouth. Eventually he started laughing, sending puffs of white mist in font of his mouth and the snow flakes tumbled away from the sudden gust of wind. Lee looked over at Gaara and smiled goofily.

“I’m happy you’ll be staying longer. I wish you could stay here permanently.” Lee blushed as he realized what he had said and Gaara continued to look at him thoughtfully.

“Lee heads up!” A snow ball came whizzing into the side of Lee’s head making him fall onto the ground in a heap.

“Oh my god I’m sorry I thought you would’ve dodged that!” Ten ten ran over sending snow spraying out from under her feet.

Gaara knelt down and helped Lee to his feet before turning to Ten ten with an angry look in his teal eyes.

“He was just released from the hospital.” He gave a brooding look at the poor girl who shrunk back a bit at the intimidating glare.

“I..I’m sorry I didn’t realize...” Ten ten looked at Lee with worry, scanning him over with a critical eye. Other then the small pink spot on his temple where the snowball had connected he appeared to be just fine.

“It’s ok Gaara I’m fine.” He then turned to Ten ten and smiled warmly. “What’s up?”

“Nothing I was just out for a walk and saw you two…plus I wanted to see if what Naruto said was true…” She looked at the two and noted the way Lee held Gaara’s arm and how Gaara appeared upset that she had thrown the snow ball at the green nin.

“Ohhh no!” Lee slapped his head blushing. “What all did he say?”

“Something about Gaara scoring and you and he being the hottest new couple.” Ten ten giggled seeing how her companion was reacting in such an animated way.

Lee groaned and fell back into the snow; Gaara looked down at Lee with slight amusement.

“I think you two make a great couple!” Ten ten said enthusiastically and pulled Lee to his feet.

“You’re not…freaked out?” Lee asked taking Ten ten’s hand as she pulled.

“Not at all I think it’s romantic!” She did a dramatic pose. “First enemies… then lovers!” She said dramatically clasping her hands together with a starry look in her eyes.

“Ten ten!!” Lee cried.

“What?” She looked back at him innocently. “Oh by the way I need to talk to you Lee.” She stopped and looked at Gaara.

“Ok umm Gaara I’ll see you tonight ne?” Lee started to walk away but stopped and turned back to give the redhead a small kiss on the cheek before continuing on his way with Ten ten.

Present time again

“I was telling you about the winter feasible.” Ten ten said exasperatedly.

“Oh yeah when is that?” Lee asked looking up at his friend taking a sip of green tea.

“In 5 days. Are you going to help set up?” Ten ten took another big mouthful of the soup’s noodles.

“Sure that would be really fun!” Lee smiled at the thought of the beautiful decorations and fireworks.

“You should have Gaara come.” Ten ten said leaning back in her chair contently from the meal.

“Yeah…if he wants to that is.” Lee replied taking another sip of his tea and looked out the window noting how the conditions from earlier hadn’t changed.

‘I wonder how long he’s going to stay here…’ Lee continued to gaze out the window frowning at the thought of Gaara leaving…that thought scared the hell out of him.

‘When he leaves will stop caring about me…..?’ He shook his head and tried to forget about the dreary thought but it wouldn’t leave his mind and the more he thought about it the more he realized how possible it was…
