Shinobi Can Be So Dense

This is the last bit for the main part of this story. I have one more chapter that tortures Kakashi a little bit then I'm starting a the sequel. The sequel will be sporadic with updates since I'm having a hard time finding time to write. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

“They smelled you on me. Now they want to have a talk with you.”

I was puzzled as to who he was talking about. “Who Kashi?” He looked so guilty. His eyes were downcast as if he had been scolded all day while I was a work. “My... ninken. I haven’t heard the end of it all day. They popped in this morning after you left and they have been hounding me ever since. They’re a bit overprotective over me when it comes to my heart. They still attack Genma for taking advantage of me.” I thought for a moment of sicking a pack of ninken on a meat covered Genma. I had to suppress the laughter that threatened to bubble from me.

“It shouldn’t be a problem love. All they have to do is talk to me for a few minutes and they’ll see I’m completely in love with you. They’ll also see that I would die if anyone tried to take you from me.” I leaned in to give him a chaste kiss on his masked lips. Now was not the time for either of us to get aroused. “Okay, I warn you they will give you hell.” He looks so adorable when he nervously rubs the back of his neck and trough his hair. He opened the door and we entered his apartment.

In the living room were his ninken. They were all sitting on the couch except for an enormous bull dog which sat next to the sofa. Kakashi sank into one of the living room’s chairs, the one furthest from his ninken. He looked as if he was trying to hide from them. “Sit!” The only ninken of Kakashi’s that I knew, Pakun, said to me like I was some disobedient puppy. I took a seat in the remaining chair that just so happened to be in front of the ninken.

“Since you and the pup decided to... mate we need to have a little talk. We need to know your intentions. We won’t have you hurting the pup. He’s had enough hurt to last ten life times.” Wow, it’s kinda weird getting the overprotective father speech from a dog. I knew I had to choose my words carefully around them. They were glaring at me like a small prey animal.

“I love Kakashi with all my soul. Before I had him in my life I was so hollow and lonely. Kakashi is the only person I have ever really loved. I give everything I have mind, body and soul to him. I do this because of the deep love and trust I have in him. Since I trust him I gave my body to him. This act in of itself was hard on me since I too have been hurt deeply when it comes to love and sex. I would never hurt Kakashi intentionally. I love him to much to do that.”

They looked at me with pierced stares. They formed a huddle and began to talk amongst themselves. I knew they were talking about what I had just told them. Kakashi looked like a child punished to sit in a corner. His face was so twisted with emotion. I smiled to him in an attempt to cheer him up from his remorse mood. Every once and a while a head pops out of the huddle to look at me again. I didn’t care to much about what they were doing I had to cheer the man I love up. He finally smiled back at me. It was strained but still a smile. The huddle broke up and they all stared at me again.

“We can tell you were being honest in everything you told us. You can't lie to an animal we can feel your heartbeat, smell your scent change and know when you lie. Since you are a honest man and seem to have the pup’s best interest at heart we will approve of your continuing to see the pup.” Kakashi lit up. I gave them one of my warmest smiles. I truly was happy that they did approve of me. “First though we do need to meet with any summons you might have.” I gulped and I know I turned pale. My summons was not very nice or obedient. She never listened when I summoned her. This is one time I truly felt cursed to have such a summons. I hadn't called on her it seems almost like forever.

“Okay.” I bit my thumb to draw my blood and made the seals to call my summons forward. I prayed to Kami that she would actually come this time. Kuroike actually did appear in a cloud of smoke a moment latter. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. “Hey squirt why the hell are you summoning me in a place that reeks of dog?” She growled as she talked and growled louder when she actually saw the dogs. Kuroike was a large black cat with white tipped paws. She was as large as a coyote.

“You summon cats?” Pakun looked at her and me with a look that was a mix of pissed and startled. “Not cats. Just her.” Cat summons are notoriously bad mannered, disobedient, and generally not nice to their masters. “Kuroike, I do have a name squirt and I expect you to use it. Now why am I here and why am I surrounded by all these mutts?” I could hear several snorts of indignation from Kakashi’s pack at her statement.

“My boyfriend’s ninken wanted to meet my summons.” She out an annoyed growl and started cleaning her paws, purposely displaying her sharp claws as she did so. She clearly wanted all to know she was not to be messed with. “What do you mutts want to know about the squirt, cause there is no other reason you would want to see me unless you wanted dirt on the squirt?” I hated that she always called me squirt. She has done that since the day she met me. It’s her play on my name meaning dolphin.

Pakun looked at her and then to me. “Is she always like that?” He spoke in sympathy to me. I palmed my face and nodded the affirmative. My summons really did love to embarrass me. Kakashi looks amused. I think he is glad that he is not the only one with embarrassing summons. Kuroike haughtily walked over to the pack and they formed another huddle. I was concerned when I started hearing fits of laughter coming from the huddle. They continued talking for a while. During that whole time I was the one that was tense not Kakashi. What if Kuroike said something that ruined my chances with Kakashi because she offended the pack. What if she told them something completely embarrassing and it got back to Kakashi? What if she told them I slept with a plush dolphin till I was fourteen? I have to stop thinking about what she might be saying. She lives to embarrass me.

The huddle broke and Kuroike ambled over to me. “For mutts they are okay. I approve of your mate... for now.” Just as she finished speaking she took one of her deadly paws and swiped across my ankle causing me to shout in pain. Her claws felt like hot irons every time she would cut someone with them. I had be on the receiving end on those claws many times before but it still hurt like hell. “That was for calling me up for this trivial bullshit.” She left with a cloud of smoke.

“How did you end up with such a vindictive summons.” I reached down to tend to my bleeding ankle. “That would be because of my Jounin sensei. She thought it would be funny to get me a summons that was more annoying and troublesome than me.” Damn sensei and her cruel sense of humor. “Well, squirt.” Damn now they’re going to call me squirt too. “You know me but let me introduce you to my brothers. The big guy is Bull.” The massive bull dog stood up a looked at me. “The grinning one with white and gray fur there is Uushi.” He looked at me and wagged his tail. “The one with the black crest on his head is Shiba.” He looked at me wagged his tail and drooled. “The one with the droopy eyes is Bisuke.” He looked up at me and then laid back down. “The one with the sunglasses is Akino.” He stood walked over to me looked me over and went to sit back down. “The one with the bandages is Uhei.” He started wagging his tail and looked excited. “The little one with the hitea around his forehead in Guruko.” He walked up to me and sniffed me before sitting down again.

“We’ll leave you two be now that we know he can be trusted.” They walked down the hall to the second bedroom. “At least the pup found himself a cute one.” Guruko said as they walked through the door. I turned red and started rubbing at my scar. “That was humiliating.” Kakashi came over and pulled me up out of the chair and into a gripping hug. “You’re telling me. I hate summoning Kuroike. She has never listened to me.” Kakashi pulled me closer and rubbed soothing circles around my back. “I’m glad the pack approves of you.” He pulled my face close to his to whisper in my ear. “We won’t get any privacy here tonight. Lets go back to your place tonight Ruka, love.”

I grabbed a hold of the takeout I had brought in with me and Kakashi teleported us straight into my living room. I went into the kitchen and put the takeout into the microwave to reheat it. I brought the food out to find Kakashi waiting for me at my dinner table. I handed him the takeout container I had got for him. We ate our food in comfortable silence since we were both hungry. When we finished Kakashi helped me clean up and we retired to my living room.

“That was a humiliating experience and I’m the one that had to give Naruto the sex talk.” Kakashi Burst out laughing. “At least you didn’t have to tell Sasuke. I thought that boy would never stop being sick.” I laughed I had to find out more about this. “How on earth did you make him sick with the sex talk? All Naruto did was try to hide from me and stick his fingers in his ears to try and tune me out. He never got physically ill.” Kakashi looked amused like he just told a joke that I didn’t get. “Sasuke is an emotionally stunted basket case. He got sick at the idea of anything to do with his body or someone else.”

I laughed again this was just too amusing. “It was probably the way you approached the subject matter that made him sick. Your Icha Icha sex talk was most likely too graphic for him to handle.” Kakashi rubbed the back of his head. “You’re probably right. Icha Icha most likely was too advanced for him.” His gaze changed from amused to one that warmed my heart. “I’m glad I have you.” I looked into his eye and felt the love that was there for me. “How about I get out my photo albums and we have a look at them?”

We sat there on my couch looking through my old photo albums. Kakashi thought I had to be one of the cutest kids growing up. I for one didn’t think I was cute. “I’m glad you got to have a happy childhood with parents who really cared if you were happy. My mother died when I was born. My dad raised me the best he could. Which meant he raised me to be a perfect shinobi. As soon as I could walk he had me training. It was all I knew. I did the hard training so he would be proud of me. I made genin at five because of our training and chunin at six. He committed suicide when I was seven. I stopped being anything other than the perfect tool until Obito showed me a different way to live.”

I never knew he had such a horrible childhood. I only wish I could have done something to make his life happier back then. “I’m so sorry you had such a childhood. It must have been really hard on your dad taking care of you on his own. He was a great man but I guess he was a little at a loss when it came to being a single father. Most guys are never that good with kids.” Even my own dad struggled when My mom was away on missions and left with me.

He pulled me onto his lap. “You really are something special. You’re always thinking of others. I love you so much. I may not of had an ideal childhood but when I did have my dad around I really did have some good times.” He snuggled into my neck. He placed little feather light kisses there. While his lips were busy on my neck, his hands traveled down my sides. He caressed my flesh as he moved down to grab my ass cheeks.

Watch yourself though It was too easy to slip you that drug. You need to be more aware of what’s going on around you.” He looks genuinely upset at that. “Thanks for the advice Iruka. I have been getting a bit to comfortable around the village lately. Don’t tell Raidou though please. He would kill me if he knew what happened.”

I let him off the hook I could see true terror in his eyes. “Okay, Genma but please be more careful. I don’t want to have to worry about you. Even though you pissed me off your still one of my closest friends. I worry about you sometimes. Now get out of here cause I need to lock up so I can go home.” He smiled again and walked to the door to leave. “Thanks Iruka, I’ll be careful. Bye.” He left and I gathered my things and locked up the mission room.

Later when I returned home to my apartment Kakashi convinced me to try a new position from the Yaoi Kama Sutra. He loves me the same way.” I stopped to gauge his reaction. He is at least looking at me now. “I know it must be traumatic to walk in on us having sex. At sometime in everyone’s life they will walk in on someone else having sex. At least you didn’t walk in on your parents having sex. I walked in on my parents when I was little and wouldn’t talk to them for a whole week since I was so embarrassed. I don’t want you to do that to me or Kakashi. I forgive you for not knocking on my closed bedroom door. I also forgive you for walking into an intimate moment and ruining the afterglow.”

He has turned red again. He must be thinking about what he saw. I wonder how much he really did see. “Please don’t be embarrassed. What you saw was just a natural expression of my love toward Kakashi. Just please knock from now on.” He took his time analyzing everything I just talked to him about. He is gradually returning to his normal self. I think I put his embarrassment at ease.

“I just can’t believe it. You Iruka sensei, and Kakashi sensei are together and having sex. I’ll remember to knock from now on. I just want to know Iruka sensei, why that perverted bastard? You could do so much better.” I laughed at his defending me. “I love Kakashi and you really can’t help it when you fall in love. You fell for Konaha’s ice prince and I fell for it’s perverted genius. It really just happens that way sometimes. Kakashi does treat me well and shows me just how much he loves me everyday. He does little things just to remind me how special I am to him everyday.”

Naruto got up and gave me a crushing hug. “As long as he treats you well I’ll be okay with the pervert dating you.”I laughed. “Now, what did Sasuke do this time? I know that’s the reason you came here in the first place.” Naruto had his head down and was nervously rubbing his palms together. “The teme startled me. He asked me to move in with him. I said I would think about it and ran away from him. I know I should be happy he feels that way about me but I’m scared we are moving too fast.”

I put on my teacher face. It was the only way I would be able to get him to listen to me after what he just saw a few minutes ago. “Naruto you love Sasuke right?” Naruto nodded in agreement. “You think you’re both moving too fast but if you truly love Sasuke than you should consider how he feels. If he’s ready to take the next step then maybe you should give it a trail run. Don’t move in fully just stay in the same home for a week together and see if it’s something the both of you can handle. Tell him how you feel about what is going on in your relationship.” Naruto cheered up with my advice and was back to his cheerful self.

“Thank you Iruka sensei. That’s a great idea. I’ll talk to the teme about all you told me.” I gave him a hug and sent him on his way. I made my way back to the bedroom where I had left Kakashi stunned when I ran after Naruto. I found him sprawled across the bed no longer stunned but still a bit on edge. “How did he take it?” I knew that question was going to come up as soon as I returned. “He’s fine now that I talked with him. Unfortunately our secret is out. Naruto has a bad habit of blurting out other peoples secrets unintentionally. Everyone should have heard about us within two days.”

I let out an exasperated sigh. Naruto really was the worst when it came to keeping secrets when he was in the safety of the village. In fact too many ninja were getting too comfortable in the safety of the village. I really need to talk to the Hokage about this. It could turn into a major problem. I don’t want good ninja to fall just because they’ve gotten too comfortable in the village.

“If that’s all the time we have we might as well do something so they don’t think we are just screwing each other.” He had me confused again. He does that to me too often. “Ruka love, I want you to move in with me. I have more than enough space for the both of us. I want to wake up every morning I’m here in the village with you in my arms. I want to share my life with you. So how about it?”

I went over to the bed and leapt on top of him. I wrapped my arms around him and squeezed with all my might. He just made me so happy. “That sounds like a marvelous idea Kashi love. I’ll fill out the paperwork in the morning and tell my landlord I’m moving. Your going to pack and move my stuff while I do all that.” He faked a groan but I could tell by the grin on his face he didn’t really mind at all. This is the best thing to happen to me in years. I have a loving boyfriend. He just asked me to move in with him. I could never be any happier than I am right now.
