Gold Hair, Black Heart

Naruto sat, darkly in his corner just peering out over his knees. Images flashed through his mind of how to torture Neji, ranging from stabbing his fingernails into disabling points to draining him of blood until he passes out then letting his bod reover to do it again. There was no mistaking that Naruto was pissed but his train of thought was broken by the sounds of crunching bones and screams. He launches himself to the rail and looked down at Gaara and Lee, seeing Lee's pain and trying to paste Neji's head on him. He tried not to smirk and keep a straight face then looked over Gaara. He could smell Shukaku on him. He was sure Shukaku could smell Kurama too when he was peeking out earlier.
He saw Lee's sensei jump into the way of the oncoming sand. He could tell they were both weakened extremely from the fight, and noticed Gaara clenching hold of his own head. He felt his fatehr lean close and whisper, "Gaara is an ally, do you appriciate his strength?"
Naruto looked back at Orochimaru and then looked back down upon the murderous male. He did appriciate it, but he knew he could win against this holder of shukaku, even without using Kurama's power. He could tell Orochimaru was offset by Naruto not answering so left him alone there to think, possibly the wrong choice as Naruto began to think of how he could use Gaara to his own advantage. He had no thoughts of taking over his father's plan but of ways to accell it, to make it work better. He was startled as he saw Lee raise back up, then of course, who wasn't. His mind retracked, wondering if he could get such a resilient warrior on his side. He decided that from this point on, he was going to start trying to get close to him, perhaps visit him in the hospital. He was beginning to get the hang of how his father looked at things, turning to see Orochimaru giving him a smile like he knew how Naruto was thinking.
"Naruto," He heard a voice inside of him, it was Kurama. "Can you not hear the medical team? They said he cannot fight ever again."
Naruto was stunned but he thought inside himself, speaking to Kurama, "You saw his resilience. They might think he won't be able to but it appears he fights strongly to prove himself as one. There is no way he would give up."
"He is completely torn apart, Naruto. Give up on persuing him," Kurama growled at him, he truely believed the male being taken out was purly worthless by this point.
They both watched the blood drip, Kurama's eyes blending with Naruto's to see. They looked at the mangled arm and leg of Lee's and both judged in their own ways. "It might be severe enough to dampen him," Naruto finally said to Kurama, "But if he had enough drive to stand back up while completely crippled and unconsious then he will be a much stronger nin when he can train again."
Kurama growled at Naruto, prancing in a circle in his mind then curling up to lay down. "Fine," He spoke in a huff, "You will only break him more, Naruto. I warned you."
Naruto remained silent and watching, seeing the sensei's get out of the ring. Even watched Gaara's sand teleport then heard the proctor. His eyes went over to Dosu, shifting to normal. He smirked and said, "You better win this, got it?"
Dosu looked back at Naruto and they were staring into each others eyes. Dosu knew Orochimaru was using him and Zaku as pawns but Naruto was truely rooting for him. Dosu nodded and hopped in, along with Choji from the other side. Naruto watched them carefully, even before the match started. He sensed nervousness from Choji but only a little bit. He heard Ino call Choji a fatty and him get pissed, then Dosu do the same. Naruto shook his head and said, "Oh this will be a joy to watch."
He watched as Choji puffed up and hid his own head inside himself. He smirked a bit and shook his head, it was a smart move but he knew it wouldn't be too smart. He watched the ball of flesh ram into the wall and Dosu attack the second he stopped to spin the other way. He laughed a bit when it happened and as Naruto hopped down to Dosu's side, he spoke happily, "Knew you could take that punk. Anyway I think you over did it."
"Over did it?" Dosu spoke and seemed to chuckle, "I just used common sense. He also tried to but you can tell which was more effective and who knew more."
Naruto laughed as the rest of those advancing hopped down to be told about the final test. He listened close to the Hokage and tilted his head slightly when they were alerted that the final test would not be until a month from then. He listened to the explinations and understood. He waited for them all to be dismissed and go their own ways. He immidiately turned to Dosu and said, "You should go to her."
Dosu nodded and took off to head back to Kin until it was time for finals. Naruto smiled then turned to Gaara before he was about to leave and grabbed his arm, Shukaku not letting Gaara's sand up as he could tell Naruto was not a threat. Gaara turned to Naruto and looked into his eyes. "What do you want?"
Naruto smiled openly to him and said, "I just want to talk, I am sure you didn't expect another demon to show up. Neither of you did."
Gaara stared blankly at him and seemed to be trying not to cringe. Naruto grabbed his throat and pressed him up against the wall. Kunkuro and Temari grabbed Naruto in an attempt to get him off but they couldn't budge him. Gaara shot sand up at him but Kurama used his own Chakra to block it. Gaara managed out, "Let go!"
"No," Naruto spoke to him and said, "I can help you prepare for what is about to come. We are not enemies even if we must face each other."
"How the hell can you help him?" Kunkuro spoke in a rather defensive manner.
"You are choking him! That isn't helping!" Temari yelled at him.
"Oh," Naruto released his grip on Gaara so they would release him. He placed his hand behind his head and scratched his neck, "I am sure that was the worst way I could say I want to help you but, I am not too good dealing with others."
Kunkuro and Temari looked at each other in nearly a cold sweat. They obviously didn't know wether to trust him or not expecially since him and Gaara seemed the same other than Naruto was more powerful, more in control, and a bit more social. Gaara looked him over but felt Shukaku seeming to fear what was inside of Naruto but he did not follow the way Shukaku was pulling and spoke, "I don't need help."
Naruto shook his head and laughed. "You don't know how much help you need. I know you know your demon is there. You can hear it calling to you but you have no control of him. I can help you work together with yours as Kurama and I work together. We just need to find a private area to talk, just the six of us."
Kunkuro sweated, knowing what he meant by six. "You want us to help you two talk to his demon?"
"Well, yeah," Naruto spoked as he turned his head to him, "You protect him like a brother and by that, I think you are such. That would make her a sister. My father helped me with my demon so it is only right that I make sure he has you two to help him with his. Understand?"
Temari smiled a bit and said, "I am willing to help. If it means Gaara gets control over himself."
Naruto nodded then stared down Kunkuro. Kunkuro nodded back before Naruto looked at Gaara for his final say. As Gaara stared back at Naruto, he saw the eyes take on a form closer to Kurama's, he even felt Shukaku freaking out a bit and his own eyes widened as he fought doing so himself. He struggled for an entire minute, enough that they were the last to clear out except for the Hokage silently watching them. Gaara finally nodded, he couldn't take the demon anymore and knew by this point he could use the lessons. Naruto smiled and said, "You both, Kunkuro and Temari, right? Help me take him somewhere. We don't want his demon freaking out and taking control."
They nodded and lead Gaara to follow Naruto, heading off to a private area outside of the leaf a good distance. He looked directly at Gaara and his siblings, standing firm and showing Gaara a place to sit. Gaara looked at the spot Naruto pointed but looked right back up to him, very clear that he wanted to stand. Naruto then looked over to Temari and moved to her. Gaara and Kunkuro both stood, wondering what Naruto was going to do as he eyed her over. He then performed the handsigns for a transformation jutsu, out of the puff of smoke the red fur of Kurama shining out as the tails waved egarly. The three of them looked over the demon in awe as its eyes focused on Gaara. They remained still for a moment as Kurama lowered his head to Gaara and spoke to him directly, "I can tell what Shukaku has done just by knowing him personally. I want you to let him out. Take a nap and allow him to fully take control and take in your body. You will return afterwards, I promise, but I need to beat some sense into him."
Kunkuro and Temari took to a safe distance as Gaara looked back up at the demon. He was definantly sweating out of nervousness as he held his hands up and prepared himself. Instead of what he knew to do, he allowed himself to lay down and fall asleep naturally. Kurama watched the body carefully as did the siblings as there seemed to be no sign of Shukaku willing to come out. Kurama growled quietly, knowing Shukaku knew he was there. Not a single stir happened, not even sleep flinching.
