New Faces
Naruto looked out of his car door window, gazing at the huge iron gates, with the name Konoha high school printed on the wall connecting to the gate’s hinges.
“Naruto, you coming”
He looked up to the passenger’s seat at Sakura, his cousin.
“Hai, Sakura chan, omen…”
“Its okbut but don’t day dream during class. Ne”

“Ok Sakura, Naruto have a nice day….” Mrs. Haruno his auntie looked at him with a smile that told him not to be afraid. Naruto had just moved to Konoha, his parents had gone missing while on a business trip to South Africa. He had moved in with his auntie and uncle when he heard the news, they were apart of his extended family, his immediate family had all passed on, the reason how was but a mystery his parents had always kept. The Mrs. Haruno is Naruto’s mother’s fifth cousin she had decided to leave the Uzumaki clan when she was given the choice.

Naruto got out the car, and walked through the giant gates, he noticed his cousin walking towards a small group of kids underneath a tree basking in its shade. He assumed they were her “group” he tentatively walked over, his eyes trying desperately to stay calm.
“NARUTOOO! CMON WALK FASTER!” sakura called waving her hands as if to show him where to land.
“Ano, gomen nasai sakura chan.”
“Ah, UN Ino, shikamaru, kiba, shino…. Kono kata wa Naruto desu” Sakura introduced him to the crowd all giving him a wave of hello and a bright hi.
“Ehhh, Naruto, Sakura told us that you had once lived in America…. What is it like there??” A girl with light blue eyes gave him and anxious stare, waiting for an answer.
“Uhh well the people there are… fun, there aren’t as many school hours and their language is hard to learn…”
“Ah so de, eigo o hanashimasu ka?”
“Ehhhheehe, eigo o sukoshi hanashimasu…”
“Hmmm, that’s cool.” Naruto stared at everyone a bit then heard the bell ring, when he waved everyone goodbye he gave a sigh of relief. Then at the corner of his eye he could see someone still there, he turned and saw a raven haired boy leaning casually on the tree. With what he supposed was a piece of candy in his mouth.
“Naruto….” He spun arounndinnding Sakura’s pink locks in his face.
“Ano, Sakura Chan…. Who is that person” he said pointing to the boy.
“Oh, that’s Sasuke kun, he is class president and also the top student in this school. And he is also the hottest guy in the wooooorld….” Her eyes went all starry like shining like a star. He waved it off and left her to flirt, he hated it when she flirted around him, and it made him seem gay. He headed towards his first class, Sakura caught up to him in the halls soon after he stepped inside the school. They both had the same classes, just so that he could used to it, the principle said he could change his schedule if he wa to to after he learned his way around the school. When he entered his first class everyone was talking casually waiting for the teacher who was late, he had guessed he was everyday with the way everyone made it look like a daily ritual. He was walking down the rows of open space between the desks until…
“OY, NARUTO DON’T GO….” Naruto felt the trip wire tangle on his shoe, he fell hard face flat, his books scattered.
“ITTAII…” he yelped as he tried to get up.
“SHIKAMARUUUU!! KIBBAAAA!” Sakura said with an evil tone in her throat. Naruto got up and sat he legs folded as he tried to clear his mind of stars. He turned his head to find the raven haired boy he had seen earlier handing him his books, a small grin on his face.
“Uhh, Arigatou” he said and took his books.
“Naruto, daijobu desu ka?”
“Watashi, genki desu”
“Gomen nasai, Naruto that wire was meant for Sasuke…”
“Sasuke… demo, what did he do to you??”
“Oh, nothing just steals all the girls from us…”
“Oh u nimwads, he didn’t steal them from u your jus ugly.” Sakura said this, while helping Naruto to his feet. Then the teacher walked in and everyone took their seats.
Naruto had decided to take a seat next to Sakura, she sat next to Sasuke, and Naruto noticed that he had a ring of girls around him all starry eyed and staring. He could tell he didn’t like it at all, for his face looked annoyed. He turned and saw the teacher; he had brown hair and had an odd scar across his nose, his name Iruka sensei.
“Alright class today we have a new student, Uzumaki Naruto would you please present your self.” Naruto looked up when he heard his name, he felt tingly inside, he stood up and tried to keep his head up but failed and just let his head drop in nervousness.
“Umm, Hi my name is Uzumaki Naruto…”
“Now, Naruto would you please tell us something about yourself?”
“Umm, well I used to live in Tokyo then I had moved to California, and then I moved back to Tokyo and then moved here…”
“Would you like to tell the class about your family…?” As soon as the question was asked he was stunned, his head flashing with images of his mom, dad, and older brother who had died.
“Umm, Iruka sensei...” Sakura had stood up.
“Could I please talk to you for a moment?”
“Yes, Sakura, what is it?”
“Umm I mean in private” Right then Sakura walked up to the front of the class, whispering to Iruka sensei about his current situation. She then took her seat and told Naruto to do the same. The class was all confused and just shrugged it off, soon Iruka called attention to the class and they started off.

“Narutoooo!! Where have you been you weren’t in the cafeteria...?”
“Gomen nasai, Sakura chan I had decided to sit outside today, so…”
“Ah so de, well we’ll all do the same.” She pointed to Ino and friends behind her. They all took a seat under the huge oak tree Naruto had occupied and they all sat around, eating, drinking. Naruto couldn’t help but feel out of place so as soon as he had got the chance he left the group and went to sit under another tree conveniently placed across the courtyard. He sat down, now he felt at peace, he began to eat again silently he sat thinking about his little cartoons in his head like he usually did. Then he tensed when he felt a presence behind him. He immediately turned to find Sasuke, he was staring at him a small grin on his face as if that was his signature mark.
“Your in my spot” He said, voi voice all deep and mysterious.
“Gomen, I didn’t…”
“It’s okay, so you’re the new kid, Uzumaki Naruto ne?”
“Hai, ummm your Sasuke... I’ve heard tons about you…”
“Ah so de, well what have you heard” He said while sitting down next to him.
“Well, my cousin said you’re the hottest guy in the world and also the smartest.” Naruto blushed; he couldn’t believe that he was telling this to a guy.
“Hah, typical.”
“I can tell that the girls fawn over you.”
“Yeah, well typical day of being me…. It sucks.”
“Ehh, I wish all the girls would go after me, they usually just say im the kind off cuteness theta baby has… Not exactly fun to know that a girl thinks im a baby…”
“Yeah well, it’s better than practically being killed by fans all day.”
“Ne...”

“Oy, Sakura isn’t that Naruto with Sasuke?”
“ Ehh, wow I hadn’t noticed he’d left, ehh Sasuke? Nani, he is actually talking to him… that’s odd he never talks….”
“Hey, you know what that means…”

“Well if your cousin becomes friends with Sasuke, he might…. You know… hook one of us up.”
“Yatta that would be perfect, me and Sasuke….”
“Psh, what makes you think that he will hook you up?”
“Well he IS my cousin…”

Uhh, well that’s pretty much the start of it, don’t worry it’ll get better as soon as I get positive feedback o ya and here are all of the translations:
Kono kat Nar Naruto desu= this person is Naruto
Eigo o hanashimasu ka? = do you speak English
Eigo o sukoshi hanashimasu= I speak a little English
Ittai- ouch
Arigatou=thank you
Daijobu desu ka= are you okay
Watashi genki desu= I am fine
Demo= but
Hai= yes
UN= yeah (casual way of saying yes)
