Naruto spun around, his eyes narrowing further as he saw the black-haired ninja walk into his ‘training’ area. He glared at Sasuke, fists clenching as the pale boy walked towards him.

“You know that I’ll always be better than you. The sooner you get that through your thick skull, the better you’ll be.” Sasuke smirked, knowing it would push the blonde’s buttons, but he had no idea the mental state of his teammate at the moment.

Naruto’s eyes blazed red, a growl rising in his throat. He walked up to Sasuke and punched him in the face as hard as he could. Sasuke flew through the air, slamming against a tree and sliding to the ground.

“What the hell was that, you asshole?”

“Why do you get all the love in the world?” Naruto said evenly, but laced with fury.

“What the hell are you talking about, dobe?”

“Why does everyone love you? What did you ever do to deserve everyone’s love?”

“Why do you care?”

“I’m sick of everyone fawning over you! THEY HATE ME!!!” Naruto screamed at the pale ninja, who still sat on the ground, slightly dazed and growing angrier with every word that came out of the blonde’s mouth.

“That’s not my problem.” Sasuke stood up slowly.

“What makes you so much better than me? You haven’t done anything for this village! I’ve given up everything, and I didn’t even get a choice! They all love you and you don’t give a rat’s ass about them! I love this village and all I get is hatred and scorn!” he spat furiously.

“What do you mean, you’ve given up everything? Last time I checked, you didn’t have anything to give!” Sasuke’s voice was rising steadily as he began to edge closer to the blonde ninja. “I lost my whole clan, all because my brother went crazy because all the village, all my father thought about was to do anything to be the best, and to hell with everything else!” He yelled at Naruto.

“Nothing to give? NOTHING TO GIVE???” Naruto screamed. “How about my childhood? My family? I have nothing now because it was taken away from me, all for the good of the village!!! Why do you think they all hate me? I’m the reason why my father isn’t here, why this damn demon lives inside me!!! Naruto ran at Sasuke again, pulling back a fist for another punch. Sasuke crouched down at the last second and swung a leg out, tripping the blonde.
