The Best Thing

Summary: Sequel to A Stray Child. Sasuke and Naruto bring their daughter home and they find out that parenthood is harder than they thought. Orochimaru makes an appearance of course and a new organization called Chiri is after Sasuke and baby Hana.
Warnings: Angst. Language. Yaoi. Bond. Anal. . Lemon. M-Preg. Preg.
NOTE: I am going to make this for the most part a comedy, a few chapters dealing with Chiri will be the most serious.

Chapter One

Naruto woke up with a snort and looked around the hospital room disorientated and shook his head to gain his bearings.
‘Sasuke!’ He thought and turned to the sleeping Uchiha on the bed. Letting a relieved breath out he decided to go stretch his legs. Once he got down the hall to the infant ward all their friends swarmed him.

“Oh my god Naruto!” Sakura gushed. “You and Sasuke have the cutest baby!”
“That’s because she looks like her daddy.” Kiba chuckled.
“Hey!” Naruto glared.
“Well it’s true.” Neiji shrugged and the group continued to chat until Kakashi and the rest of the instructors arrived…also Jiriaya was with them.
“Hey there kiddo!” The toad sage wiggled his eyebrows at the blonde. “Cute baby you have! When she’s older she’s going to be quit a babe!”
Naruto growled and grabbed the old man by the throat.
“If you lay a hand on her or even think about her that way I’m going to beat the shit out of you and leave you to Sasuke!” Naruto threatened.
“I was joking. Naruto I can’t breathe!” Jiriaya turned blue and gasped after he was let go.
“You better be joking you sick fucking pervert!” Naruto yelled.
“Don’t worry Naruto, if he tries anything he has to deal with us.” Ino said and chuckled evilly while cracking her knuckles and the others glared daggers.
“I WON’T DO ANYTHING! SHE JUST A BABY AND I’M NOT SICK!” Jiriaya screamed.
“Okay you guys I think he’s had enough.” Iruka laughed.

Naruto sighed and walked over to the glass where the newborn babies were. Hana was the only one in the small room, and covered in the tightly wrapped blanket.
“Damn Sasuke and his selfish genes.” He smiled at the sleeping bundle and Kakashi put a hand on his shoulder.
“How does fatherhood feel so far?” He asked.
“I don’t know it’s only been 12 hours since she’s been born.” Naruto snorted.
“…I think Sasuke’s attitude is rubbing off.” The older man stated with a shake of the head. “By the way guards are going to be here until you and Sasuke go back home.”
“And why is that?”
“You never know what’s going to happen. A child of the remaining Uchiha line and the vessel of Kyubbi would be worth a lot to some sickos.” Kakashi said and the blonde’s forehead crinkled at the thought.

“Hey! Where the hell are you Naruto!?” A voice rang out…Sasuke. A tired sounding Sasuke and so Naruto hurried to his side.
“I just went to stretch my legs and go to the bathroom, but I got caught by the mob out in the halls.” Naruto said.
“You could have just used my bathroom.” Sasuke said and Naruto sported a sweat drop. He had completely forgot about the private bathroom that was in every hospital room.
“I forgot about it.”
“Uh huh. You just wanted to get away from my lard ass…didn’t you?” Sasuke asked with teary eyes and Naruto was confused.
“No of course not and besides your not fat.” Naruto said and went over to the emotional Uchiha. With a few cooing words and soft loving caresses Sasuke went to sleep again.

“So how is everything going?” Tsunade asked walking in and was shushed.
“He just got back to sleep.” Naruto whispered and motioned to talk in the hall.
Once in the hall Tsunade waited for Naruto to answer her.
“Well I thought everything was going good, but just now Sasuke started crying because he thought I was leaving him because he gained some weight. Or something like that.” The blonde said.
“Well it’s normal for new ‘mothers’ to have postpartum depression, you know because the hormones going back to normal after being changed for 9 months.” Tsunade explained.
“So does that mean he has it all his life then?”
“No idiot. Usually is lasts only a few days to a week or so, but if Sasuke starts acting strange with the baby come get me and get Hana away from him.” She said.
“What he hell do you mean?”
“Some women with the postpartum sometimes kill their babies.” Tsunade said.
“Sasuke would never hurt Hana!” Naruto yelled. “He would probably kill me first before he would ever think of harming her.”
“Oh yeah, that’s really comforting.” Tsunade rolled her eyes.
“He won’t do anything to her, I know him too well. He’ll brood, smack me or the pervy sage around and feel better.” Naruto said.
“Okay I get it, just keep an eye on him.” She said. “You guys get to go home tomorrow.”
With that she left and Naruto went back in the room to finally use the bathroom.
