~Author’s Note~
I wanted to try a new style of writing where I mixed Narrative and Naruto's POV. Didn’t really turn out how I liked so I’m probably going to rewrite it with just one style. This first chapter has nothing heated in it. I didn’t want to put a sex scene in this chapt. because I felt it would ruin the main reason. I might just leave this chapter as is and not write smut for this story. Or I’m writing another Naru/Saku story that I might make as a sequel to this story. I didn’t really know what to do, but I hate it when she cries. She was thinking about him again. Why is everything always about Sasuke!?! But I do cry a lot when thinking about Sasuke too.

‘I promise you Sakura; I’ll make sure that those tears of yours will be wiped away. I’ll bring him home, and then we all can be together again.’
Naruto sighed before looking back up at his friend
Why Sakura, why can’t you let me love you.
He took another step towards Sakura.
Why does it have to be him? I’ll protect you when he wont be there at all. I’ll hold you when he’ll turn his back.
Sakura didn’t realize she was being watched by her teammate, Naruto. She thought she was alone. When things were tough and the kunoichi had time to think about pasts, she often went to the 4th HoKage’s grave to cry and just think. The tears always flowed so easily. Naruto kept slowly walking towards Sakura.
I’ll always love you. I don’t want to make you cry. You don’t deserve this pain, I’ll-
Naruto reached for Sakura’s hand. The kunoichi jumped when she felt a firm hand gently grasp on to her own and pull her around. It was Naruto and he was staring at her with his eyes gloomy and sad. His brow was furrowed and she could see that he felt her pain.
“Sakura,” Naruto pulled his friend into his chest and held on tightly.
His hands were intertwined with in her hair and his own tears were now flowing freely.
“I’ll hold you forever!”

I didn’t really know what to do but, I needed to let her know that I cared about her. Just to hold her and let her know that it would be all okay. Maybe then, just maybe, she’d love me back. But why do I doubt that. I found myself walking towards the, now young woman, I love. I held onto her with all my life, rocking her back and forth and she didn’t seem to mind.
“Oh Sakura, If only-”
I couldn’t finish, how could I tell her. I wanted her so badly my body ached for her. But now wasn’t the time. She seemed to look at me with eyes so desperate for life.
“N-Naruto, Why did he leave us!?!”
“I don’t know. But together we’ll find him.”
My voice was far more sure than I was. But I had to be strong, for the both of us. Her eyes looked up at me with a burning fire.
She nodded, “together, Naruto!”
“Together.”

The next thing Naruto knew was he was leaning down and kissing his dearest friend. Nothing heated just sweat and innocent and Sakura accepted him gladly. Naruto’s lips brushed up against the kunoichi’s cheek. Taking in her scent to never forget, he vowed to himself, he’d always be there to hold her.
Together they would always be strong.
