Sasuke grabbed the little box he held in his hand tighter. He wouldn’t let it go. If he didn’t hold it he only got the feeling that he had dropped it, even though it was safe in his pocket. The dobe would be so happy when he got this. He knew the blonde felt very bad for pawning it in the first place. He had tried to tell him that it wasn’t his fault and that nobody blamed him for it. You have to eat! Well, that wasn’t a problem anymore. Not when he was with Sasuke.

He puffed his big black scarf up to cover more of his face. It was snowing and it was freezing outside. All he wanted was to be under the cover with Naruto keeping him warm while doing certain… activities. The hint he had gotten that morning about what was in his present had put some fairly good ideas in his head. A blush spread over his cheeks as he thought about it. Naruto had looked so… delicious!

‘Something for me to put on… And for you to take off…’ Naruto said that, licked his lips and gave Sasuke the look that said ’I’m feeling so hot and it’s all because of you’. Let’s just say Sasuke had left the apartment very unwillingly and had walked around the majority of the day with a major boner. Lucky him that the other people working in the kitchen were too busy to notice. Or they did notice but were tactful enough to not say anything. Their asses would have been fired if they had. Nobody messed with the chef!

Sasuke sighed. His fantasies would have to wait even longer though. Unfortunately, all their friends were gathering in their apartment tonight. They were there already. It was Christmas after all. Well, not all of them. Some had their own families to go to. But the people who didn’t and the people who were too poor to travel home would. That and Neji.

Why the hell he was coming was beyond Sasuke. Not that he didn’t like Neji. He was the one who had pulled Sasuke into this group of friends after all. But how he had managed to get away from his family was a mystery. And then there was the problem with Sasuke’s possessiveness. That Neji was Naruto’s latest boyfriend before himself, was a bit of a killer to Sasuke’s ego. But then again… Most of the people filling up his and Naruto’s home that night, were ex boyfriends and girlfriends to the blonde. And the ones that were not, had at least slept with him once or twice. Much to Sasuke’s dismay, Naruto had been a former walking trophy! Well, not anymore! He was Sasuke’s now and he wouldn’t let him go without a hell of a fight!

Sasuke frowned. Had everybody really slept with Naruto? Okay, not really… But most of them. Except Sai… Sasuke sped up a little more. Naruto hadn’t slept with Sai, the newcomer of the gang, but that didn’t mean he didn’t want to. And that Sai didn’t want to. Naruto had only lived in open relationships before. Except the one with Neji but that only lasted about two months. Naruto had been with Sasuke for six now. And Sasuke was praying to God that he had been Naruto’s only partner under those six months. He was holding the record. Naruto had never stayed with anybody for that long before. But Naruto would never do that to him. Never… Right? He stayed this long because he loved him. Right?

He rounded the corner and saw his building. He looked up towards his windows and saw people moving around in there and he heard the music playing. The balcony door was slightly ajar. It must be cooking in there. Sasuke sighed. He had already spent the entire day in the kitchen. Wasn’t that enough? Naruto knew he didn’t like to be around people when he had been working, but he had managed to beg Sasuke into submission in this question. Naruto had never lived in an apartment big enough to hold all his friends. The puppy eyes made Sasuke’s will crumble. Sasuke pressed the code and pulled the heavy door open. He took the elevator up. The stairs were much too troublesome.

Wonder if Nara would be there? Or if he was celebrating together with the Sabaku family somewhere? Gaara would be there. That was for sure. He hated spending time with his relatives and loved to spend time with Naruto. Yeah, Gaara would be there. Naruto’s second boyfriend. The first one Naruto ever bottomed for. Sasuke shook his head. He had promised to stop thinking about it. How Naruto had slept with so many people. It didn’t matter. What mattered was now. And now he was Sasuke’s. He pulled up his keys from his pocket when the arrow indicated that he was getting closer to his floor. (add period) When the door opened, he took a deep breath before walking across the hall and shoved the key into the lock. The music was very loud. Were any neighbors at home? He twisted the key and opened the door, walking inside. Sasuke narrowed his eyes and slammed the door shut.

“Naruto!” He hissed, squeezing the box he held in his hand tight. Naruto broke away from the Sai’s lips and blinked confused. The people in their living room became very quiet and looked between the two of them, wondering if another of their fights would ruin the party and the holiday. Wouldn’t be the first time. Honestly, those two should learn to control their feelings. Naruto smiled and pointed upwards.

“Mistletoe, teme.” He grinned and pulled out from the embrace Sai still had on him. Sai merely smiled towards Sasuke before sitting down in the couch next to Sakura who looked a little grumpy when Naruto skipped over to Sasuke and threw his arms around his neck.

“How was your day, baby?” Naruto asked and nuzzled Sasuke’s neck. Sasuke threw Sai another glare, which was completely ignored, before answering.

“It was fine.” He leaned in and kissed Naruto on his mouth quickly.

“What? That’s it?” Naruto pouted.

“Another man just had his tongue down your throat. Don’t expect me to be thrilled about it.”

“We were standing under the mistletoe! And there was no tongue!” He blushed a little when he heard Sai snicker from the couch and shrugged. “Okay, so maybe a little tongue.”

“Brush your teeth and I’ll show you just how much I missed you today.” Sasuke murmured into Naruto’s ear.

“You should shower before I eat you up, teme. You always smell so good when you come home from the restaurant. Always making me hungry.” Naruto purred.

“You just ate!” Sakura intervened from the couch.

“So? And that’s not the only thing I hunger for!” Naruto grinned at her, not letting go of Sasuke.

“Hn.” Sasuke shook Naruto off him and went into their bedroom, closing the door carefully, completely ignoring the rest of the guests in his apartment. Naruto pouted and looked after him.

“What crawled up his ass and died?” Kiba asked and picked up another present from under the Christmas tree, shaking it, trying to figure out what was inside.

“Put that back! Nobody touches the presents until Sasuke is here!” Naruto yelled and pointed accusingly at Kiba.

“He is here!”

“No! He’s in the bedroom! You will have to wait!” Naruto yelled.

“Stop yelling so much.” Neji said irritated from his place in Sasuke‘s favorite chair. He could feel another migraine build up and massaged his temples with his fingertips. Naruto snorted and folded his arms over his chest.

“It’s my house. I yell as much as I want to.” He pouted.

“Naruto!” Somebody wrapped his arms around Naruto’s waist from behind and gave him a hug.

“What, honey?” He grinned and looked over his shoulder at Haku.

“Can I borrow the phone?” He smiled. Naruto’s grin faded.

“Why don’t you use your own?” Haku’s smile didn’t fade, but Naruto saw sadness make its way into Haku’s eyes.

“Because he won’t answer if he sees that it’s me.”

“And he won’t hang up on you when he hears it you?”

“No. He won’t.” Naruto bit his lip and picked the cordless phone from it’s charger.

“Tell him to come over.” He said and gave Haku the phone.

“I don’t think his wife will like that.” Haku smiled sad and started to dial the number, walking away.

“Fucking Zabuza…” Naruto muttered and glanced over to the bedroom door. Sasuke was taking long. He had to leave the bedroom to go to the bathroom across the hall. Why wasn’t he coming out? He walked leaned against the doorpost looking over his friends. He raised a quizzical eyebrow when he saw that Gaara had moved and was now behind Neji in the big chair, his legs on each side of him, massaging the Hyuuga’s scalp. And Neji was enjoying it! Well, would you look at that. Not many people were allowed to touch Neji’s hair. Naruto smirked when Gaara’s eyes locked with his own. He saw the amusement in his friend’s eyes and he saw the tenderness when he looked back to the back to Neji’s head. Well, would you look at that! Somebody was probably getting lucky tonight.
Naruto looked over to the hall again. Where was Sasuke?

“Mistletoe, sweetie!” Ino chirped besides him and held up a twig. Naruto laughed and put a hand on her neck, giving her a kiss that took her breath out of her. She looked a little groggy when he let her go.

“Damn… No wonder Sasuke keeps you. You’ve only gotten better at that stuff.” She laughed and wiped the corner of her mouth discreetly. Naruto laughed, but whipped his head around when he heard a door slam behind him. He frowned and walked down the hall, leaving Ino behind. He looked at the bathroom door to see it unlocked. He opened it and looked inside but it was empty. He closed it again and opened the door to his and Sasuke’s bedroom.

“Sasuke?” He was surprised to see his boyfriend rummaging through his drawers and pulled out a big sweater, the towel thrown in a corner. Naruto’s eyes lingered on the towel. Sasuke was a neat-freak. For him to toss the towel in a corner like that… He looked over to his boyfriend. Sasuke was getting dressed. And he was getting dressed to leave. “Where are you going?”

“I’m leaving.” Sasuke said and got up. Naruto hurried inside and closed the door, leaning against it, making sure Sasuke couldn’t get out.

“Why?”

“Because I’m tired of this.”

“Of what?”

“Of this fucking bohemian bullshit!”

“Bohemian bullshit? What the hell are you talking about?” Naruto frowned.

“Move away from the door.” Sasuke reached forward to the doorknob

“No! Not until you tell me what the hell is your problem!” Naruto grabbed Sasuke’s wrist and pulled it away from the knob.

“You’re my problem!” Sasuke hissed. “You and all your hippie friends out there!”

“My hippie friends?” Naruto laughed. “Why are they hippies?”

“Name one of them out there besides Neji who isn’t a singer, or an artist, or a writer, or a dancer, or a-”

“So I surround myself with talented people! That can’t be the reason why you’re mad.”

“Do you know what I tried to convince myself of when coming back home?”

“No?”

“That you wouldn’t cheat on me.” Naruto’s eyes widened and his mouth fell open.

“I wouldn’t cheat on you! I‘ve never cheated on you!”

“Wish I could believe that, Naruto.” Sasuke growled. “But then you aren’t very convincing when somebody else has his tongue down your throat when I come home!”

“Mistletoe!” Naruto whined and stomped his foot. Sasuke rolled his eyes. Really, Naruto was acting like a baby. “Please, don’t so this, Sasuke. Not now! It’s Christmas and all our friends are here and-”

“Those people are not my friends!” Sasuke hissed.

“Well, they will be happy to hear that.” Naruto said offended.

“Those people are your and Neji’s friends and I’ve put up with them for your sake! But not anymore! When I come back, I want them to be out of my house!”

“Our house!”

“Why pays the bills, dobe?” Sasuke smirked that irritating smirk. The one saying ‘I’m so god damn much better then you, so crawl into the corner and die, but don‘t you dare get my towel messy.‘ Yeah, that smirk. Naruto’s eyes widened if possible even more.

“Oh, that’s rich. That’s fucking rich! I lose my job and then it turns into your house? Fucking rich… Fucking asshole!” Naruto tore the door open and stomped outside. Sasuke followed, but not to run after Naruto. He went to the hall and put on his shoes.

“What’s going on?” Chouji looked out from the kitchen door.

“Apparently we’re not welcome in the teme’s house anymore!” Naruto yelled.

“What?” Kiba looked up from the present he had been shaking. “Why?”

“Because he’s tired of the bohemian bullshit!” Naruto yelled even louder and waved his arms over his head like crazy. “Apparently I’ve been cheating on him just because I kissed Sai under the mistletoe! Apparently Sasuke’s ego can’t handle that there are more people in the word and apparently Sasuke has been taken over by the biggest mother fucking grinch in the world!”

“What else is new?” Neji muttered form his place in the chair again and leaned back against Gaara’s chest who wrapped his arms around his waist and rested his chin on Neji‘s shoulder. Sasuke threw Neji a glare, but ignored the rest of the people looking at him. They did think he was the biggest grinch in the world. He couldn’t care less. The only thing that bothered him right now, was the pain he was feeling in his chest.

“Sasuke, come in here.” Sakura sighed. “Stop being so hotheaded all the time.”

“I’m not hotheaded!”

“You can’t really think that Naruto-kun has cheated on you?” She looked at him as if he was completely stupid. Sasuke answered her question by grabbing his coat and slammed the door shut as he left. Everybody’s eyes turned to Naruto, who glared at the door, hoping it would catch fire.

“Let’s open presents.” He said and sat down next to Kiba by the tree.

“Are you sure that-” Lee started but he was soon cut off.

“Let’s open presents.” Naruto repeated and picked up a neatly wrapped package. “For you, Kibbles.” He smiled and gave Kiba the present. “From Hinata-chan.”

“Really?” Kiba grinned and took the present. “She got me a present?”

“Yeah, and dragged me across the entire city looking for it.” Neji muttered and closed his eyes, as Gaara’s fingers played with a strand of hair.

“Stop muttering all the time, Neji. It’s annoying.” Naruto snapped.

“Just run after him already. You can never resist a confrontation anyway.”

“Fuck you! That is not true!” Naruto glared at Neji who only raised an eyebrow at him. “Fuck!” Naruto hissed, got to his feet and went to the hallway to put on his shoes.

“Naruto!” TenTen, Ino and Sakura hurried after him. “You can’t seriously walk after him when he talked like that to you.” Sakura interjected.

“I have to.” Naruto said and put on his jacket.

“Why? He’s a bastard!” TenTen said and put her hand on her hip.

“I know. But he’s my bastard and I want him back here.” Naruto said annoyed and went outside. He ran down the stairs, taking two steps at a time. Sasuke couldn’t have gotten far. He pushed the front door open and ran out in the snow. He stopped and looked around. Sasuke was standing underneath a streetlight, looking at something he held in his hand. It was a small box. Naruto bit his lip. It was probably his Christmas gift.

“Sasuke!” Naruto yelled. Sasuke looked up at him but didn’t move. “Teme…” Naruto mumbled. Sasuke put the present in his pocket and turned, walking in the other direction.

“Sasuke! Don’t ignore me, bastard!” Naruto yelled. Sasuke kept on walking. Naruto growled and bent down taking up snow in his bare hands. He pressed it together to a snowball and threw it after his beloved bastard. It hit him right in the head. Sasuke stopped. After a few seconds he turned around and raised an eyebrow at Naruto.

“Don’t walk away from me, teme!” Naruto yelled and kicked the snow. What he really wanted, was to kick Sasuke. Preferably in the nuts.

“Did you just throw a snowball at me?” Sasuke asked dangerously and started to walk back towards Naruto.

“Yes! Are you stupid or something?” Naruto huffed. His panting from running down several floors, made soft clouds emit from his mouth.

“Why?” Sasuke was standing in front of him now. Glaring at him. Naruto actually had the nerve to swallow. He didn’t like it when Sasuke looked at him with those eyes.

“Why?” Sasuke repeated through gritted teeth.

“Because you’re an asshole! That’s why! And you were walking away from me when I was talking to you!”

“You were not talking. You were yelling. And I have a tendency to shut my ears off then. Most of the things you say when you yell are really fucking stupid.” Sasuke turned to walk away again but Naruto grabbed his shoulder and spun him around.

“You’re really fucking stupid! How can you be so mad over one little kiss! I kiss my friends all the time! You’ve been fine with it before! Why is it different all of a sudden?”

“That was not a friendly kiss! That was making out!” Sasuke yelled and pointed up towards their windows. “And actually, no! I haven’t been fine with it before but I knew you wouldn’t stop doing it anyway so I didn’t say anything!”

“And you call me an idiot!”

“You are an idiot! You can’t honestly expect me to be okay with that!” Sasuke pointed up towards their apartment once more.

“It was a kiss! Nothing more! Nothing less! That doesn’t give you the right to go insulting me and all our friends!” Naruto crossed his arms over his chest, glaring at his boyfriend.

“Fine! A kiss! A kiss between you and him!”

“What’s wrong with Sai?” Naruto said with a sigh and let his arms fall.

“He wants you! And you want him!”

“That’s ridiculous!”

“It is not! It’s true and you know it is!”

“Why the hell would I want Sai?”

“Besides that he is everything you look after in a guy? Preferably dark hair but always pale skin, an attitude problem and a head that needs fixing!” Sasuke said and put his palm over Naruto’s forehead and pushed his head harshly backwards.

“That’s not all I look for in a guy!” Naruto pushed Sasuke’s chest, making him take a step backwards to steady himself.

“Really? Haku? Gaara? Kimimaro? Sasori? Neji? Me?”

“Your paranoia is getting old, Sasuke-teme.”

“I’m not paranoid! You want him! If you tell me otherwise, you’re lying! I can see it in your eyes because you look at him the way you’re only supposed to look at me!”

“Sasuke-” Naruto sighed and closed his eyes.

“I’m scared! Don’t you get that?” Naruto’s eyes snapped open and he looked up, into Sasuke’s eyes. His eyes widened. Sasuke was scared. He was hiding it but now Naruto could see it. He had admitted it! That he was scared. Fuck… This was scary. Naruto hated that he hadn’t been able to see it before. Shit. This thing took a whole different turn with those words. Sasuke never got scared. And he would never admit that he was. This was beyond their normal fighting. This was way worse. All because one little kiss?

“Why are you scared, Sasuke?” Naruto asked in a low voice, not really being able to look anywhere else but into Sasuke’s eyes. But Sasuke closed them, not bearing to look into the pools of blue when saying what he was going to say.

“Because I think that you will leave me.” Naruto bit his lip and lifted his hand, placing it over Sasuke’s cheek. Sasuke’s breath hitched of the touch but he kept his eyes closed.

“Why would I leave you?”

“Because he’s new. He’s interesting. He’s an artist. He’s gorgeous. He needs somebody to fix him.” Sasuke spat the words out like if taking them into his mouth disgusted him. “And you love to fix people. You’ve fixed them all. You fixed Haku, you fixed Gaara, you fixed Neji… You fixed them all. And now there’s somebody new that needs your love. Who needs you to fix him. And you’re so fucking tempted by it! I know how much you love it when you feel needed. How much it turns you on! How much you crave it!”

“Sasuke…” He felt hot breath fan over his face and cold lips covered his in a sweet kiss. “Sasuke, please look at me…” Sasuke didn’t want to. He didn’t want to see him. It would only hurt so much more when he left. Sasuke wanted to be the one leaving!

“Sasuke, I’m not leaving you…” Naruto said as if he had heard Sasuke’s thoughts.
“Please open your eyes.” Sasuke knew he was going to regret it. He opened his eyes and looked at his beloved blonde. Fuck, Sasuke loved him so much. Too fucking much.

“Naruto…” He breathed when he saw the look in Naruto’s eyes. The determined look only he could have. He was pulled into them and he knew he couldn’t get out. Trying would be futile.

“I need you to listen to me now, teme.” Naruto said, using the insult as a pet name. “And I need you to let me finish before you say anything. And I need you to look at me the whole time. Can you do that for me?” The hand on Sasuke’s cheek shifted a little and a thumb moved lightly across Sasuke’s upper lip. Sasuke nodded, not taking his eyes away from Naruto’s. “Okay.” Naruto said, his expression not faltering a bit. “You’re right. I am attracted to Sai. And yes, I guess it’s from the reasons you’ve just told me. I do want to fix him. And I wanted to kiss him. So when we happened to get under the mistletoe I took my chance and let him kiss me. But that doesn’t mean we’ll kiss again. It doesn’t mean that I will have sex with him. It doesn’t mean that I will leave you. I love you, Sasuke. I love you more than I ever loved any of them. You are my obsession.” Naruto licked his dry lips before he continued. “You’re right. I do crave being needed. And it turns me on. And no one needs me more than you do, Sasuke. ‘Cause you are the most fucked up person I know. You will never stop needing me. Sasuke, you will never stop needing to be fixed.”

Sasuke didn’t say anything. He didn’t know if Naruto was finished. He felt terrible inside and didn’t know how to handle this. He hated serious conversations with Naruto. It was easier to yell and scream, fighting like they had done when they still hated each other. It was easier to both hear and say hurtful things when they were screamed at each other in fury. They didn’t mean as much as they did now. Now when Naruto was looking into his eyes like this.

He would never stop need fixing. He would never stop needing Naruto. It was true. Yes, it was true. Sasuke nodded and Naruto furrowed his eyebrows, confused. Sasuke nodded again and then he broke the eye contact they had. He would always need Naruto. Yes, it was true alright. Couldn’t argue about that one. Even though he wanted to.

“God, I’m so fucked up.” Sasuke laughed, but not really putting any emotion into it.

“Me too…” Naruto smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “We’re fucked up together, you and me. I’ve got a serious urge to kick your ass.”

“You could never kick my ass. Why would it be different now?” The words were out of his mouth before he knew it. He blinked confused and looked at Naruto. Damn, this boy really knew how to fix people! And fix them fast at that. He was already back to playful insults.

“Teme!” Naruto yelled. “I can so kick your ass and now I can kick it even more!” Naruto pounced on Sasuke, making him stagger backwards before encircling his arms around his blonde and regained his balance. He didn’t hesitate a second. He pushed Naruto backwards and practically slammed him into the brick wall. Naruto let out a painful groan which soon was muffled by Sasuke’s lips. He kissed him, sloppy but needy. He pressed Naruto’s back more onto the wall by pressing his own body towards him.

“I want to do something else to your ass than to kick it.” Sasuke murmured.

“Pervert.”

“Tell me your mine.”

“Pervert.”

“Naruto…”

“Pervert.” Sasuke sighed and leaned his forehead against Naruto’s. “Sasuke…”

“Hn?”

“I’m yours. I’m in love with you. You couldn’t get rid of me if you tried.” Naruto laughed a little and pressed his lips to Sasuke’s locks. “I guess you did tonight, didn’t you? In your face, teme!”

“Usuratonkachi…”

“Let’s go upstairs again.” Sasuke groaned and took a step back.

“I don’t want to be with them. Just because you have forgiven me doesn’t mean that they have. And I still don’t like you being around Sai.”

“If you want them out of there, you’re going to have to kick them out. I’m not going to do it.” Naruto crossed his arms over his chest and glared at Sasuke. “Don’t you want to have friends, teme?”

“I’m satisfied with you.” Sasuke looked away, not really wanting to see the big ass grin spreading over Naruto’s face.

“And you call me idiot. You do too want friends! And you want them to be your friends. Please Sasuke! Let’s go back up! I’m freezing my ass off and then you can’t have any fun with it!” Naruto took a hold of his boyfriend's collar and pulled him close again. Sasuke rolled his eyes and gave Naruto a kiss. Yeah, that would be a pity now wouldn’t it? Especially when he had been wanting it all day.

“Come on.” Naruto grabbed his hand and headed for their apartment building. Sasuke took a deep breath and let himself be dragged through the door and into the elevator. He watched the little arrow taking them higher. He raised his arm and looked at his watch. Yeah, about twenty minutes since he last rode it to get to their floor. He gripped Naruto’s hand tighter. Naruto jerked his arm, swinging him around so they were chest to chest, and laid his arms around Sasuke‘s waist. He smiled. Sasuke raised and eyebrow.

“What?”

“Nothing.” Naruto’s smile grew into a grin.

“What is it, dobe?” Sasuke asked suspiciously this time.

“What’s in your pocket?”

“Che!” Sasuke pushed himself away from Naruto’s chest and turned around. “You haven’t earned seeing what’s in my pocket!”

“It’s a Christmas present! Present! As in something you give to somebody else! Not something you earn!”

“You haven’t been nice. You have been naughty.”

“Naughty? You like it when I’m naughty!” Naruto laid his arms around Sasuke’s waist again, this time from behind. He nipped Sasuke’s earlobe. “Am I right?”

“Idiot.”

“Am I right?”

“You still don’t get to see it. You’ve been keeping those people away from their gifts all day. You get yours last.”

“That means they can stay?” Naruto’s tongue trailed down Sasuke’s neck. He lifted a hand and pushed the collar down so he could have better access to Sasuke’s neck. Sasuke tilted his head to the side. He too wanted Naruto to have better access.

“Yeah.” The door pinged and opened, but no one moved. Naruto was busy kissing the pale neck and the pale neck’s owner was busy getting kissed. When the doors were about to close Sasuke shot out a hand to keep them from doing so but neither left the elevator. Naruto sucked hard and Sasuke hissed at the pain. A nice new hickey to go with the others. Naruto licked it soothingly and then let go, gripping Sasuke’s other hand and went to their door. Sasuke took a deep breath and ignored Naruto’s look on him. No more talking. They had done enough talking for the day. Naruto opened the door and they went inside. The chatter in the apartment died down and they were all peeking out to the hall, to see them take of their coats and shoes. Sasuke tensed when Naruto grabbed his hand and pulled him into the living room. Without a word he went up to the tree and picked up a present. It was a bog one. And it rattled. Sasuke’s eyes gleamed for a second before going back to his indifferent one. He always liked it when Naruto gave him presents. He was good at picking out things Sasuke actually liked and wouldn’t stuff into a closet to get rid of it.
